Another thing the supposed to be Khalsa is too busy with is Bhangra practice, the latest punjabi film from harbhajan mann, and punjabi songs that boost people's egos about their caste so they feel special and encourage the dead end road of alcohol by equating it with bravery and being a real man etc. when all it leads to is a pot belly and cirrhosis later on life. Every other patient in punjabs hospitals is dying from alcohol induced cirrhosis. At this rate the Bhangra industry and the punjabi film industry will raj with the money they scrape from the punjabi youth. And the Khalsa is left to the way side, guru nanaks mission of dharam becomes abandoned

About the rehit thing: RS folk have 4 rules as a code of conduct:
* Lacto-vegetarian diet only (karma, bro).
* No drugs or alcohol (need a clear mind for meditation).
* Live a highly moral lifestyle (no stealing/cheating/lying, again to lessen karma).
* Meditate for 2.5 hours every day, preferably at 5am.
The idea is that by practicing meditation (Surat Shabd Yoga), the soul can merge with the Shabd and is lifted by the Inner Guru and is taken to the inner spiritual realms where the seat of Sat Purush can be known. If you want more information about Sant Mat in general, I seriously recommend watching Ishwar Puri's videos on UA-cam.
Also, you don't need to give them any money at all, Naam is given freely and you can borrow the reading material.

I do not think there is anything wrong with following the Radha Soami Sant Mat path because the philosophy is very similar to the Guru Granth Sahib. As a matter of fact, Sant Mat says that regardless of one's religion, God is to be realized from within. This crucial statement applies for all individuals based on the past teachings of the saints and mystics.

@Navneet Singh. Reena Gautam is correct. You need a Living Master - not a book. Sat Nam put a Living Master on this planet at all times for people who wish to go back to The Father. There were several successors in the line of Guru Nanak - because - there is a need for a Living Master. Each Living Master followed the previous Living Master. Nanak once was not a Guru. Nanak was once a satsangi - an initiate - who sat in the satsang circle of His Living Master of the time. His (Nanaks) Living Master then appointed him as a Guru. When Guru Nanak Died He appointed a successor.

Good teachings very much needed in Punjab where youth is trapped into drugs, levish lifestyle, modern pop songs culture, some says even Christianity also spreading in Punjab. True teachings are required. Radha Swami is different sect altogether from Sikkhism. That doesn't mean it is bad. All path leads to one Almighty God.

To Clarify, based on your experience Radha Soami's don't have restriction, but they are expected by their Guru to meditate atleast 2.5 hr a day and to be true that is not easy either.

@@nsk1852 most of the Sikhs nowadays don’t follow the Guru Granth Sahib Ji at all. They discriminate against other religions, drink alcohol, eat meat, and don’t meditate. Radha Soami preaches against these things and preaches to meditate, which is what all our Gurus said. Their babas are not God or anywhere close to Guru, but simple teachers to bring the message of Guru Nanak back and spread it out more to other religions.

For us sikhs all we need is our gurus teachings about the 1 almighty and these are all present in our living guru, regardless of some not following its their journey to find sikhi in this way and basics of sikhi helps people do that.

Our Gurus have taught us different, and yet Sikhs still make cow jokes and Allah jokes towards Hindus and Muslims. Sikhs still eat meat and drink alcohol. I’m saying this because I personally know of many people who went to a Satsang for Radha Soami and completely abandoned drinking and meat and started to meditate as that’s what they preach. I myself am not a Radha Soami, but I think they are misunderstood and they aren’t doing anything wrong. They let people from all religions in and portray the message of Guru Nanak to all of them, of everyone being equal regardless of caste religion and race, of One Creator, and of meditation. Most people only don’t like Radha Soami bcuz their followers treat their Guru as an enlightened being, despite him telling them not to. They do this because he helped fix their lives. Radha Soami says nothing that goes against the Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj, and all it does is mostly help lost Sikhs back on their path . What’s the point of Sikhs claiming to follow Guru Granth Sahib yet doing everything the Gurus said not to , Radha Soami helps them. And Basics of Sikhi are good but there are some aspects of theirs that are wrong . Such as when they say people that are Muslim and stuff can’t reach God, which isn’t what our Gurus preached. Radha Soami says everyone can reach God regardless of religion, which is what our Gurus preached.

