When you say machine dry what heat setting you using ? My weight and height is exactly the same as yours so I plan to get a A2 too. And I wanna use the dryer because I just don't got time to hang dry it. But I really don't want to shrink it too much from the dryer.
Will this Gi shrink and is it a "true size"? I'm 5'10" 175-180lbs so I would normally fit into an A2 but I've gotten their basic 100% cotton gi in a size A3 in the past. After some washing and drying, the Gi shrunk to an almost perfect size A2 fit. I guess the question is, should I repeat this, or just go ahead and get the A2? Thanks and great review.
After repeated cold washes and machine dries, the wingspan shrunk about an inch and a half, and the pants did the same. You're an A3 in the Sekai sizing chart, so I'd go with the A3 if I were you.
BJJ Warehouse yup, I went with the A3, washed and dry it once (pants for half the time, top full dryer cycle) and now fits very nice. Now I will just air dry it from here on. This gi is beautiful and feels great, one of the best gi I've own for the price, glad I went for it, thanks again.
+BJJ Warehouse I'm at the bottom end of the A5 sizing chart. But I'm only 5'11 ( 260 ) muscular build. Should I go with the A5 and just got dry the pants?
Vinnie Vin, I'm around 5'11 - 6' and 160 lbs. I think A2 will be too short for me. When you shrink the A3 does it shrink well in all direction? It will be shorter but I wonder if it'll be too baggy.
Excelente kimono
I love the vulkan ultra light gi's as they breathe well and I don't feel like I'm wearing a carpet. Is this comparable to the Vulcans?
Great review!when the GI is worn is already washed?
