That was such a nice greeting! The world needs more people who are so pleasant.
Try recording a message and then waiting a few seconds in silence, see if it then says "Thank you for your call." over the line. I'm sure that's what the programmers had in mind, as ridiculous as it is because that hasn't been the standard operation of answering machines for 20 years prior.
Since you have so many 103xS sets now, you should get the 103xB set of these with the finish that matches the 607x, it's way less noticeable when it gets wear on it.

@xyspade I will do that at some point. That does make sense, and that probably is what transpires, but it’s still an outrageous item to include and spend time programming. The relatives that have this set have this color, so that’s why I keep getting these. If the other color shows up cheap somewhere, I’d probably get it, but this color finish is much more aesthetically appealing to me.

I have an older video showing the ringtones on that handset. There’s no indication of an incoming call on the base, I don’t see a reason to record a separate ‘ringing’ video as there’s really nothing more to see.

@@JordanU I was trying to use the ringtone in a project, but there's almost no video documentation online. I was just wondering because every video has the wrong ring cycle, and I haven't had one of these in years. It make sense that you wouldn't make another ringing video, I just need a clean recording of this phone ringing.

Great channel and video. Do you happen to know how to repair this system? Ours suddenly will not answer, play the outbound or saved messages [many on there of sentimental value]. The Answer On blinks continually, and pushing the Message button makes the set beep. All other functions work fine. Thanks!

I'm not sure how to read the messages on the chip externally, my best suggestion would be to reach out to A1 Telephone.

Ironically, I expected the classic Panasonic ringtone. This sounds more like an AT&T, which doesn't please me at all.

This ring has a particular nostalgia to me, and so for that reason, I like it. But I do not understand their choice of it; this is a relatively recent model yet the tone sounds very 'old' and 'behind the times' as far as technology goes.
