Thanks Boris! The bathroom as whole took plenty of time and it's actually been a struggle to get it done and find the time to make videos. Some tasks in there took no time at all and I usually mention those when they surprise me that they don't take longer. :)
A master-class as always. So many little things, like stainless fasteners, vertical stripes of mirror glue for air flow, flooring varnish for durability, your clever jigs for ripping 45s and for placing the final cab. All the little tips that you see in these videos are priceless. Great stuff...
I've said it before, and I'll say it again - your design elements are fantastic - well within the bounds of contemporary aesthetic, but without the trendy elements...................timeless in their simplicity, and only outdone by your superb craftsmanship. Brilliant!
You are not alone. I've purchased complete products just to get a specific part from it as well. Oftentimes, it is cheaper to buy the whole product than to have it made.
Looks fantastic Neil! I learned a lesson remodeling both my bathrooms, however long you think it will take you - double it because it takes a lot longer than you think. Side note - I received my Dart. It is a work of art. What took me by surprise was how perfect the weight is. It feels really good in your hand. I'm afraid to use it because I've rarely had something this nice. Thank you!
Thanks very much - I totally agree, it took way longer than I thought it would. Glad you like the dart and thanks for the support, but don't be afraid to use it, that's what it's for. :)
No nonsense, quality craftsmanship, awesome projects and a down home attitude is what makes your channel stand out miles from the rest! Plus you make great tools that we can buy too! Well done to you my friend!
Man there's a lot of 'makers' on UA-cam that show people how to do things incorrectly and take no pride in their work but I gotta say, you're a real craftsman and I appreciate how much you care about the finished product. Keep it up my guy.
Wow, what a lovely bathroom. The vanity, sink, and cabinet look awesome. Kath has to be very pleased. Once again, Neil, you show that professional quality work can be filled with love. Thanks for sharing this, Mate.
This is a beautiful set of projects which I'm sure you will enjoy for many years to come. I have to say though, the jig-master strikes again! Your dado-routing jig is brilliant, thanks for sharing!
This is easy watching. Thanks so much I'm a carpenter in New Zealand and have learnt new methods to try after watching your work. Keep up the admirable craftsmanship I love it .
Neil, this looks great. I love building things I use everyday; it doubles the satisfaction, doesn’t it? I like all your vids but esp the household ones. And as always, thanks for showing your mistakes.
I have made a few modifications the desk I'm currently sat at. I have rubbish tools and limited skill so it's certainly not (98% perfect) like Neil's projects are but yes, it's great to use something you've modified yourself!
I got my marking guides and my plans!!! Thank you. I love the videos and I love the honesty of your work. If you make a mistake, it is ok and not the end of the world!
Every video of yours, without fail, is nothing short of superb! Your work is simply second to none. Your ability to persevere through the mistakes and always find a way to solve problems is admirable!
That bathroom looks like it comes from the time when Bob Hope movies stopped being funny. I don't care for the look of it, but the craftsmanship is top notch.
Lovely! These type of projects are actually my favorite videos that you do . Combing your artistic skills and home/ property improvement is quite satisfying to view. 👍🏻
The vanity, sink and vanity mirror cabinet all look amazing. The bathroom looks amazing. Very impressive work as usual. Thanks for sharing, your work is always an inspiration.
You can get euro style hinges with a shallow cup. They're designed for 13mm compact laminate. I use them on alfresco kitchens/BBQs all the time. Hettich and Hafele make them, but for some reason the Salice don't have soft close.
Another great build! You sir are a master at woodworking, and your design ideas are always amazing and inventive. I love the shape of the cabinet, it is very stylish and fits pretty well together with the whole concept you created for the bathroom. This is one more amazing creation, and I can't wait to see your next project!
