- I live in a turn of the century home and we only have one bathroom in the living area of the house. I wanted a custom sink but I didn't want to pay boku bucks for one from one of the expensive furniture stores, so I built one!
WoodWorkLIFE shirts like the one you see me wearing are available for sale at the WoodWorkLIFE store

Check out James Wright's glue comparison video, it was EPIC!

Just one word : BEAUTIFUL ! ! ! Cheers from Canada, snow country .
great job, man!
Thanks!
I'm building matching side by side vanities out of walnut. I struggled with sink, too, and ended up going with a vessel sink so the underside was open for drawers.
That walnut looks amazing! Great job!
Thanks!
Great build, nice to see a video from you again!
There will be a bunch more soon
Really dig the spaced rack on the underside and the vanity mirror.
We plan on using it to store towels. I saw it on some space inspired furniture and really liked it.
Just finished building your design. Used lighter walnut per the customer's request. Unfortunately, she couldn't afford the "big sink" so we compromised on that. Anyway, it looks awesome. Went off to rave reviews. Thanks for the tip on the under-mount drawer slides. That saved some time!
Very cool! Do you have any pictures? I would love to see how it turned out. Did the customer find my video or did you?
@@WoodWorkLIFE I actually designed almost the identical build in Sketchup and ran into the same problem you did: how do you mount the drawers? Found your video / solution and downloaded the plans since it saved me having to re-draw. How do I send you pics on youtube?
With any luck, the non-squareness of your cabinet matches the non-squareness of your walls. :) Looks great! Thanks for sharing!
Always! Love my old house.
Beautiful build! I love walnut, though I’ve never worked with walnut ply before. The domino through detail was nice on the drawers! I can empathize with family and other responsibilities taking precedence over publishing!
You've got it. I love these projects and the people that follow me on this platform. But that amazing wife of mine and awesome baby girls are my everything. Glad I could finally make something for them.
Nice work dude. I dig the sink.
Thanks man! Ya I dig it, WoodWorkWIFE has great taste. Thanks for watching.
Vanity insanity! Looks great!
FO SHO, I didn't know you were a negotiator...explains a lot.
Looks great!
It looks really nice, Rick! Man, that finish on the walnut really does give a great color. And I love the sink hardware coming out of the wall...nice touch.
Thanks so much buddy!
What a beautiful vanity and a great video! That walnut just sings! I do like the added domino detail on the sides of the drawers. It's just a touch of something different, though I agree it probably wouldn't work for all styles. And go you for the non-square, looking like it's square top! Nice one!
I LOVE it, and with the trough sink it makes me very happy.
Wood.Work.LIFE. Happy is a very good thing to be!!
That’s really gorgeous!
Thanks!
Dang that final product looks really good! And that lumber store looks really nice!
I'm a fan, u-pick is certainly in the rotation now
Great job bro
Thanks
Awesome video and beautiful and creative solution for a bathroom! The trough sink is unique and will surely start a trend when presented as beautifully as you designed it (around your wife's wise suggestion!).
Thanks momma!
Great build, looks fantastic 👍👍👍
Thanks dude!
Looks amazing Rick! 😍 Awesome work! 👍👊
Thanks Fred!
Very nice build. I love the sink choice for the small space.
Thanks so much! We looked everywhere for this thing.
Really Beautiful!
Thanks so much!
Yo, cool shirt.
I got it from a cool person. How is that new shop coming? Will we get a video on it? Maybe on Instagram video?
Nice
awesome build thumbs up
Thanks!
love it! was great watching all the lead up on IG too!
Too much lead up :) If I built it again it would take like 3 days :)
Such a nice build and video! That walnut plywood is gorgeous and the finish looks great! Well done. Are there any concerns with the monocoat in the "wet" bathroom environment? Do you have to reapply down the road?
I have never tested...I do have plans to give the top a coating with TotalBoat marine varnish though just to be super safe down the road. But my desk is coated with Rubio and I don't use coasters and it is still flawless.
This looks really cool! I want this for my own bathroom. :D
Thanks! I love this thing. It is going to be so nice in the new bathroom. I dig it!
What a great video... im Motivated. Thanks for the content XD
Go get it! Glad I could assist!
Where did you get the undermount drawer slides? Also, great job... Thanks for video. I subscribed to your Patreon page!
Just on amazon, I think i put the link in the description
Looks great. How did you fit the drain pipe down there with the drawers coming up as high as they do?
It goes between the drawers.
how many hours did you have in that project?
Isn’t that TB3? Awesome build.
Is what tb3?
Oh, it's titebond 2, 3 is blue
yes it was 3. red is original blue is 2 and green is 3
Joshua Castleberry I thought so, I only use 3, but I didn’t want to detract from the build - that vanity is awesome.
Thanks, I guess I just brain farted. I use 1 most of the time.
You paid a fortune for a domino so you wouldn't have to pay big bucks for a vanity. Sounds like false economy to me. But all in all, nice job, nice design. And being able to deal with those little out of square type of situations is what makes the difference between a woodworker and a hack
You think this is the only time I've ever used the domino? It has paid for itself 10x over and then some on commissions. If you are a woodworker trying to make money in the craft, it's dumb NOT to have one. For a hobbyist, it's a luxury.
