I’m 23, started three months ago. Never danced before, never did much sports either. So here’s my story. Kind of a long-read, so bear with it. Honestly, at first it was a disaster. I SUCKED. Like A LOT. I didn’t know what the heck I was doing, I didn’t remember and understood the choreo and only thought that ran through my mind was “what the heck I’m doing here I’m such a piece of shit, it’s embarrassing”. I got huge huge waves of anxiety. I constantly kept comparing myself to other dancers on the class(who were 10 years younger than me and 1000000 better). But I really liked the feeling that I got after dance classes(relief and calmness) so I didn’t quit. Recently I feel much much better, I attended 13 classes in the past two weeks(dancing marathon, yay!) and I’m starting to feel more confident about dancing. I can finally unglue my eyes from the choreographer and look at myself in the mirror(before it was absolutely impossible). I just realized that dancing makes me so so so happy, it’s one of the best things in my life and I want to continue and be better at it. SO what I want to say is DON’T GIVE UP, you got this. Give yourself some time. And just DO IT. Sign up for those classes! I believe in you!
Alice aaaaahh ❤️❤️❤️ proud of you! I am 24 and have been wanting to dance years ago but convinced myself im too old and not flexible enough. :( your comment was just what i need it to remind myself its not too late! 💪🏻 how are you doing in the process so far?
I'm laughing as I read through the comments... "I'm 16. I'm 23. I'm 26." Well, I'm 46 and I ended up here... is it too late? Never too late...but is it goofy? Yeah, probably a little bit as a 46 year old... but maybe I'll try and learn anyway... we'll see.
As long as you’re in good health and shape, I don’t think it’s goofy. Jennifer Lopez is 50 years old and she’s still a damn good dancer! Shakira is in her 40s and she can still move even better some of these younger people. It’s never too late :)
I’m 18 and have always wanted to dance but classes aren’t cheap and during my free time I watch choreos/various dance vids and wish can be as talented as those people
I’m 16 and started dancing in late October of this year (2018) and i already see lots improvements! A new year resolution of mine is to practice more. And i wanna open myself up to more styles of dance. I currently do hip hop and contemp, but i would love to do ballet, jazz, and tap as well.
Ayyy! Same boat but different starting points. I began around October 2017 age 16. Did a year of styles bouncing between styles, but mostly stuck to hiphop; Now I'm starting to get into contemp. I hope to improve my popping abilities and freestyle creativity by this time next year.
Shokai捷 oh wow. That’s cool.. same age and month?!?! I’m trying to get better at popping and freestyle too!! Those are my weaknesses 😭 I’m also pretty stiff when I dance, so I’m gonna try to get better at that.
OMG SAME FOR ME! I did some jazz and hip hop ij the past but I honestly didn't find a dance school that fit for me, but now I have one, and I love it so much! I think you should definitely try out those dances, its always lots of fun to learn something new! good luck in the future❤️
Turning 29 this month and I'm going to give the Steezy year plan a try. Things like singing, dancing, and making music were always things I had interests in but never really gave a shot. Well, I'm looking to make some life changes and find hobbies (and maybe a career path 🤷🏼♂️) that actually make me HAPPY! So this comment is me putting myself out there and holding myself accountable. Let's see where I am a year from now.
Hii it's 21 year old me! I'm so glad you (19 year old me) kept dancing, I'm even better now after teaching myself in quarantine and I hope I can get back to dance classes next term :) If 23 year old me finds this in 2 years, hii hope you're doing great and still following your dreams
Hi 21 year old me, it's 22 year old me. Quick update: i just signed up for dance classes (hiphop/jazz) twice a week for this term. Can't wait to start dancing in-person again
@@umanu221 I'm 24 now and not really dancing anymore, but I am happy I did! Social media made me think I have to be good at it to enjoy it but that took away a lot of joy instead. Now I'm studying animation and hoping to use my dancing in an animation someday. I guess I just have a love for beautiful movement :)
@@zelixnocturna834 Hey :) it's going really great. I'm turning 28 next week so I've been dancing for two years now. I mostly do Steezy and attend a class at least twice a month and I've moved from beginner to (sort of) advanced level. To be honest it was intimidating at first because it was tougher than I thought and I kept comparing myself to much younger dancers on Instagram. But at the end of the day it makes me happy and it's feels great to become good at something you love. Go for it!