I love this cabinet! Previous owners of my house replaced all the cabinets with box store ones which are very plain and had no handles of any kind. The bathroom cabinet has push magnets I've been wanting to replace for a while now, and your cabinet is the perfect replacement, especially since it has much more room than the 2" deep current one has. The topper is the name of the wood. It's awesome.
Ohhh, it looks so good all together! Excellent tips re the feet off the floor with the purspex and silicone. I will share that with my sister who is using vintage furniture in her bathroom reno
That came out super cool! Well done pask 😁. And always with the cool tricks! I certainly would have been there trying to hold the cabinet up at the same time as trying to mark and drill the holes. *forehead slap* or just be smart like you and make a little stand for it first!
Neil- recieved the marking knife last week (USA) it is spectacular, a true work of art and worth many times what you're charging IMO. Anyone who has not ordered one - do it!
You never stop amazing me. Everything you make looks better than most stuff made you can buy over the counter. And quality-wise it appears to be superb as well. You are a well of knowledge, and among my biggest inspirations. I am really glad I discovered your channel. Your videos are 10/10!
Absolutely stunning! It's just a shame that gorgeous cabinet is pressed against a wall. I think it would look even better if it were free standing. Thank you, Pask. You've given me so much inspiration!
That’s all turned out super great mate. I hear you when you said at the end “this project has taken a long time’… they always take over your life but the end results are fantastic.
Looks great! Nicely done. When you cut out the bit for the power outlet I thought for a moment that you'd drilled into the mirror and was horrified!! Enjoy your beautiful new bathroom x
Beautiful work, Neil! The bathroom looks amazing! 😃 I really liked how you made the cabinet! Simple, but looks great!!! Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Omg omg omg!!! I’ve been waiting for this one!!! Currently I’m undergoing a bath reno too, I built my own solid hickory vanity, first time to build something more large and with bridle joints and half laps… such a stressful blast! Anyways a company wanted $1100 for a quartz vanity top that’s only 31 1/4” long… no freakin way so I’m working on a concrete form for my own white cement top. Back when looking for a medicine cabinet, I wanted the same exact modern rounded edges, inset cabinet with brass not gold, black or bronze and that was a nightmare to find what I was needing. I finally did but all along I kept thinking I should build my own and now I regret that I didn’t! Such a stunning mirror cabinet, vanity, concrete sink and the entire bathroom is gorgeous and well done 🤟🏼
If I haven't said it before, I apologize if I have it 😂 repeating. You, Sir, are a genius. Great cabinet, absolutely beautiful job. The genius part is the little stand you knocked together to support the cabinet when installing. I would have thought of it too. However, it would have been 2 weeks after doing the project. Lol.
First watch on your channel and I really enjoyed it. Lovely quality to the video and obviously the projects, so much skill in the design, execution, jigs and tips. Also love that you left in the shelf error, would have been easy to omit, but it is so much part of project life and helps us newbies understand that we aren't failures. Now where's that back catalogue ☺️
Adding those extra strips to the shelf edges presented an opportunity to potentially use another type of wood with a contrasting color. Still looks lovely either way!
Amazing job as always, Neil, you are one of those makers where I can see a new piece and instantly know it was you who built it, your style and aesthetic is unmistakable. I would say the same about Laura Kampf , John Heisz and Frank Howarth.
a tip If you ever need a mirror for another project. I had to use one for an infinity table a few years ago. I essentially found an old mirror at a yard sale and used a local class cutting company to cut it to shape for me. My mirror was square versus rounded but maybe try checking thought next time. If i remember correctly, I bought the mirror for 5 - 10 US dollars, then for the mirror to be cut maybe 10 at most. Hope this helps
My ongoing admiration of this man's attitude and genius really wasn't so hard and took no time at all ❤😂
Thanks Boris! The bathroom as whole took plenty of time and it's actually been a struggle to get it done and find the time to make videos. Some tasks in there took no time at all and I usually mention those when they surprise me that they don't take longer. :)