Say I don't take Amrit (like wear a kirpan or distar and don't do regular path, However I still try to do the Panj Paorya (stairs) every morning and do Naam simran whenever I get a chance and try to do seva....Do I still count as Sikh or part of the Khalsa?
Well no, you would be a Sikh but not a Khalsa, a Khalsa is Amritdhari, Kakkardhari, and Rehatvaan.

The purpose of the video was to distinguish Sikhism from RS. Jagraaj did this in the first few minutes by discussing the Shabad, Panth and Nirgun as requisite beliefs for a Sikh. He stated that RS do not share these beliefs and as such, RS and Sikhism are distinct from one another, clearly. He went on to speak anecdotally regarding his meeting with an RS... but by that point the distinction had already been made. There are many reasons Sikhs are suspicious of RS
- Where did this religion come from? And why did it proliferate rapidly during the latter part of British Raj?
- How have RS been able to acquire so much prime land in India?
- The founder of RS did not take the appearance of a Gursikh.. why do the current RS baba’s do so?
- Sikhs believe that the ideology conveyed within the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is to be worshipped. RS take a reductionist view and claim Sikhs are worshipping the pages and the ink of a book, just as a pagan might worship an idol. A tactic used to discredit the sanctity of the Gurshabad and pull uneducated Sikhs away from the panth and towards Baes (wallets and bank account details in hand).
I have listened to the RS Baba’s sermons... he is extremely intelligent, but so too are millions of other people.. If he were the true Guru, then surely he would be affecting massive change in society now, just as Guru Nanak did... if he is the sat guru why doesn’t he challenge tyranny and evil head on like Guru Gobind Singh did? Guru Gobind Singh sacrificed his 4 sons for truth and for humanity. The RS baba’s son just got married into one of the richest families in Hong Kong... rich families only marry into other rich families. Whilst Punjab is in a poor state, the RS baba is playing capitalist.
In truth RS didn’t even stand up for the rights of people left suffering after the riots of 1984 (even victims within the RS community). If the RS baba is the sat Guru, surely he would be presenting something new instead of paraphrasing passages from the Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the Bible, the Q’uaran, the Vedas, etc... If you will call him the Guru then he must be measured to the same standards as the Guru’s of Sikhi. He doesn’t quite measure up...
Here is a theory:
RS was created, it was a small independent religion founded by someone who did not identify with Sikhi
During the Raaj the British recognised the Sikhs were a threat. Thousands of British soldiers were massacred during the Anglo Sikh Wars (Winston Churchill underplayed all British defeats in the colonies but even he documented the great human losses suffered by the British during the Anglo Sikh Wars)
The British, clever as they were decided to use the old divide and conquer tactic to weaken the Sikhs further by creating splinter groups within the faith. They found an obscure religion, RS and incentivised it’s leaders to take on the appearance of a Gursikh, and to preach a non martial religion with similarities to Sikhi so that gullible, uneducated Sikhs may be enticed to follow. RS were not the only ones... the British created several others too. Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale laid waste to some, but RS became elusive. They had the protection of the government and went underground in the 70s
Now RS still exist, they have a huge amount of money and power. The
Baba lives in the shadows. Photography is not allowed in his presence. The belief in a human guru is precluded by a belief that truth is an objective reality for all. That the human Gurus word is true for all. The Sikh Gurus were enlightened. They recognised that the truth can be a subjective reality for each human being. They knew that when reading the Sri Guru Granth Sahib and reciting Gods name the truth would be revealed to the reader as a function of their interpretation, experience, condition and subjective reality. This is why they installed the Guru Granth Sahib as the eternal Guru. RS is not Sikhism, I would urge anybody who is being enticed to join RS to do their research and to read the Sri Guru Granth Sahib. They pray on vulnerable weak minded people do not be one of them.

