This is how I got started in leathercraft. I stripped a dumped sofa and n made tinder pouches, tool rolls, sporrans and other wee bits n bobs.

Your multifaceted talents never seems to have limits. You not only had the vision to see that there was STILL life in something discarded but you also had the empathy to rescue it. You showed care even down to the way you carried the piece home, the way that you lovingly touch it during incredibly well thought out layout. Simply put, if it had feelings... it would know that it is loved.
Hahn = a true artist who always carries a craft knife.

LOVE this! I make journals out of old purses and a few months ago, a furniture store gave me couch leather samples they were getting rid of. I didn't even have to cut up a couch for it. ;-)

I sure hope you got the rest of the leather off the couch! Just finished stripping a whole sofa that someone had put out for free but now I have enough fine soft leather for many projects!!

재활용하는 손이 정말 아름다우시네요. 물론 그 아름다움은 마음에서부터 나온 것이긴하지만
그 마음은 가슴에 담고 우선 눈에 보이는 손길에 아름다움을 느낍니다.
한 때 diy목재에 빠져 버려진 가구들을 줏어 나르던 시간들이 있었는데...다시 버리느라 애도 먹었던 것들...
밑에 어느분의 글처럼 저도 카트칼을 들고 다녀야겠습니다. 저희 동네 가끔 잘 나오던에...

It called Bontex. I used 0.4 mm thickness one. The lining is suede sticker sheet. Hope it helps

Neste video realmente agora falou comigo, com este seus trabalho pois aqui em Curitiba fazemos o trabalho de coletar e reciclar tecidos de estofados temos parceiras de empresas que guardam estes retalhos para nós evitando de joga-os na natureza e nos temos a função de criar produtos com estes materiais, fazemos bem isso salvamos retalhos de estofados, gerando uma nova vida a estes materiais que estariam sendo despejados e poluindo a natureza,e nos coletamos confeccionamos mochilas, porta moedas, necessaries, almofadas e muitos protetores para porta,(portelaecodecor).recolocando materiais, com potencial de reuso novamente no dia da dia das pessoas,assim eles eu também sinto que tecidos ficam felizes porque foram salvos de serem lixo,e agora são ecoprodutos na casa de alguém.

I just finished turning an old leather chair into the top and bottom panels on your mask pattern, worked pretty well, truth be told.
