I feel like riding in an old golf that weighs almost nothing, with a woman who seems to be a great driver would be arguably more fun than a lot of modern race cars.

Big reason I bought a Passat VR6 is because of the sound, I just love the sound those engines make. Really entertaining video. This girl really knows how to drive the Nordschleife!
You can tell a lot of love for the car has been poured into it...then you see the VIN tattoo and it's just a whole other level. Amazing video, great driving.
@@niikon I've noticed, but tbh. it's really not easy on the nordschleife. I'm HnT'ing my car during normal driving just for the fun of it ( and hopefully prolong the life of the drive train ), but on the ring I've struggled. It's quite rare that you need to press the breaking pedal with full or near full force, just very gentle dabs most of the time. Thus I find it very hard to be precise and subtle on the brake and rev-match at the same time.
You did the "take a seat, put on seatbelt, shut up" thing. Then you let Kristel do all the talking. With her Hands and Feet. This ride has me in tears. Well done. More, Kristel, More!

In the Netherlands almost everybody learns to drive in a stick shift car. Even if they buy and drive an automatic later in life. Once you learn to drive stick shift you never unlearn or forget it.
I bought an mk2 on january. I´ve seen a bunch of projects on instagram since then and this one is definitely my favorite. The best looking mk2 ive seen. love the lip and the spoiler. congrats

I hope we will see even more female drivers and cars, often they drive really smooth and dont do anything stupid, just pure fun and alot of joy :D I try very hard to make my amazing women to join me at Nordschleife but its been hard to make it happen with work, kids and everything but now after i show this to her i hope she will be even more excited to make Nurburgring our paradise, not just mine :D Next year my oldest son will have his licence.... cant wait to take him out to the track!! What a dream 😍

When I read Golf VR6 It draw my attention, when the hood got opened and I saw a naturally aspirated VR6 that revs around 7200 rpm ( according to the sound it makes at high rpm) I was really happy😃 I love the VR6 more than any other Engine. I own a 210 hp 3.0 L VR6 my own, and would never change it to forced induction. Big thumbs up for the driving skills! Any it also impressed me that the original Brake Discs are sufficient for the Ring! Awesome!!!🥰

What a great video! I had a smile from side to side the whole time, self built and amazing driving! She just needs to stop feeding the wheel learn how to do heel and toe and Rev match, and boom we get a very charismatic Ringer we all could learn from!

I had a 95 and everyone said they're too heavy , so I removed the back seat and added a small cam, a bigger intake. Car was still a little heavier but made about a little less than 250 horsepower. I wish I still have that car it was my favorite
You just reminded me that I built a Revell Scale Model Mk2 Golf GTi kit when I left school in the 1980s. Great to see the car and lap, I've not driven the VR6 - I looked after an 8v Mk3 GTi and 16v Mk3 GTi in my second job and loved the handling. (Now in a Mk7.5 GT )
I modified my mk2 , back in the early 90s, with a VR6, but the extra weight over the front spoiled the handling of it, but it was worth it for the extra speed and amazing sound! This one looks like it handles somewhat better than mine did🤣 Mine didn’t have power steering either.....good workout 3 point turning in it with 17” wheels.It also makes the same weird noises mine used to make, as it had uprated engine mounts, so brought a few nice memories to me👍🏻
That's a sweet ride! I can only imagine how cool it would be to be able to just drive to the Nurbergring every weekend and take a couple laps for fun. 👍

I am currently relearning how to drive a manual, and I can't express how much I appreciate seeing her footwork being so smooth!
