  • I got a call from a family that was in need of a lawn makeover. They said they were struggling with making ends meet, and in between growing a new business and raising kids, there seemed to never be any time for lawn care around the property. I told them that I would come out and help them by providing them with a free lawn makeover. They were truly surprised to hear that and blessed that anyone would take time out of their day and help them out.
This is what I do and what I have a passion for doing, helping those that are in serious need of lawn care services. I enjoy every minute of it and am truly blessed to be able to be a benefit to the community. If you have the chance to help someone out, do it. God will bless you twofold. Have a great day my friend!

Despite it made a good video, I still got the feeling that the reason for these people to ask for help is different than indicated. Just as read other comments. 3 cars, bicycles, UTVs and so on carelessly in the yard, just like other stuff. Not even cleaned up knowing you were coming. Makes me think their lifestyle and mindset is the problem. These people indeed need help, cleaning up the garden is only a symptom control.

I’m a single Mom and when my son was little taking care of my yard was overwhelming but I managed to do it. One Mother’s Day weekend I came home from work all tired and dreading doing my yard. I pulled up in my driveway and the entire yard was mowed! My Dad mowed it for me. That was one of those sit down right there and cry moments. Hopefully, your kindness will help this family and give them a much needed push and motivation and brighten their day.

We never know the actual circumstances of a family like this, and it's possible that the BMW, and three Four Wheeler's were given to them. At some point, however, they need to reevaluate their decision making. As we say in recovery, "No change, no change"!

I’m sure your intentions are good and your work is always outstanding.
However, it’s not a garden makeover they needed. It’s a lesson in how not to waste money on material things and how to tidy up after yourself. How many quads, motorbikes and cars do they need?
And struggling with money doesn’t stop your legs from working and going out into the garden to tidy up and throw away rubbish. Laziness does though.

In the backyard, I noticed several different stacks of lumber. It's possible that one member of that household is a project "starter" but not a project "finisher". I speak from the heart on this and this isn't meant as a criticism but coming from the experience of helping my senior parents who are both 79yrs old.
My dad is a clutter maker & a project starter and I'm the "Cat & the Hat" clean up crew coming up behind him when the project is done but all the tools are left out. My dad has had lots of medical issues since last June 2021 so also have been mowing their 1/2 acre property which is positioned in a triangle shape in a cul-da-sac. They also have two poodles, so I'm also on poopy patrol clean up duty too!
What I can tell you is that once I get an area all cleaned up, it takes away the feeling of being to overwhelmed to clean. When you look at that families backyard it looks VERY overwhelming IF you look at it as one huge project. But NOW that the entire lawn has been trimmed & mowed & looking cleaner & more organized that may be the "jump start" they needed to be able to clean & organize that backyard.
Sometimes it takes someone else to come in & get that process started for someone to be able to keep that backyard mowed & cleaned up & better organized. From the amount of bikes I SAW IN the backyard, they may have 3or 4 kids too!

😒(smh) Hard to feel sorry for a family whose yard looks like they haven't even tried. They could start by selling some of those cars, atvs, bicycles, etc. A year from now, that yard will probably look exactly the same.
At least you did what you could.

    Hi Fill. Love your channel.
This is way after the fact but my mom taught me “you can’t out-give God”. No matter the reason they could not do this themselves, you did a Kingdom thing. That’s more important than anything else. Blessings, Liz.

Singing with the choir. What a pig pen! I have yard care people and I would be mortified to have them have to move anything.
I hope these people have the decency to praise Fill to the high heavens when ever and where ever they can.

Geez..the homeowner sh have at least cleared up the garden after all he's doing it for free. If it's a mess outside then I can only imagine what it's like inside.

    They could do yard sales,
    sell stuff on line
Get the kids to work in the yard depending on the ages
They should at least move stuff out of the way, clean up the yard for you. Its about hand up not hand out. I'm all for helping others but if they are able body they should be out there helping you ASAP.

Hi, great videos… you never talk about the machines you use and why. I like to learn more. And do people reach out a second time and pay you that second time? Keep on doing the good work. Good channel… 👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽👍🏾👍🏿

First off, great job. Second, it was pretty rude of those people to not move their cars or attempt to clean up the backyard. The BMW in the driveway didn't make them as if they needed help. Third, props to you for taking the time to move all their crap and making it look nice.

Just to let you know if when you turn your button on and off to make that thing run since it's battery operated it takes more juice to turn it off and on then it does just to leave it run so just to give you a little hint save your battery life and quit doing that on and off thing

Hi Fill, Another great job. Please dont let people take advantage of you. If i knew you were coming to help me out i would have tried to clean up a few things to make it easier for you. I dont know their situation and im not saying anything negative about them but thats what I would have done. The kids could of picked their bikes up and a few of the pine cones. Every little bit would of helped. Stay Safe. Thanks for your kindness to others. ❤🙏⛳🌷🌻🍺