how good is this! Awesome video Steezy. Yes, definitely NEVER too late... I started dancing in a studio when I was 25 and I'm 33 now... and in that time I've done a lot with learning, performing, choreographing, teaching, videos, etc... just remember to do what makes you happy, don't try to live up to others expectations or "standards" -- YOU DO YOU and it'll make you happy as f** :)
this comment gives me so much hope. i am 25 and just began dancing again and hope to make it real big. it is a dream of mine that i lost along the years due to not believing in myself.
i've always had a passion for dance as a little kid. now that im older at 20 years old that burning desire to dance and express myself still hasnt gone away so this makes me feel sooo much better! cant wait to reach my full potential
I'm 26. I was basically lost in life, no idea what I wanted to do, I've started singing lessons last year cause I've always loved singing, but somehow was quite unsatisfied with the experience. My cousin randomly recommended to me to join a musical theather school. Well, basically, she just spitted those words out as if they meant nothing, but those words were so big to me I dreamt with them for 3 days in a row until I searched for that school and signing up for an audition. It's amazing how our minds repress feelings and wishes like this and how strong they reveal themselves with just one simple sentence of support. Then, at the dance audition, we learnt a small choreo and when the teacher put the song on and we had to dance to it, I became emotional and teary because I loved the feeling and it made me so happy xD I was also shocked when I heard 15 years old kids saying they have 10 years of dance experience, that's just crazy. But I still want to do it. So, because Musical theatre isn't only singing, I started dancing lessons. I know it will be a crazy challenge. I've always been terrible at sports and haven't practiced any for years. Last week I had my first lesson and I had to stop after 15 minutes cause I got crazy dizzy. After lying down and feeling better after 5 minutes I returned and then even did an extra class that I wasn't supposed to xD I'll have to improve my resistence, cause I want to be able to keep the pace. Also, I failed the audition. They had less spots because of covid-19 -.- They put the 15 yo in the children course and then still had to take one out. They told me I wasn't the one to stay cause I said I just wanted to try and see if it made me happy (which was a lie I told myself for fear of acknowledging it. The month I was figuring out my feelings for this was crazy scary and a build up of accumulative mental health issues). Well, whatever it is, I'm taking individual lessons to try again next time. I really hope I do well and keep up with the dancing, the kids are insanely good.
I'm here cause I'm 28 and I want to start dancing. I have been wanting to dance but my head just get me first, so I only dance in my imagination. Now, I am really going into dancing. No more fantasies. But then, I can't help but question myself. But I am doing this now. Thanks!
Im 37 and in great shape and ready to dance..i struggled with really bad anxiety...i over came it im ready to dance so dont feel bad..go for it and good luck..
This was always something I tell everyone that it’s never too late to dance. However, it is harder when your older just cuz of the responsibilities you have to attend to vs while your younger there’s a lot more time allowed to work on your craft. But it’s all about time management. If you want to do it, then you’ll find a way. Damn... gotta listen to myself more often. 🤦🏽♂️
umm yeah i really want to learn dance i have tried that b4 but i left it.. but that was classical indian. i want to learn western. but the problem is that i don't know if i will do well there or just waste my time you know. so i am trying to believe in myself more. and also my relatives like really close ones think we should not get involved in these things. for distraction. if i am good at it or i believe i can do it then they won't say anything for my talent. my parents will support me. but when i am not doing good then i will waste the time and money. help me believe in myself. at some point i really want to dance and at some point i feel do i really want it? and i have no answers.
I am at my early 20s and steezy really care about my dance journey, I never really dance before due to parents disagreement and my friend circle dont have anyone who like dancing, thanks steezy really inspired me to continue dancing all the way
I used to do streetdance as a child, then a few years of theater with dance classes as well, but I hadn't picked up any dance classes from my 16th until my 27th year! I've been dancing again for almost 3 years now :) never stopping again! I'd been wanting to start dancing again for sooo long and wasted so many of my years wanting it but being to scared of what other people thought haha. It's silly!
Eat 1tbsp homemade sesame butter-200 cals 1tbsp homemade peanut butter-100 cals U have to eat 500 excess cals each day to gain 0.5 kgweight But excercise 3 times a weak And take a good protein powder as well ,gain muscle not mass Eat broccoli, kale, black turtle beans etc Try to have protein in each meal and last meal of the day should be high in protein less in carbs or fats If u are s meat eater then have egg whites, boiled chicken and tuna everday no need of protein powder !
