- The initial checkout of a Panasonic DECT 6 Plus cordless phone with digital answering system model KX-TGE270. I do not have a very high opinion of Panasonic's more recent productions. This one has a lot of nice features and functionality, but the basics such as the speakerphone seem to get ignored in exchange. Panasonic seems to have forgotten how to make a speakerphone in more recent times. This one isn't unusable, but it's definitely not quite right either. Panasonic is definitely not the same quality phone it used to be years ago.
The Smart Function Key flashes when there are messages, missed calls, or voicemails, and when the handset rings. You can press it to play the messages/answer the call/view the missed calls, even while the handset is charging.
In my opinion, the clicking buttons give it a more premium feel and I wish the newer models still had them.
This, the KX-TG465SK, is a 5-handset set. Deregistration is #131.
Cell locator can be programmed with your cell phone number, then when pressing the button on the base, it will call it.
He can also reset his unit using the 159* code, it’ll clean the phones call log or anything else.
9:53 That was hilarious Jordan when you said Get in there you stupid jerk! 😄
Thanks for letting me know.
@@JordanU No problemo
I have this phone except it’s silver, and it’s still functional despite many power outages, and I’m surprised that the handset rings, even in a power outage, but I can’t make or receive calls, so I had to make and/or receive calls using an AT&T 210
The handset must be left on the base during a power failure as it tells you, otherwise the base won’t get power. You can use other handsets as normal.
To deregister the handsets you need to press, #131 and it should say de-registration on the screen and select the one you want to delete
I love Panasonic Cordless phones because they uses triple A batteries rechargeables. Never had any problem with Panasonic products including microwave either.
4:40 that’s something that appears on the screen. If you turn one or turn all of them off, you’ll be able to see your voicemail from your service provider, your missed calls, and/or your messages on the answering machine
Hey Jordan the code from deregulation is #131 and it will take you what handsets you deregister
I have had the same phone set since 2022, not too bad in my experience.
Question, how do you make your number 555-1234
I type it in the testing equipment.
Hey, Jordan U, do you take any requests at all?
I do believe he the does. But he may not know you.
