Plastic cutting boards (PET) are a source of polythene microplastic contamination in meat, making them also a direct source of microplastic in wastewater. The mean size of the microplastic in the raw meat was 1279.2 ± 835.0 µm, but decreased when the meat was cooked or fried. The microplastic melted during both cooking and frying processes and recrystallized partially upon cooling. 1:50 His dad probably didn't want him in the business because NYC food purveyors were often mafia owned. If you ain't mafia, you're in competition with them, which could be hazardous to your health. Pat LaFrieda has mentioned these run-ins with the mafia. A question for New Yorker's, is it even possible to get as big as LaFrieda Meat's is, without being mobbed up?... or has the mafia's influence waned that much in the NYC food purveyor game?
Those were exactly my thoughts while watching this video and thinking back in time

The (after)life of cows
I wonder through the video, is the raw meat touching their skin like the lady holding the meat up on her shoulder, is it touching near her face or neck?