@@rr-jy9xs Think on kpop idols they dance increíble and most of them are really skinny. So it doesn't matter wether you are skinny or not it's all about enjoy and not stressing about how you look
I have the opposite problem lol, I'm a bit chubby so I cant quite make some shapes like others do. I'm losing weight tho! My confidence is building ^__^
This always deterred me when I was in middle/high school. I actually chickened out auditioning for the dance team last minute. Wish I didn’t let it get to me. I’m sure you don’t look as awkward as you feel.
I started dancing at 2 & continued until I was 16 but stopped bc of transportation reasons. I’m 22 now, & all I wanna do is get back into dance. I was starting to feel like it was too late, but after reading the comments, I’m motivated now more than ever. Thanks so much for this video !
same! well.. I started at 3 and I am 16 right now. I want to join back so bad! I quit at 12/13 and the reason why im holding back is because it’s going to be my last year and I have breathing problems 😂 so I don’t know what to tell myself! But I feel the late part so much!
I remember starting at 13 for dancing, I’m still bad, but thanks to these videos, I’m able to improve a little. It’s never to late. It’s been four years. I feel like I am in the same spot but no matter what, I’ll always love dancing.
I just turned 20.. I got so interested in dancing, but I do not have access to dance classes or space.. So...it can get discouraging at times.. My family don't really seem to understand my love for dancing. My brother even asked me, "what's the point?"😅 I just love it!
I am 32 years old and have a 6 month old baby boy. I can't go running like I used to anymore so I decided to pursuit my dream of learning how to dance. I accidentally saw Steezy ads on video about Bruno Mars dancing styles and I thought to myself maybe this is the sign telling me need to get started right now. I downloaded the app and was genuinely surprised at how well the app designed and how friendly and engaging the instructor is. I can only take 5-10m a day when my boy is sleeping or when I have finished house work to practice. So a video for me might take 2-3 days to complete. But I feel it really helps me a lot to get start on this journey. Thank you.
I'm 18 and i just wanted to try something new like dancing, because i get bored with my first hobbies, drawing. I read an article said if moving can give you a motivation, so that's why i choose dancing to get more motivation. I hope can dancing like other dancer and enjoyed this as my new passion :)
I'm 16 and I've been dancing since I was 6 but I never get better. I only dance whenever it's needed - for school requirements / competition and etc. I don't dance hip-hop, contemporary or any dance that I find hard to learn and I'm verrryyy LAZY to practice or even do exercise in the morning. I usually dance Philippine folk dances that requires gracefulness and doesn't really has a lot of hip movements (I'm stuck in this kind of dance lol) that's why I decided to learn some new dances and thanks for saying that IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO DANCE! Gaaahhh I really wish that I can keep on dancing and won't get lazy again😂
I'm 25 and always am awkward when other people start dancing around me. I kinda wanna learn to dance just so i can have a good time whenever there's music around, and maybe find a new hobby in dancing, find a style that suits me best. The reason i dont dance ever is because i know i'll suck at it and i dont wanna embarrass myself
I always wanted to dance and always was afraid of it. But now with 16 years I really really want to learn how to dance. This video is a sign to me so thank u... the only thing in my way is covid so pray for us hahah
Im 15 and i was thinking that im too late. But now ill start and make my dream come true.thank you so much for making me feel that i can learn dance now also.
Thanks for motivating for dancing, everyone always tells that you can't dance but that really hurts me, even when I try to learn it I feel like I really can't do it🙂
I was teaching dances in my 20s, and then I turned to other direction in life. Now I’m 37 and all I want is to go back to dancing. I wondered wasn’t it too late. But now I do want to challenge myself and try it!
I started popping when I was 15 and danced almost everyday until I stopped at around 17, lost interest because, well, frankly I only did it because I thought girls would find it attractive (nothing came of it). Today, 7 years later I’m getting inspired by watching Kinjaz perform and I’m realizing how much I could’ve learned in those 7 years, and how much I regret stopping. I’m starting today so that a year from now I’m not regretting that I’m another year behind. :)
you know what even i started dancing and BTS inspired me so i am 14 almost and i really want to dance but some new style you know i started with classical indian and that is so different from what i want to do but still i am so demotivated
I'm twelve and I always wanted a career in music or theatre or dance but I never picked because I didn't know what I wanted. Then I found musical theatre at secondary school and I'm in LOVE. I also love choreo and teaching it so now I know more than anything that no matter what I do, I want dance in it. Most dancers started at ages 5-7 so me almost becoming a teenager in the month or so, I knew I had to fix up ASAP. I started with ballet for almost 2 years now and I did like it but I slowly go bored. I always have respected it but I know I really want to do Jazz and Contempary because even typing it gets me excited. So the moment I start that I'm starting my career. I love dancing but I also live in a small flat so quarantine doesn't help either. I just know no matter what one day I'll be back on a stage but instead of acting I'll be dancing.
