- I allowed my special guest to mow the lawn and I should have known things would go south...
Of course the one and only @Connor Ward was visiting my house and in true rebel fashion, he went all willy nilly on the yard. Scalping spots and driving the mower in a reckless fashion as well as mowing the tall fescue WAY too short. He just can't help it, it's in his nature. I will have to go into damage control mode and get this lawn back in shape.

LOL. This is hilarious. I'm watching a video about a couple of dudes geeking out about mowing each other lawns. I actually find it entertaining. It's like the equivalent of a guest chef in your kitchen, or you in theirs. lol My current goal is the to be the first one in the peer pressure chain on the nice days or the weekends to get lawn stuff started. Right now in the PNW, you have to stay on top of the 10 day forecast. I was the first today. (tomorrow is lawn waste pick up). lol
I did the 10-10-10 thing a week ago because we've had bags of it laying around for like 3 years. Holy crap, my lawn has never looked this dark green before. Granted, I've been hammering it with fertilizer this year, but wow. It's finally nice to see results after working my tail off on it the last two years. Glad you guys had fun. Looking forward to the next video.

The time he just happens to be there, the sissy grass is absolutely flawless, healthy and unbelievably lush. The timing couldn't possibly have aligned better. It's a rare thing to make Connor Ward's jaw drop and words stammer trying to describe how awesome someone *elses* grass is. Just based on the visuals alone, this is one of my favorite reels from you (the college turf team and John Deere Golf Tournament reels continue to cap the list, however. Those are PBS-worthy).
You guys make great content by yourselves, but it's always great seeing you guys in a video together! 10/10

I like Connor's 2+1 striping. I use that regularly to dominate my neighborhood. I have a corner lot that shows off my work to everyone who enters the neighborhood. You guys are teaching me a lot that I have put to good use!

I wish you guys were neighbors and went back and fourth pulling antics against each other. It would be absolutely brilliant content and it’s truthfully what a lot of us lawn enthusiasts wish we had. A community of lawn enthusiasts right on our own street or at minimum someone else to share our hobby with and all the more better when it’s someone with a fun sense of humor when you guys collaborate.
