Kudos to you for your efforts, but to call the Durbar Sahib/Harimandir Sahib the Golden Temple would be wrong. Something that is Spiritual has been turned into a materialistic building
Guess every Sikh is on the chart because each one of them is son/daughter of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
(I have sacrificed my four sons. So what if my four sons are dead, when thousands are alive)
- Dhan Guru Gobind Singh ❤️
I also remember Guru Gobind Singh Ji on Farher’s Day as he was the greatest father ever who gave his four of his own sons for the greater good of mankind and called every other Sikh as his sons too. He gave his four sons and never complained, he did this for good of mankind regardless of your religion, caste, etc. He did all that and had to sleep in rough jungles, so unselfish and visionary.

Guru Nanak once stated:
“Even Kings and emperors with heaps of wealth and vast dominion cannot compare with an ant filled with the love of God.”
@CIA the implication is that the ant is actually the wealthy one.
@CIA it's just that there is more value in God's love. While people may value status and power, the Guru honours those who love God instead. Ant is used to say that even those who might be regarded insignificant and powerless are valuable to the Guru if they have the love of the divine in their hearts.
@CIA value of belongings and ownings. If Muslims were ruled by an ant filled with love for God, we would make wonders. Instead, Saudis and Emiratis have money
@CIA Ant can here be interpreted as humble people who earn a honest life, unlike political rulers who own worldly pleasures still couldn't be free of wanting more.
it's a great statement. just like the christian alternative: It's easier to move a camel throuth the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to cross the gates of heaven.
power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutetly. and so does money....

2:27 Contrary to popular belief Muslims in India and South Asia in general do have a limited caste system in the form of separation between Ashraf (who claim to be descendants of muslims who came to India from abroad or converts from dominant castes such as Rajputs), Ajlafs (who are considered to be local converts from "lower-castes") and Arzals (who are converts from the "untouchable"/dalit castes). The Arzals continue to be engaged mostly in their traditional caste jobs and continue to face heavy discrimination (to the extent that many of them like the Chuhras are not allowed to go past the steps of a Mosque) just like their Hindu dalit counterparts. While Ashrafs have a clerical monopoly and are comparable to the Brahmins in hinduism. This sort of lingering effect of caste system exists among South Asian Christians too but in a different manner. Most social reform, social justice and anti-caste movements in India before and after independence mostly ignored non-hindu dalits because of which affirmative action and reservation in India only applies to Hindu, Buddhist, and Sikh Dalits and OBCs, though there have been more recent calls to include even Muslim and Christian converts in the reservation system.

@@MandeepSingh-bv2zw bro, im interested in knowing more about your ancestors...
@@realharrysingh brother, as per my elders, our ancestor - Baba Harjas Rai (a Minhas Rajput) - was a Misaldar of a Rajput Misl in Kashmir. It is entirely possible that a diff terminology was used for a military commander of Kashmiri Rajput armies, but "misl" and "misaldar" are words often used by my elders in the context of Baba Harjas and his army. It is said he helped Maharaja Ranjeet Singh in an expedition and was rewarded by being granted the land where Daroli Kalan today is. If I remember correctly, Daroli Kalan village had 2 main parts - Dhirowal and Jagirpur. There used to be a sign board in the village directing ppl towards those 2 diff parts of Daroli. One of those parts (dont remember which one but can confirm frm dad) was where Baba Harjas's family (maybe extended family) settled. My great grandfather was the Assistant Accountant General of Kashmir during British times (early 1900s I think). Our ancestral house is still in Daroli Kalan along with a few other houses of that time which were referred to as "Kashmiriyan de Ghar" back in the day. The present structure was built around 1930. My father's cousin who hails from Chukhiara is also a descendant of a military commander, some say Baghel Singh, but that is disputed as Baba Baghel Singh ji is often referred to as a Jatt in historical docs I think, but as per what we have been told, Baghel Singh ji moved to (resided) an area inhabited by Jatts and is referred to as such in historical texts. Whatever the truth be, my dad's cousin's family had a small Quila in Chukhiara (which I believe was present till the 1980s) and ppl referred to their family as Quille wale. Forgot to add: My grandfather - Capt Umrao Singh was a world war II veteran who saw action in Burma and was in charge of a Japanese POW camp. All in all, pretty interesting to hear all this from elders 🙂

I notice you gloss over how the great Guru Arjan Dev was slaughtered. Are you a Muslim in disguise? Or a Muslim apologist? Be brave. Describe how Arjan Dev, Teg Bahadur, Ajit Singh, Zorawar Singh, Fateh Singh, Jhojhar Singh, and the great Gobind Singh fought on! I salute my Sikh brothers. Sat Sri Alak!!
I’m a Sikh and I’m over it but it was truly a tragedy. Guru said to move on and always become a better human being and forgive others, and yes al muqaddimah is a Muslim. Do you not watch his videos? You’re saying he’s a Muslim in disguise like it’s a crime.