I really needed this today(I'm 17 by the way) bcoz I was practicing dance I started 1 week ago but seeing others I was like will I be able to be like them, will I be a good dancer, am I late for dance and I was depressed abt that, but now Thank u for this it helped me. Thank u so much
Oh my gosh I love you. Warning, this is kinda long lol. I'm 15, and I've wanted to be a singer for a long time, but then I was inspired by some kpop groups (BTS STRAY KIDS COUGH COUGH) to dance too and instead of just singing, I decided I liked the way K-pop sounded better. After I started dancing, I realized I really LOVED IT. Like, why didn't I do this before?! I knew it would be really hard since most great dancers started at like, -7 years old, and I was really nervous about it. I have a lot to catch up on and I thought I might be too old. But I started practicing anyway, watching and learning mirrored choreos of kpop dances. It wasn't looking the best until I met my best friend who wanted the same thing, so as soon as we realized that (2 seconds into our first conversation), we were basically like "lol why not tEaM uP?😸" That actually really helped, and even though we can only talk online, we still practice together and encourage each other to keep going. And after a few months, I found this channel and it has REALLY helped SO MUCH. I love you guys. Right now, my friend and I practice (and exercise) from 8 to 16 hours a day 6 days a week. (is that too much?) I don't ever eat junkfood or any sugar(dessert), and I intermit fasting for two days every few days. I practice breathing control and also work at piano, singing and rapping. (Rapping is new and fun fact, I sound so freaking cringy, but gotta do it.) I'm learning to sing and dance at the same time too, without sounding horrid or running out of breath fast so I perform better on stage. Even after doing all that, I still thought I might be too old, and no company would want me, and was minding my own business worrying about it just now, when I saw this video in my suggested. The first 3 seconds of it not only made my day, but made my while life lol thank you so much💕💗💖사랑해요!
listen i am 13 turning 14 soon and i you have no idea how much i initially related to you. I want to be like those kpop stars but i don't know if i'll do well. i haven't started dancing and because of COVID i can't really start dancing right away. and i think i'll waste my time coz i had joined dancing classes earlier for indian classical but then i literally gave up. so starting something new just is so like a panic attack for me.
The only reason I think I’m too late is because I used to dance and stopped and I SUCK but it’s my passion and all these amazing people started when they’re like 4 +BRUHH STOPP BRUHH STOPP 1 second ago i mean i am so glad that i am not the only one... you know this is what is starting me from dancing again. but what i did earlier was something really different so now i am into something really different. i didn't want to learn classical Indian in the first place but then it was like an exercise for me and then i left it cause i sucked there. but i used to receive compliments for posture and everything but i couldn't remember
You see heres my problem. I live in the Philippines and lets just say that there aren’t many dance studios near where i live and when there are its gonna be a “celebrity only dance studio”. And i have a hard time with school already but deep down i know that i have a passion for dancing. My parents just think that theres nothing to dancing. That it does nothing for me except for it being a hobby/activity.... and we have money issues so its really hard to try to dance when you constantly get reminded that..... you can’t do it.. its a hard life for me ,but I’m still grateful that at least some of the things i want in life i can achieve. Thank u for this video its showed me that i can still do school and dancing at the same time i would just have to work harder and teach myself.😊
I am 25. I used to take classes for a few months when I was in 5th grade but due to my insecurities and not feeling comfortable there, I stopped. I wish I had started 5 years ago...
me too but i'm 14 and i learned indian classical. but i didn't want to learn that. i really want to learn western. but i feel really demotivated after i gave up on classical
why not start now? like this second as you are reading this? go look up tutorials on youtube! in fact, buy classes from steezy! they are supppper helpful!