My family is Sikh and I disagree with you on certain points you made above.
It was first founded in 1861 or something when Sikhs wasn't a threat but an ally.
Even if you Sikhisam, it wasn't martial inclinations till 6th guru came and We sikh for some reason don't focus much on non martial, spiritual part. Also the founder of RSSB was follower of Nanak, so the founding belief are releted to early sikhisam.
There are many Sindhi, Nanakpanthi, Hindu Punjabi follow the early teaching of sikh gurus and Nanak in peeticuler and aren't considred sikh, but I see no wrong in that. If you try to get an essance of Nanak words for means, what's wrong in that? As Nanak said truth is universal, no matter who says it. So why we say We abuse RSSB if they teach Nanak words?
What is dhindriya walla doing, there are other form of cult, they tell thier subjective interpretation for everything under the sky and I feel thats also in way not very diffrent from RSSB.
Radha soami is not a religion to begin with it is a way of living where individual practice and attend to his meditation daily and do not intake any products containing meat and alchohol do not earn money through wrong means and do seva and simran. It does own a lot of land and it has been proven why in the times of need in corona where they helped lakhs of people for free as seva. As far as the 1984 movement I know most of u all aren't familiar with the charitable hospital cuz they do not show off like most, of their good deeds .They have helped millions of injured people for free. Radha soami society had also helped people during Pakistan and india partition irrespective of their caste and religion and provide many shelter and uncountable people food or packed hot meals at the Beas station for free
They have helped and made numerous organizations to help humanity but never once bragged about it. And according to you even if the organization is misleading people at the end they are praising and worshipping god not the real master as 17years of being radha soami the master has never once called himself god or anything he just says he is the servant of god and relaying his message.
I seriously don't know since when well educated officers like Lieutenant Colonel, Major General, Oxford graduated Heart surgeon, Chief Surgeon of Punjab and many more became pray to vulnerable of being manipulated and do seva at dera. Quite amusing to me tbh.

You may have heard at some point a shabad in which it is mentioned "Vaah, Vaah, Gobind Singh jee, Aapae Gur Chela," praising Guru Gobind Singh as both the Guru and the Follower (of the Khalsa Panth/Panj Piaare, after he initiated it.

I want point out something as a radha soami the "prescription " he was talking about is doing attending to our meditation daily. We do have some rules we have to follow to never intake alchohol and meat products ( harming any living being for our desires) and living a righteous life with hak halal ki kamai or earning with right means only .

Is it not true thatShri guru nanak Dev ji was a physical living master of their time and people started following his holyness spritual teachings.? Granth means the collection of verses or statements made by mystics .
Sahib means the ultimate being that is the God . About whom all the mystics teaches us..
Thus the meaning of Guru Granth Sahib is The preachings of the living mystics collected all together for the sake of showing the ideal path to the diciples or the believers .
Last sikh guru told Guru maniyo Granth . It seems to me based on my research means whatever living mater's tell you in anytime or anyplace or of any religion but he shud be perfect living master like guru nanak Dev ji or other sikh gurus consider his teaching or preaching as the same of this Granth. Also guru grant sahib itself seaks about the SHABAD the dhunatmak sound .

Guru Gobind singh ji couldve passed the guruship to a physical being if the SGGS was just words. The SGGS is the eternal guru. The words inside are the explainations and guidance of life that allow a human to release ego and serve others with god in mind.
When you have a physical ‘guru’, you run the risk of their own ego and interpretations affecting the understanding.
The SGGS is living in the sense that waheguru is talking to us.

The Khalsa Panth and Guru Granth Sahib share Guruship. The Panj Pyare are considered the Gurus very form also, and commands from the Panj pyare are like commands from Guru Gobind Singh Himself, this is our form of government that the Guru blessed us with,, but sikhs don't know about it, or don't recognize it today, especially after the British pushed the Khalsa out of the punjab. Guru Khalsa (5pyare) are the body, and Guru Granth Sahib is the soul. Even Guru Gobind Singh takes commands from 5 pyare, ie when He was given Anmrit and intiated into Panth Khalsa, and when asked to leave Chamkaur Sahib by 5 Pyare

you cant become an Anmrit dhari Singh without the Panj Pyare, you need Guru Khalsa as much as you need Guru Granth Sahib, Dasam Granth (from which more than half Anmrit-making bani comes from). That's why the Guru Granth and Guru Khalsa are both Guru, there would be no Khalsa without either. your particular train of thought is going to finish off the Khalsa Panth faster than you can say 'the indian govt won,' no one will have sharda for Guru Khalsa, and slowly no one will have sharda for Guru Granth Sahib either, which is already being seen with the advent of nirankaris, radha soamis, fake sacha sauda, ravi dasia etc...and people of punjab actually following them. it was the sharda for the 5 pyare that went down first, then Guru Granth Sahib, both complement each other, they are one in the same

