I am a nephrologist and kidney doctor who believes that the best tool to reduce the burden of kidney disease globally is not medication, lab tests, or even genetics research. Instead, knowledge of kidney disease can best protect our kidneys.
This channel is part of the kidney disease awareness project I have worked on for years. It started with long conversations with kidney patients in the office and hospital. During these conversations, I was perplexed to see patients’ lack of knowledge about their kidney disease.
To fill this gap, I developed a blog for kidney disease patients, “Kidneyblogs.com,” where patients could find the correct information-and access a nephrologist for kidney-related questions. But then, I realized that not all Urdu- and Hindi-speaking patients could read English, and many preferred listening. This revelation led to the formation of the UA-cam channel you will explore.

I have seen neph in both govt and private clinics and the dr is always in a rush. They hardly have time to listen to patients concerns . It leaves the patient feeling unheard and then we doubt the prescription given so hastily.

I am suffering from nephrotic syndrome for almost 8 years. My creatinine and eGFR throughout normal Allahamdullah expect 2 times for almost 1 month. but protein in urine is present continuous. Currently i am taking 2xcyclosporine 100mg + BP medication. did i get right medication to stop protein?
Agar ap ka protein band ho gaya hai tu it was right medicine. Agar nahi tu you need to change the medicine. Check karo kay ap ka protein trarget level say neechay aya hai kay nahi.