I started dancing when I was 8 years old up to 10 years old and got teased and bullied bc I was a terrible dancer, but God made a way to bring me back to dancing which is joining dancing club in our school (joining in a club activity is required in our school) and now I'm 17 and I'm continuing to do my passion which I regret it the most that I stopped back then bc of other people's judgements. REMINDER. DON'T LET OTHER PEOPLE STOP YOU FROM DOING WHAT YOU LOVE.
I always wanted to dance, but my social anxiety stopped me from going to classes. I'm 18 now and am trying to teach myself, but th easiest moves look sloppy no matter how many times I repeat them. Makes me think I just have no talent, but... the only thing I can do is keep going or give up, and I think I'll regret it a lot if I don't do it now. I lost enough time already
I’m also 18 and a male and I also have social anxiety. I used to dance back in third grade but I lost my confidence. So I resorted to video games. Big mistake.
@@jujuraffe3732 Wow, we are kinda similar in that aspect! I used to dance, from second grade to fifth grade. I stopped when my anxiety got really bad in highschool. I stayed alone at home often, usually hanging on my laptop or my phone. I'm still having trouble overcoming my anxiety, but yeah... let's do our best while we are still young :)
I have not watched the video yet. But I was thinking, is it too late to start? It depends. It depends what you want. If you want to be the best dancer in the world - maybe, maybe not if you have enough motivation. Idk. But what I know for sure is it is not too late if you want to dance because you want to dance, if that makes sense. I guess the majority wants to dance as an hobby, because it is pure fun? So the only time when it is too late to start dancing is when you are too old to move. Therefor the best time to start is..now. Right now is the best time to start, whenever you'll read this. I'm afraid too but we have to dare nethertheless to pursue what makes us happy. I don't want to regret my life when it's too late and I guess so don't you. So do it already, goddamn. Start.
thank you i'm 27 and l feel too too old to do anything sometimes i feel the life is done for me. i should start form a long time, i should set goals when i was 17. i should did that in that time etc ........
I’m seventeen, and I just started ballet. I want to be on Broadway one day, because musical theater is all I’ve ever loved. I’m already strong in singing/acting, but I’m the worst dancer ever 😂. Sometimes I question if I’ll ever even make it if I start now.
Everyday I regret quitting dance at 17 I had done it since I was 2 and am now 25. My turnout sucks and I don’t know where to take classes that are offered for people like me who have danced nearly all their life but haven’t in a while
yes, it's never too late to started dancing. I started dancing in 2018 when i'm 16 but school takes almost all of my time so i can't practice constantly.
I've been asking for dance lessons since I was 6. Now I'm 13 and have been in ballet and musical theatre classes for 3 weeks, I want to start Jazz and lyrical though too but I'm scared to ask my mom for an extra class.
Idk man but our school literally forces us to dance. Uhhhh like from kindergarten to highschool (idk about college) and it usually is like a final requirement in our subject. Aaanndddd it is also usually in groups or by pairs. This is a struggle coz there is a short time to practice and I am the type of person who would literally take *ages* to memorize even the simplest steps! My group mates started to get pissed of by me, and you know when everyone's just annoyed by you *and only you* coz you just don't get that simple dance step? It is humiliating, like you just wanna disappear, you wanna cry but things would just get worse if you do that lol. Another thing is everyone's grade is on the line. So what I usually do is beg the teacher if I can just make their props or edit their music but if the teacher would say no then I have no choice but to dance hahaha
Don't worry about them being pissed off. Maybe you're just overthinking it. Everyone has different capacities. If they are pissed, they're horrible people. Maybe you're style is different too. I'm just like you, I literally take weeks to memorize Lmao. I'd suggest you to try and enjoy what you're doing, especially since it's almost mandatory in your school. After highschool you can just throw it away but until then try to have some fun and if you start liking dancing then you can stick with it, right? Dancing can be quite hard but it's beauty is truly unexplainable. A good heartfelt performance usually gives me chills and gets me into another universe 💜
I'm a late dancer as well, I started at 17, gave up two years ago, and am now trying again! I'm a 23 (almost 24) girl from Italy and these days I'm looking for someone to move together with to take dance classes somewhere in the world! (i love australia and south korea) I know it's weirdly random, but I was wondering if anyone knows an online platform, app, website or whatever to connect with other late dancers like me. There are a lot of apps to make friends online, but none of them are specifically for finding roommates with your same interests. I'm not rich, my parents would never support this crazy idea (both financially and emotionally) and I would love to have a crew of people of my age to move with, work and take dance lessons together! I'm interested mostly in modern, ballet, hip hop, but I would love to learn a lot more. Thankss 🥰
I wanna learn how to dance but I'm too scared, I'm such a coward and an introvert. I feel like I will look like a dancing stick. ;-; Because I have scoliosis and my back is uneven. One side of my back has a hump :((
umm yeah i really want to learn dace i have tried that b4 but i left it.. but that was classical indian. i want to learn western. but the problem is that i don't know if i will do well there or just waste my time you know. so i am trying to believe in myself more. and also my relatives like really close ones think we should not get involved in these things. for distraction. if i am good at it or i believe i can do it then they won't say anything for my talent. my parents will support me. but when i am not doing good then i will waste the time and money. help me believe in myself. at some point i really want to dance and at some point i feel do i really want it? and i have no answers.