This teacher is actually correct as I believe he says that Rhada Soami are not Sikhs. Radha Soamis do not claim to be ! He says he met a Rahda Soami once ! So how would he know so much about it ? Rhada Soami followers come from all over the world and many have no connection whatsoever to Sikhism. It just happens that the present master (guru) that at least I follow comes from the Sikh tradition. People often continue to follow family and cultural traditions. I would observe that tradition is a very powerful thing for Indian people. Not so much in the West and large numbers of the followers of Rahda Soami are westerners who have never been anywhere near a Gudwhara (sorry don't know how to spell that) I follow Rahda Soami and come from the Christian Tradition. I find no conflict with the tradition that I grew up in, but then again in more western societies we have more freedom of thinking , well very generally speaking! Rhada Soami followers come from China, USA, Europe, the UK, France, Africa, Australia, it is a world wide Universal movement. I can see that this might be confusing to people who do not understand and so can see the need to perhaps try to explain this to Sikh people. I think the Sikh religion is a wonderful religion, as are many others, there is no need for competition. I would just like to add though that following Sant Mat (Rhada Soami) is not easy. Two and a half hours minimum of meditation is undertaken every day (not chanting ) it is silent meditation, done alone. The Guru does not whisper in anyone's ear, teaching is done loud and clear in any normal way. Followers of Sant Mat live to very high moral standards, no drink, drugs , or eating of animal products or eggs, a scrupulously honest and moral life must be led. Just clarifying a few points! Best wishes to all the Sikhs, a wonderful religion to be greatly admired !! Please don't anyone comment more on this, I will not be replying anymore.

However, your opinion is not shared by most Punjabi Radha Soami's originating from the Sikh tradition. Identity politics are important in India, Sikh's are acutely aware of external actors making attempts to dilute the Sikh faith into other traditons, may that be Hinduism, Christianity, Radha Soami or another, this skeptical view is well founded if you consider attacks on Sikhism since partition. Hey. Lets do a simple experiment. There is a machine called SQUID Machine which measures subtle magnetic fields. Now lets put Guru Granth Sahib Ji in that machine and we will check the output. Then we will put any random book in that machine and will again check the reading. I can bet there would not be any minutest difference between both the reading. which proves that there is no spiritual current flowing through GGS. But what if we put the same machine on a Living Guru? The results would be very different not only from the previous reading but if compared to any other normal human. Hence it is proved that it is only a living Guru through Spiritual Current can flow has flown through centuries and will flow for the centuries to come.

I studied when I was young in sirsa and took naam from them once as a sikh I had no knowledge abt sikhi.but once waheguru enlightened me I left that cult. They are doing some gud things overall as helping poor etc but they are brain washing sikhs that there is no power in sikhi and radha soami was is the best way.they even said to me saying waheguru will not enlighten me its there naam that will enlighten me. I would say its our own fault that we don't know about sikhi.ppl are confused and looking for right way. very nice when I first came into sikhi these are groups that came into my research they seem to have a lot of influence against Sikhs with the ravidassia and namdhari they are groups that are most effecting the Sikhs but my personal view is that these groups are created by those to divide the Sikhs like how nirankri were trying to do but failed in the 1980s

meditation is sikhi.

dhun refers to anhad naad, which is etenal sound, called word of GOD in english. it can be heard and resides inside body. naunidh amrit prabh ka naam, dehi mei iska bisram.
dhyan is meditation. when we meditate and listen to anhad bani, we learn the way to GOD, as described by gurbani. spiritually, we follow the path, which is written in physical written form in SGGS.

Most people just go to building and assume that it will lead to moksya, which is wrong.

gurus were not mere humans. they had merged with naam, GOD. and they told us, the GURU will always be guru granth sahib.
i dont have a problem with people preaching about guru granth sahib, but to call yourself guru, in presence of SGGS is blasphemy.

you can't be serious? gurbani says---nau nidh amrit prabh ka naam, dehi mei iska bisram. how can a person give naam, when it resides in our body? GURUji's in their lifetime made sikhs meditate and naam appeared(as in they could hear it),so did amrit.a truly enlightened person will tell you that. but false ones will do drama of preaching but will lead people astray, because they will always do something not compatible with SGGS. i do meditate and can hear naam. and know many who meditate too.
RS is a total fraud. very soon he will too be behind bars like ram rahim.

