Thank you for this great video, and thank you for showing us how to use the Voice Paging feature! I bought this same phone system about a week ago. I had wanted to try Voice Paging, but I couldn’t find it in the menu! I didn’t realize that I had to keep scrolling down to find that option within the Intercom menu! You taught me what to do, and I appreciate it very much!

Nice Job. Still would had added how well the the key pad is lid up at night. Thats one important issue for me. Our eyes not as good anymore and a good lid keypad is a plus.

i have a model almost exactly the same as this one. Except mine does not have the voice paging. When I go to the intercom menu the only choices are the other handset names .

I can't for the life of me figure out which one is the absolute newest and best Panasonic Cordless Phone with at least 5 handsets for 2017? Their website shows the TGD model with Voice Assist as being NEW, but it also shows a TGF model as being new. You would think they would go by letter, so F should be the newest, but even the Panasonic chat couldn't help me figure out which one is the newest one for 2017. Which one is the absolute newest model? Also, the TGE model lists Voice Paging, but I can't find out if that is also included in this new TGD model with Voice Assist, which is a separate feature. They could make this so much easier on consumers if they would just put the damn month and year in the model number, or at least on the website. lol Any help? Thanks!

The 2cell ability is unimportant to me, but need to know if you can mute the caller ID and lower the ringer volume on the base & handsets. Was looking for a Panasonic KX-TG4733B DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone but none to be found.
I need a loud speaker phone. Does this unit have a loud speakerphone . Do. they list the db? And is it full duplex?
It's not 3 years later, how had the phone held up? Does the cell pairing still work?

Does the answering machine have a two way record feature. So you can record a phone call?
I have not seen that option anywhere. As far as I can tell, you can only record a greeting.
Let’s say I don’t have a landline service but I just wanted to use my cell phone for the phones. Would I still be able to accept calls? Also would I be able to call out on the house phone through my cellphone that I have connected?
Hi Corey, I just got this same phone system about a week ago. Yes, you can use this system without having a landline. (We don’t have one.). However, the answering machine only works with a landline. Unanswered cell phone calls will go to the usual Voicemail in your cell phone. You can use this system to answer calls from up to 2 cell phones in the household, and you can also call out. You will name one of the phones “Cell Phone 1” and the other one will be “Cell Phone 2”. Both cell phones can be used at the same time with this system, although I haven’t tried that yet! Hope this helps!

From what I've heard you can cut the land line and use just Bluetooth.

Incoming cell phone calls are announced just like incoming land line calls and can be answered, of course. If they are not answered, the answering machine turns on for the land line calls, but the cell phone system voice mail turns on for the cell phone calls. In other words, to my knowledge at least, the Panasonic answering machine does not record cell phone messages.
Question: If my cell phone is connected to PANASONIC LINK2CELL and that cell line is the only line active. In other words there is no landline, just one one dedicated cell line connected to Linktocell answering system. In that case, will the answering machine register or receive voice mail massages?
It is supposed to work fully with no landline. That is one reason we bought it. We do have a landline now, but might drop it in the future and didn't want to be stuck with a phone system that no longer works.
Thanks for quick reply. I tried with cell phone connected and on . I am getting massages but not in the main answering system. It goes to my cell phone mailbox instead of the base of answering machine. Am I doing something wrong? I want to get the massage in the AM.

We bought new KX-TGE270 we have connected the phone yet shows Base no power. We have changed the battery still it shows BASE NO POWER. Can anyone solve this problem? Jamal

How did you set up the answering machine?
You hit the button access the menu (can be done on any of the handsets)]
then hit the down arrow (in the center button) until it says "Answering Device" - hit select
then hit the down arrow until it says "Greeting"
then hit select and it will say "record greeting"
and it will offer other options

I did that and now I realize the ring count plays a role in it too with the phone providers and such. That was the problem for me because I turned on everything else. Thanks for the advice and I got it all figured out!

I forget to check mine - only happens when I'm on the line, but does happen occasionally.

You can disconnect it and reconnect it.
If you will not be using the paired cellular phone’s link to cell feature temporarily (for example, you do not want the unit to ring when your cellular line receives a call), you can disconnect your cellular phone from the base unit. If you want to use it again, reconnect the cellular phone to the base unit.Note:After you disconnect a paired cellular phone from the base unit manually, it will automatically be connected to the base unit in 30 minutes. If you do not use the link to cell feature anymore, unpair the cellular phone.A disconnected cellular phone is not unpaired from the base unit, so pairing it to the base unit again is unnecessary.

That looks like a good phone - I'm not sure the one in the review is any better.
The manufacturers make it confusing by offering so many different models. I think what you ordered is the latest mode in that line. The unit actually has a better look to it.

This has the worst sound, I can't understand anyone who is calling me. The are always garbled on all 6 phones. Horrible.
Something is wrong - our sound is perfectly clear - the only criticism I have regarding sound is that the voice mail messages are sometimes not are clear as they could be. Either you system is defective or maybe there is some interference from something - not sure, but maybe you can contact a rep from Panasonic to troubleshoot it.
Just can't focus in the review can we try with a no so beauty girl 😝😁