@@sugaiskindofreallysweet11 well if it helps since that comment i stopped again because of personal reasons but started practicing like crazy now i’m in a kpop cover duo with my friend
Thanks so much for this (and a bunch of your other vids. I've seen). So positive and uplifting! #grateful I really want to learn to tap dance and perform soft shoe, with a love of those ol' MGM musicals. I'm 52 y.o., a bit out of shape, and most notably, had knee surgery for a torn meniscus 4 years ago. (Plus, unfortunately osteoarthritis flares up from time to time). I'm apprehensive because of my knee(s). I know I can start slow to get back into physical shape, but how concerned should I be about pursuing dance with a history of knee issues? My attitude is "all in", but my concerned wife (God bless her!), and my "fear factor" slow my roll...thoughts? Thank you!
I started competitive dancing when I was 12, everyone is so much better then me, I’m now 14 and have improved a lot, but I feel like I’m never going to be good enough to catch up:(
seokjin-ssi has said to go at your own pace, even if you feel like you can't catch up, even if you started later than everybody else. Raw talent is nothing compared to good discipline.
i know this sounds stupid but even tho i danced jazz sometimes since kid, i started dancing for real in the middle of last year (im 18) and i was thinking it would be late for me lol yeah i know im young but in my environment that i dance and take classes, kids with 14yo dance way better than me its frustrating sometimes :p
Friendly reminder that Kyle Hanagami started at 19, and I think Anthony Lee started in college. Never too late
Gene Kim omg I didn’t know that! Thanks for sharing :)
OMFG I LOVE YOU ALREADY! Your comment made my day, seriously.
this was hella motivational wtf bless
Gene Kim This made me so happy to see!! I’m 19 now and I’m going to a dance studio for the first time today 😊
Pff I’m watching this at 25 .-.
Alice proud of you!
Love this! Thanks for sharing :)
What if one couldnt afford to enroll for classes, do you think she would still be able to learn dancing thru youtube? :
Alice aaaaahh ❤️❤️❤️ proud of you! I am 24 and have been wanting to dance years ago but convinced myself im too old and not flexible enough. :( your comment was just what i need it to remind myself its not too late! 💪🏻 how are you doing in the process so far?
Thank you. I'm 23 too. And I'm planning to take up and thanks for your story
I'm 41. With arthritis, a broken foot, and asthma. And I'm gonna start:)
That's the comment I was looking for.💖
All the best! How is it going?
Bro, are you alive? 😢
I'm laughing as I read through the comments... "I'm 16. I'm 23. I'm 26." Well, I'm 46 and I ended up here... is it too late? Never too late...but is it goofy? Yeah, probably a little bit as a 46 year old... but maybe I'll try and learn anyway... we'll see.
Haha I'm 37 and thought the same! Just do it it's never to late so go for it and good luck!
As long as you’re in good health and shape, I don’t think it’s goofy. Jennifer Lopez is 50 years old and she’s still a damn good dancer! Shakira is in her 40s and she can still move even better some of these younger people. It’s never too late :)
You can do it
Okay now my question if it's too late to start now feels so stupid xD
I'm 15..
as long as you can move, u can dance. Dancing well depends on u, and how you practice
I’m 18 and have always wanted to dance but classes aren’t cheap and during my free time I watch choreos/various dance vids and wish can be as talented as those people
Omg same :(, I’m 17 and I havs always wanted to try out hiphop/street but it’s so expensive. I find tutorials on youtube and learn from that
well guess what im 11
@@bipank.48 uhhh congrats?
