Actually a great steak starts with the farmer whom raised the beef. No one thinks about that. Someone took care of a cow and fed it properly to make that great steak. God Bless The Farmer.

If anyone’s wondering “Pat Lafrieda beef comes from all Black Angus steers. The animals are raised on small, family owned farms. The steers live their lives on pasture and are finished on corn to develop the marbling that our customers seek. Our sourced steers are not dosed with antibiotics, and also feature an all natural “never ever” program of all natural Black Angus beef which is 100% hormone and antibiotic free for their whole lives. Our well sourced steers are processed in a facility which was designed by Temple Grandin, PhD, a professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University who developed a method for the most humane way to process livestock. Less stressful situations for the animal results in better tasting meat.”

Plastic cutting boards (PET) are a source of polythene microplastic contamination in meat, making them also a direct source of microplastic in wastewater.
The mean size of the microplastic in the raw meat was 1279.2 ± 835.0 µm, but decreased when the meat was cooked or fried. The microplastic melted during both cooking and frying processes and recrystallized partially upon cooling.
The Meat and Poultry Hotline says that consumers may use wood or a nonporous surface for cutting raw meat and poultry. However, consider using one cutting board for fresh produce and bread and a separate one for raw meat, poultry, and seafood.

It's pretty funny since they complain about how vegans always talk about it endlessly...yet they are the ones who bring the subject up. Kind of like the people who are so wrapped up in hating SJWs theyve never taken a step back and realized they're just as annoying as the people they hate. The first 20+ comments are people upset at imaginary vegans.

Pat Lafrieda beef comes from all Black Angus steers. Less stressful situations for the animal results in better tasting meat

All beef raised on a family farm is just as good as black angus. A black angus doesn't taste any better or worse than a jersey, hereford, or any other beef raised on pasture. Support your local family farms and find out the truth. They ALL take pride in the animals they raise. Make sure the beef you buy from your local family farmer is also sent to your local family owned butcher shop for the best quality meat you can get. They take pride in putting their names on the food that you receive.

Pat Lafreida Meat Purveyors don’t do a lot of advertising, all they have to do is let their meats advertise for them, that’s why they are so successful. The entire Lafreida family has been doing it for so long, they’ve forgotten more about meats than most anybody else ever knew, another reason their so successful. This is how it gets advertised, you go into a steak house in NYC order a steak, the steak is so good, you have to tell your friends and family about it, and then you ask the restaurant where their steaks come from, and they’ll say why was it not good, and you’ll say oh no it was the best steak of my life, and they’ll say that’s wonderful, we’re glad you enjoyed it, our steaks all come from one place, the best of the best Pat Lafreida Meat Purveyors. And then you’ll tell your friends and family about them, and they’ll go and try it, and tell their friends and family about them and so on. Although in NYC, the steak houses don’t usually host the most average customers lol, all it takes is one celebrity customer to eat a Pat Lafreida steak, and they’ll have a million ways to tell the world about it including on tv. When you have all these famous people eating your steaks, and they recommend it, it will make the more average customers want to eat it too. Once Celebrities tell other celebrities, it isn’t long before other famous restaurants, who also feed celebrities, get told to get Pat Lafreida beef for their steaks, and so on until now he supplies over 600 world famous high end restaurants for all their meat needs, and he’s now the absolute most famous Meat Purveyor in the country, and dominates the industry. They’ve even attracted world famous chefs like Gordon Ramsey to demand his meat so he can create the perfect meat dishes.

1:50 His dad probably didn't want him in the business because NYC food purveyors were often mafia owned. If you ain't mafia, you're in competition with them, which could be hazardous to your health. Pat LaFrieda has mentioned these run-ins with the mafia. A question for New Yorker's, is it even possible to get as big as LaFrieda Meat's is, without being mobbed up?... or has the mafia's influence waned that much in the NYC food purveyor game?
