    I wish all how-to videos were this well done. I did not need to fast-forward and that's a plus. It covers all the necessary details and that's another plus.

    That Milwaukee ratchet worked nice, that space was TIGHT TOO, NICE TOOL to go along with your 1/2 impact.

    Power tools make things so much simpler. That job wouldn't have taken long either way but still extra work is extra work.

    What’s that piece called that you took the 4 bolts from? Mine is cracked. Not the first air intake but the piece with the bolts, thanks for the video bro

      BARRICADE GARAGE thank you, do you think a crack on this piece could cause a lean condition code?

    • @barricadegarage5361
      @barricadegarage5361  4 роки тому +1

      @@manuelsalgado8510 no its possible though, lean condition means youre not getting enough fuel so that also be a problem with your fuel delivery system. Check for any cracked or damaged vacuum lines or hoses and any leaks at thr throttlebody

      1970chevelle396 how long it take you?

    • @1970chevelle396
      @1970chevelle396 5 років тому +1

      It took over an hour to replace it and the belt. There hard to get to on the 6.0 because of the way the fan shroud is.

    What ever it is they use at the factory to grease those things is made of very poor quality. Plus the fact they use as few ball bearings as they can get away with. Roller bearings would imho been the ticket. Most (9out of 10) times it's the pulley that goes bad on the tensioner and they can be unbolted and replaced. Just had both go out on a 2009 E250 4.6L Van and took those seals off the bearings an gave them a look see sure enough the grease was like wax more like a crayon than any kind of wax. I've found that sealed bearings can be re-greased and the deal is to remove those seals extremely careful and hand pack em. The new one out of the box was stiff! Brings to mind a shop book written in Britain that said...use judicious manipulation.