U should learn dance from classes it's more correct
I started at 12 13 now
I started last year and I’m 33 so it’s not to late🙂and dance is also my therapy😊
Im 36 and returning to dancing...its never oo late hun ...im proud you went back to dancing
@@ciara844 I'm 33 and just coming back to dance and your comment just gave me the boost i needed. I hope you are still dancing!
Viviana Niedung thanks for the advice!! And good luck to you too! 🙂
Same did ballet for a while and then took a break. A few years ago I started dancing again but I don't do ballet anymore. I do hip hop and ballroom.
Thank you so much for this comment! I'm 16 and all of the things you said just resonates so much with me
Same!! Turning 30 soon and I wanna dance, sing, produce music, martial arts and get fit and strong!
How is it mate? Where are you 2 years from then? :)
I'm 19 now and started 2 years ago, already seeing improvements :)
Hii it's 21 year old me! I'm so glad you (19 year old me) kept dancing, I'm even better now after teaching myself in quarantine and I hope I can get back to dance classes next term :) If 23 year old me finds this in 2 years, hii hope you're doing great and still following your dreams

snugglelicious how old are you now and how is it going for you?
@@zelixnocturna834 Hey :) it's going really great. I'm turning 28 next week so I've been dancing for two years now. I mostly do Steezy and attend a class at least twice a month and I've moved from beginner to (sort of) advanced level. To be honest it was intimidating at first because it was tougher than I thought and I kept comparing myself to much younger dancers on Instagram. But at the end of the day it makes me happy and it's feels great to become good at something you love. Go for it!
oh my god so there’s hope! I’m 24 and I keep being told I’m too old now... linda discouraging if you ask me

Did you have issues with your knees when you started at this age? I'm experiencing this aging symptom right now -_-
I'm a 39 year old guy and I'm a begginer. I'm going to set a goal to dance every day with the Steezy app. Good luck every one
how good is this!
Andrew Dowton I’m you years ago lol I’m 25 and I plan on jazz and aerial dancing
this comment gives me so much hope. i am 25 and just began dancing again and hope to make it real big. it is a dream of mine that i lost along the years due to not believing in myself.
Thank you. Im 26
As a 19 yr old turning 20 this year, I needed this. Thank you 🥰
we're at the same age and I wondered that... does practising make it better? Even if I'm almost 20? How is it going for u
i've always had a passion for dance as a little kid. now that im older at 20 years old that burning desire to dance and express myself still hasnt gone away so this makes me feel sooo much better! cant wait to reach my full potential
0:02 "No, thanks for watching"
Oh wow😂😂😂👌👏👏💕
I really hope I do well and keep up with the dancing, the kids are insanely good.
good luck!
I'm here cause I'm 28 and I want to start dancing. I have been wanting to dance but my head just get me first, so I only dance in my imagination. Now, I am really going into dancing. No more fantasies. But then, I can't help but question myself. But I am doing this now. Thanks!
I'm 24 and starting now too. Let's go!! :)

Hahaha. Yea
umm yeah i really want to learn dance i have tried that b4 but i left it.. but that was classical indian.
i want to learn western. but the problem is that i don't know if i will do well there or just waste my time you know. so i am trying to believe in myself more. and also my relatives like really close ones think we should not get involved in these things. for distraction. if i am good at it or i believe i can do it then they won't say anything for my talent. my parents will support me. but when i am not doing good then i will waste the time and money.
help me believe in myself. at some point i really want to dance and at some point i feel do i really want it?
and i have no answers.
In my late 20s and always felt guilty about starting to dance... STEEZY ily you really care 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
So, so much.

It's silly!
I'm 23 , started dancing on my own 3 months ago. I'm very skinny , so this makes me loose my confidence resulting in a very awkward dancing.
Eat 1tbsp homemade sesame butter-200 cals
1tbsp homemade peanut butter-100 cals
U have to eat 500 excess cals each day to gain 0.5 kgweight
But excercise 3 times a weak
And take a good protein powder as well ,gain muscle not mass
Eat broccoli,kale,black turtle beans etc
Try to have protein in each meal and last meal of the day should be high in protein less in carbs or fats
If u are s meat eater then have egg whites, boiled chicken and tuna everday no need of protein powder !

I remember starting at 13 for dancing, I’m still bad, but thanks to these videos, I’m able to improve a little. It’s never to late. It’s been four years. I feel like I am in the same spot but no matter what, I’ll always love dancing.