This is my personal opinion that Guru nanak dev ji was great man of god and they also give naam to the people.

naam is heard, amrit is tasted inside the body(IT is sweet like batasha in water, the one given in physical form). but naam is the 1st step. amrit-when you merge with GOD.

all GURUS showed people the the way to meditation, when it is said, they gave--naam. they don't give like giving a physical object, but in their sangat, you meditate enough to reach naam.ie they helped you to reach naam. it will always be your mehnat in reaching it.

just few days before i had a talk with a white british person, who said he could have out of body experience.
i gave him explanation thru gurbani, that he is in an advanced stage.
if such a person comes to RS, he could never explain what is going on. he doesn't even have basic knowledge of naam. forget the rest of the path.
as per law, what he is doing, he can't be punished, but he is misleading many.
but when RS are misleading people, it is easy to be mislead yourself.
and as for indian politics, if he renders himself useless, he will be in jail. until then he garners votes for political parties.

sikhi was always a separate path since guru nanak.hence the term sikh. even sindhi sikhs who have cut their hair, follow only SGGS(they are not khalsa, but sikhs). GURU nanak rejected janeu when he was 5.
a maulvi tried teaching him counting. ik, do and so on. GURU nanak said, pehla ek da matlab te das as in GOD is one, how to reach HIM?
sikhi was always separate, but included saints as they had already merged with GOD.
when you merge with GOD, religion does not matter.
when you try telling me, some other religions are telling the same, sure, but many other practices are also included which are total opposite of bhkti marg. hence the difference.

follow sikhi/bhkti/sufi marg, no idol worship, no sunnat, no hajj.etc. all these are, forgive me, karam kaand (yes , i know some sikhs are going in karam kaand, but sikhi was never that).
manas ki jaat eke pechanbo-- because in bhkti marg, you can not have ego. all humans are part of the same parbhram, even if they dont follow what you know to be true, does not mean you put them down or consider yourself special. this is the real meaning of this.

Funny thing is Rhada soamis follow the teachings of the SGGS Ji and most of the particular sections you have mentioned have been taught to me via their satsangs and I would never be able to go to the Gurdwara and understand that from there not saying going to the gurdwara and listening to the Kirtan or scriptures is wrong because I do it. Also the man whom is Rhada soami that you spoke to is Un educated and gave you inaccurate information also some of the information you provide in this talk about Rhada soamis is inaccurate if you do seek correct answers please ask and I can help you have a better understanding in what we believe before you are able to compare and contrast. I would never tell u not the next man to walk past that their faith is wrong I may think that but what they believe good bad wrong or right is entirely their choice

@@avisingh3738 their is nothing wrong or different in both of the teachings rather both are just telling the human to listen to the dhun or spiritual harmonies of instruments and light coming from his real home from the lord. The main teachings is Self realization before god realization. That is realizing that we are part of that lord our souls are the drop of that immense ocean of love which is our lord and reuniting with him again by listening to the dhun daily and living in his will.

So you need a teacher all your life? The teacher's job is to teach them how to think and contemplate until at certain age. Your actions and the way you contemplate the rest of your life is the main point from Guru Nanak.

Instead of pointless criticism, why dont you offer a counter argument to challenge the conclusions drawn in the video? The video differentiates Sikhism from RS. That is the aim of the video, as described in the title. Do you disagree with the conclusion? I.e. that Sikhism and Radha Soami(ism) are mutually exclusive, independent faiths? That one cannot be both a Sikh and a Radha Soami? For me it is clear, Radha Soami's have abadoned the hukam of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, they are attached to a human who claims to be the Satguru. When in reality, Gurinder Dhillon is just a man, vulnerable to Greed, Lust, Anger, Ego and Attachment like the rest of us. He creates hospital's for the same reason capitalist companies have Corporate Social Responsibility projects. For good press and to disguise their true agenda's. To exploit the vulnerable and to hoard wealth.
Its a very good thing you teaching about sikh religion it helps to another country person to know about Punjab and culture but if you compare that things with another one that will clearly looks wired.