Thanks very much Rob - glad there were some handy tips in there! :)
I've said it before, and I'll say it again - your design elements are fantastic - well within the bounds of contemporary aesthetic, but without the trendy elements...................timeless in their simplicity, and only outdone by your superb craftsmanship. Brilliant!
Thanks very much George - Glad you like it! :)
Well said. My thoughts exactly - enduring style.
The cabinet looks fantastic Neil and the finished bathroom is equally as stunning mate.
Superb video
Thanks very much Ian! We're all super happy with it and the kids are actually showing an interest in something I've made. :)
@@PaskMakes that's brilliant Neil 👍🏻

I'm afraid to use it because I've rarely had something this nice. Thank you!

2:30 Thanks for the fast delivery. Your marking dart looks and performs great. And less then 3 EUR customs. Cheers from Berlin, Germany

Thanks very much Vickie! The whole family are super happy with it so I must have done something right! :)
1:12 Gympie Messmate has to be the most Aussie sounding wood in the world 😂 love your videos, Sir ❤
They do look good together. Nice renovation.
This is a beautiful set of projects which I'm sure you will enjoy for many years to come. I have to say though, the jig-master strikes again! Your dado-routing jig is brilliant, thanks for sharing!
Thanks very much Dave - glad you found it helpful! :)
Excellent job. 17:36 Ever notice, UA-camrs are never happy with something, they are always SUPER happy.
I just love that cupboard, great job Neil.
Add home design to your resume because this looks fabulous!

Very beautiful cabin, thank you for sharing your videos. God bless you and your family.
Scrap Mirror Challenge… a new series has been born!
“BTW” I received my two marking knives. Some if my Christmas shopping is done!
Every video of yours, without fail, is nothing short of superb! Your work is simply second to none. Your ability to persevere through the mistakes and always find a way to solve problems is admirable!

Nice work! All those things you made looks great! You are a real Carpenter even though you still have 10 fingers!😂 Greetings from Finland!
Fantastic work. You are a true artisan.
Lovely! These type of projects are actually my favorite videos that you do . Combing your artistic skills and home/ property improvement is quite satisfying to view. 👍🏻
Thank you - Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Fantastic, Neil. Your patience and problem solving are truly inspirational as always. Thank you! I'm still saving up for my very own dart!
Looks great as always! I especially love the color scheme with the contrast of the light wood and the green linoleum. Great job! 👏
Thank you Stefan! I was very pleased with the laminate when I found it out, I should have thought of it from the start. :)
The vanity, sink and vanity mirror cabinet all look amazing. The bathroom looks amazing. Very impressive work as usual. Thanks for sharing, your work is always an inspiration.
What a truly beautiful and stylish cabinet! I am so impressed by your craftmanship. Thank you for sharing!
Neil, your work holding and jigging is almost as beautiful as your work itself.
Great work, everything looks fantastic together!
Thanks very much - Glad you enjoyed it! :)
only 3 words...I LOVE IT 😎

Came out great. Very nice!
4:55 - what a clever simple jig!

Amazing build as always Neil.
You make it look so easy, but there's top quality skills at work.
Neil, that is absolutely bloomin’ fantastic. Amazing work, as always.

That blueish green back was a nice touch. I've never been able to get a decent finish with silicon, now I see how it's done.
Absolutely stunning! It's just a shame that gorgeous cabinet is pressed against a wall. I think it would look even better if it were free standing. Thank you, Pask. You've given me so much inspiration!
Thank you! :)
Super well done Neil!!! Appreciate your humbleness and talent 😃

Beautiful work Neil!
Awesome job, as always !
liking the video before watching..this man delivers 100% of time
Very nice work! Just put some soft closes on those hinges! Best thing I ever did for our mirrored cabinet.
Absolutely stunning 😍 craftsmanship at its purest! Waow waow waow

4:09 great use of 123-block!
A real quality job from top to bottom. Well of course it is, as it's your work it would be shocking if it was anything but excellent...
Bathroom looks fantastic 👍👌
Love it!
Only thing I would’ve changed would’ve been to make that little handle out of brass or something. Make it a fun little detail.
That’s a beautiful job, wondered how rounded corners are made! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Amazing job as always, Neil, you are one of those makers where I can see a new piece and instantly know it was you who built it, your style and aesthetic is unmistakable. I would say the same about Laura Kampf , John Heisz and Frank Howarth.

Chinese hospital green. My absolute favorite color! Hell yeah!

Amazing work! bathroom looks super clean and the furniture ties it all together!
Bravo to you - what a finish to a long project