Hey wanna learn dance together??
I just turned 20..
I got so interested in dancing, but I do not have access to dance classes or space..
So...it can get discouraging at times..
My family don't really seem to understand my love for dancing.
My brother even asked me, "what's the point?"😅
I just love it!
Thank you.
This was immensely inspiring, thank you ❤
You're welcome, thanks for the love!
I'm 18 and i just wanted to try something new like dancing, because i get bored with my first hobbies, drawing. I read an article said if moving can give you a motivation, so that's why i choose dancing to get more motivation. I hope can dancing like other dancer and enjoyed this as my new passion :)
needed this :") as cheesy as it sounds I'm excited to start my dream
I’m excited to start dance class in March. I’m 32. Can’t wait to see me progress. 😊
Dang Im trying to learn to dance so I can join kickline and then i find your dance tips and once i refresh I see this vid right away
I’m 19 and want to start dancing. I already sing and act, I’m ready to become a triple threat!

Words can not express what this channel means to me.Thanks for giving me hope guys. This Video just made my day ❤🙏🏾

Hi, Me too 👋
12 is perfect age! Go ahead
Steezy You are the Best! You give me hope! You give me courage! I love you❤
I really needed this today(I'm 17 by the way) bcoz I was practicing dance I started 1 week ago but seeing others I was like will I be able to be like them, will I be a good dancer, am I late for dance and I was depressed abt that, but now Thank u for this it helped me.
The only reason I think I’m too late is because I used to dance and stopped and I SUCK but it’s my passion and all these amazing people started when they’re like 4

@@jujuraffe3732 Wow, we are kinda similar in that aspect! I used to dance, from second grade to fifth grade. I stopped when my anxiety got really bad in highschool. Steezy is awesome! My 17 month old and 8 year old join in.

Thank you 😍😍😍
No, thanks for watching! I love this channel
I'm a late dancer as well, I started at 17, gave up two years ago, and am now trying again! I'm a 23 (almost 24) girl from Italy and these days I'm looking for someone to move together with to take dance classes somewhere in the world! (i love australia and south korea)
I know it's weirdly random, but I was wondering if anyone knows an online platform, app, website or whatever to connect with other late dancers like me.
One side of my back has a hump :((
28 here,...and just started to try to follow my dreams to be a professional dancer
umm yeah i really want to learn dace i have tried that b4 but i left it.. but that was classical indian.
i want to learn western. but the problem is that i don't know if i will do well there or just waste my time you know. so i am trying to believe in myself more. and also my relatives like really close ones think we should not get involved in these things. for distraction. if i am good at it or i believe i can do it then they won't say anything for my talent. my parents will support me. but when i am not doing good then i will waste the time and money.
help me believe in myself. at some point i really want to dance and at some point i feel do i really want it?
and i have no answers.
Wow! You really inspired me! Thank you😍😍😍
Thank u so much for your inspiration
The only reason I think I’m too late is because I used to dance and stopped and I SUCK but it’s my passion and all these amazing people started when they’re like 4
i mean i am so glad that i am not the only one... you know this is what is starting me from dancing again. but what i did earlier was something really different so now i am into something really different. i didn't want to learn classical Indian in the first place but then it was like an exercise for me and then i left it cause i sucked there. but i used to receive compliments for posture and everything but i couldn't remember
@@sugaiskindofreallysweet11 well if it helps since that comment i stopped again because of personal reasons but started practicing like crazy now i’m in a kpop cover duo with my friend
@@l0vejasp omg sameeeeeeee i want to learn dance for a while now but now after k-pop it's been gone crazy for me. i
This is amazing!!!! A wonderful reminder :) thank you so much for this!!!!!
You're very welcome! Hope the dance journey's been treatin' ya well!
Thanks so much for this (and a bunch of your other vids. I've seen). So positive and uplifting! #grateful
I really want to learn to tap dance and perform soft shoe, with a love of those ol' MGM musicals.
@@sunni6610 are you talking abt jin of BTS ? coz i am really inspired at what age he started and how he is keeping up
thank you for this!!
i know this sounds stupid but even tho i danced jazz sometimes since kid, i started dancing for real in the middle of last year (im 18) and i was thinking it would be late for me lol yeah i know im young but in my environment that i dance and take classes, kids with 14yo dance way better than me its frustrating sometimes :p
Thank you
