    It's because of your artistry, vision, designing, measuring, cutting, treating, accurate hand-sewing, attention to detail, cost of materials, labor, and most of all pride in the ultimate craftsmanship. People can buy stuff made by a machine in a factory, but there is nothing compared to handmade. I appreciate you Atelier!!!

    What glue do you use? I find it hard myself to find a glue that doesn't make me woosy or give me headaches while still being a good adhesive.
    I'll share a small lifehack because you give so much to this community: put some grip tape/skateboard tape on the back end of your ruler and it will never slide away while cutting leather again.

    Why are handmade wallets so expensive? THIS is why. Perfect craftsmanship. Attention to detail down to the last stitch, which of course is done by hand. Notice how near the end, he connected the two main pieces together with a space so that the leather doesn't have to over-extend itself and crack. Excellent job.

    nicely done but in my opinion the card slots need more clearance on the sides. especially at 1.2mm per slot, getting 4 cards in there will be quite tight in practical use. even with the skiving done and some stretching over time.

    Во-первых это ручная работа, во-вторых время больше занимает,- значит меньше производится, в-третьих это индивидуальный подход и два, три одинаковых изделия разные в отличие от фабричного производства... Думаю, что много доводов можно написать.

    hi, why do you glue together 2 pieces of 0.6mm leather for the card slots, instead of using a 1,2mm leather ? (maybe you don't have any, it could be the reason). I would like to know if there is any particular reason you're doing this. Thank you, by the way, i love watching your videos.

    Maestro! no son "caras" son costosas! muy diferente, algo caro es un producto que tiene un valor por encima de su valor real, algo costoso, es algo que tiene un precio arriba de la media pero que esta justificado por diferentes motivos, material, estilo, exclusividad, fabricación, etc...saludos y un enorme abrazo!

    • @Qinn_Skies
      @Qinn_Skies 4 роки тому +2

      I will do the same technic with Hahns if edging paint is needed. this is because edging dye works better on sharp edge as the paint will stay on it ..less mess... If burnished we use to bevel to give around, smooth feel
