Modelo is my go to beer. Never had Dos Equis, but Corona is good too. Corona has a certain “lead” flavor that I can’t really get over, so that’s why i tend to turn to Modelo. More bready, a bit thicker, the head is more pillowy and less packing peanut. Another go-to of mine is Stella Artois.

I like my beer with some body to it. Which is why I hate Bud light. Bud light tastes like carbonated water to me. No flavor or body. I've never tried Dos Equis but Corona first and then Modelo
Mexican beer is the best there is. By far the most crisp and refreshing. If people tell you they like IPAs and all those flat, sour, taste like it’s expired by the last quarter of the bottle/can/cup then they’re lying to you because they’re trendy.
My favorite beer when I'm in TJ is Indio, my favorite in SoCal is Sculpin IPA. Maybe you just need to try better IPAs? The market has kinda become saturated with mediocre ones.