Why you called Hinduism had caste system? Is this applies to Indian Hinduism or what? I could not understand why in first place called it as Hinduism. When I was born there was no Hindusim here in Nepal but there was Sanatana Dharma only and perhaps it’s same in India too. And why there was no any caste system when I was child and we Hindus in Nepal didn’t have any caste word also. Who are you to call it caste? And if your are referring our Varna System as Caste then you all the most uneducated people I would like to say.
Your false narrative is causing problem here in Nepal and Varna is being mistaken as Caste and could see ppl saying the same narrative of upper cast and lower cast which is prevalent in India and this narrative spreading in Nepal which is making anti-Sanatana ppl or say anti-Hindu ppl attacking.
Please read Rigveda and Geetas like Astabakra Gita (Janaka Geeta) Bhagvata Geeta, Narad Geeta, etc which clearly will give meaning.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji was a true saint who taught a supreme knowledge to seek for a true living saint but in Sikhs also ppl are more focused on him than His true form.
I have a huge respect towards him but my sayings was we all forgot what was taught and we are again defining in our own way.
I am sorry if this hurts anybody sentiments as this is a sensitive topic for somebody. But, I am tried of seeing ppl misleading the actual meaning (the the topic of this video is not like this, since he tires to explains in his way so I have commented on that only)
lol,
I 've spent 7 years in Nepal and Nepal also have caste system like in India ,
not terrible like India but Nepal do have caste system .
from scripture caste system shouldn't exist But It did and it always does .
still Many Old Bhramins don't even Drink water Touched by the people which they think are lower cast .
so stop denying
@@abed9267 Not all parts of Nepal but yes there exists. May I know which part of Nepal you had lived it will give me an idea. Note: Nepal is the only country where no any bloodshed had been recorded due to ethnic clashes but yes small so called disputes were there.
See, caste system doesn’t makes sense and there is nothing like upper cast and lower cast in Nepal however Damai, Kami, Sarki, Brahmana is there but more than Brahmin’s untouchability there is more discrimination among so called lower classes (if I borrow your word); There are also two Brahmin; so called Uphadhya (who discriminates unlike Jaise Brahmin who does not discriminate).
In old days Jaise Brahmin were the top most Brahmins but these days Upahadya Brahmins self claim them to be upper caste).
They both are brahmins and Kshetris are the same siblings.
From here also you can understand, these are based on Profession or Varna not Caste. But sadly, so called media including UA-camrs who also read books written by some nonsensical persons believes and then they do the same narrative whereas real meaning remains in the Dark.
In West, Teachers are treated very well and respected so as the Brahmins here in Nepal.
They treat Kings, Presidents, Soldiers with some nationalism so does we do to Kings, Rastrapati, Pradhan Mantri, Kshatriyas.
The way they treat Kitchen workers, say food makers, book printers, we treat the same to Vaishya,
The way they treat nuclear power plants workers, drainage cleaner, social workers, prostitution, chemical wastage managers so we treat to Shudra.
Here Shudras are untouchable so as the ppl working in mines, chemical factories, nuclear power plants; so they need to be cleansed either by distilled water or by Gold water (which it was much relevant in Nepal) .
This is our understanding and there are other spiritual aspects which I had not mentioned here.
@@abed9267 Not all Hindus practice caste system. Cham Hindus do not practice Caste System nor do Balinese. Some groups in India/Nepal do not practice Caste System. In Bengal people did not practice caste system for most of History it was only the Sena who were non-Bengali asserted the caste system in the area.
Haha, Cast system (Manu) + Brahmanism= Hinduism
@@chamkaur3430 Nonsense! Varna is not a of neither Sanatana Dharna nor Hinduism but a tradition and Caste is of French not our which comes from Portuguese casta and Spanish castus which means lineage or breed which in Omkar Religion like Hinduism, Shikishim, Jainism is called Gotra system
"I'm over it" lmao
And love your voice dude.
2:27 hindu society didn't had rigid cast systems
Ex: Yadavs was in kshtriye varna but now they are in vaish varna
British changed the nature of varna systems into cast system and made it rigid during colonial era
Appreciate the good work (except certain nuances dropped here and there)👍👍👍. Overall good presentation.

Singh means tiger and Kaur means eldest prince in Sikhism
There was a muslim king of a region who helped Guru Gobind Singh in a war in Punjab and was blessed by him. His family still exists today
Singh mean lion not Tiger
@@meggofextension7472 if you are seriously interested in knowing the meaning of Singh in Sikhism then read Dasam Granth, Bansavalinama and Mahan Kosh
@Saahil Dhown this is a popular belief and no one has ever picked up the topic to explain it to the masses. But you see, you aren't literate enough in sikh literature to question me. If you seriously want to tell me what does Singh and Kaur means then ready the above mentioned books and then tell me what do you think about it.
@Saahil Dhown the info in the books above ain't any story, they are self written books by prominent Sikhs just after guru govind singh ji and Guru Govind Singh Ji himself
@Saahil Dhown I don't know about other religions texts but our Guru Granth Sahib Ji is full of science and many undiscovered sciences. Taking inspiration from Guru Granth Sahib Ji NASA has commissioned it in one of it's centers. For an example a stanza in Guru Granth Sahib Ji states that from the fear of God, moon shifts from its location, earth shifts from its location and even sun shifts from its location and this was stated by our gurus 500 years ago before any invention of telescope.

I am quite surprised to see a Muslim narrating Sikh history. Here in India, Sikhs are closer to Hindus compared to Muslims due to the legacy of Aurangzeb & Pakistan.
Not only due to that legacy. Almost all Punjabi Hindus and Sikhs have family members of both religions in their family trees. This is because Hindu Punjabis raised their eldest male child as a Sikh to respect the Sikh Gurus and their sacrifices.

All the Sikh gurus were Hindus with their Hindu names none was Sikh. The last Guru Govind Singh stopped this, bogus Guru Pratha as none of them was a Guru in real terms. All were brave warriors except Nanak. Nanak was doubtful about existence of Bhagwan and used to criticize Sanatan Dharma, till his old age. But in his old age he became devotee of Lord Krishna and wrote many bhajans in His glory. Now Sikhism has no Shastras. It is not a Dharma but only a Mat or Ism inside Hindu Dharma.
