Great video! Super helpful for figuring out where to hide AirTags or Samsung SmartTags to track down the moped if it ever gets stolen. Thanks for the tips!
Hi, I also have a Lifan, and I also record videos on its maintenance and repair. It's nice to see the same work only from someone else :) Continue recording videos about Lifan, we have a very cool scooter. Tell me, why did you put the red connector in the seat glove compartment?
@@txperec Hello, yes I agree it is a cool scooter and fun to ride. No particular reason for putting the connector out like I did, I knew I would be checking things out on the obd port but it really needs to go behind the plastic to protect it.
@@bewafasanam11111 You’re welcome! Really, I find the scooter to be plenty fast enough, of course we only have about 300 miles on it or so. How fast are you wanting to go, just curious?
@@bewafasanam11111 I’m not sure gps on mine because I haven’t checked it but on the speedometer I have seen 70 mph with throttle left to go. I’ll check that sometime
@@herbiesgarage681 Speedometer on mine shows 71 while gpa 61. For me, it's 10 mph off. Other people on Reddit also mentioned their speedometer showing more speed than it actually is. I am saving all your videos to rewatch when I work on mine. Thanks to you, the oil change went very smoothly.
I noticed on your valve adjustment video also that how nice the welds are, says a lot about the manufacturer that does quality work on something that is hidden. In other parts of the world it is sold as Skygo adv150. I wonder if you put that # if you would get a bigger audience. As far as I know you are the only one doing technical videos.
The service manual in the USA is a dealer item. If you go to a local dealer for Lifan bikes you might get it from them. The owners manual should have come with the bike. I don’t personally know of any place to get a pdf file except for a dealer
Great video, I’m sure Mrs Herbie appreciates how well you take care of her scooter, Nice work!

I would love know if there was a way to increase the speed for this scooter.
