They are New England ROYALTY! We consider then a National Treasure. Especially if you are from Boston, you hear them at every sporting event.
dude. I grew up between the neighborhoods of. charlestown (which is Boston) and Winter Hill (which is somerville). Legendary irish mobs that fought an actual war in the late 60s that had 68 murders.
I went to a Dropkick Murphys concert with a boyfriend. Not really my kind of music, but it was a lot of fun. They put on a great show. My favorite song was The Dirty Glass.
Happy St. Patrick's Day from Boston! 🍀
Happy Paddy's Day Jay and Amber!
The sound you are referring to is an accordion, Rose Tattoo, LEEBOY, Going out in Style, The Green Fields of France.
This is probably the most well known dropkick murphys song, but my personal favorite is 'Rose Tattoo' which is DEFINITELY worth a listen.
Thank you for this one. Our group performed comic relief bits for a local belly dance troupe for three consecutive years, and this is the song they chose for our introduction. Ah, the memories.
Slainte, to Jay and Amber and all of the RSR family. From an old Irishman a long ways from Ireland 🇮🇪 ✌️
Good song good reaction and happy St Patrick's Day
Having been born, raised and still living in Boston, this is our anthem! 🍀💚☘️
Thought that would have been Time to Go, their song for the Bruins
I can't help thinking of The Departed when I hear this great song.
They used this on the show Derry Girls (just the instrumental bit) which is where I know them from. Fantastic show with a fantastic soundtrack.
When i'm full of anxiety or frustration, this is my goto. Turn it up and loudly yell/sing with them. For me gets the bad out so I can be happy again. Lol
Happy Saint Patricks Day from Scotland 🎉🎉🎉
My son Morgan is a big fan of the Dropkick Murphys. Not on my radar, but that's what I like about your channel. You give us exposure to lots of music that we might not otherwise listen to.
I love you guys. You seem like you enjoy what you do, and enjoy each other's company.

This is a rowdy pub song that was briefly featured in the movie The Departed which was about the Boston Irish Mafia, great cast and movie!
In Boston it’s a Suffolk County official holiday known as Evacuation Day. It commemorates the day in 1776, March 17, that we drove the British occupiers out of the city of Boston.

This is an American Celtic punk band. This is their most famous song as it was featured in the Scorcese film The Departed.
Since you've done Fairytale of New York, I'd recommend The Pogues' "If I Should Fall From Grace With God".
