- So my biggest goal for my channel in 2024 will be.... MORE land-based fishing videos! And this will be the first episode for the new year! I did a little searching on Google Earth and found a really cool looking spot that maybe had some potential. Only drawback, it would take a long hike to get there. So I loaded up the gear, headed out, and set out on this adventure not knowing what I would find. But as you'll see, we found some GOOD stuff!

As always great video! Best Northeast Florida Fishing UA-camr in my opinion. You are motivating me to raise my game!
We all motivate each other! The more videos to watch the better!🙌🙌 But thank you so much🙏🤙 Still need to plan a trip with you soon!
@@VISUAL-LY I’m ready!
Nice video man! Trekking long for the fish. Glad you didn’t go waist deep in mud. The reds and flounder owned that joint!
Brooo!! I really needed a trout for the slam but couldn’t find a single one🤦♂️You should join me on some shore adventures though!
Great vid man! Awesome finding new spots
Thanks man! Trying not to hop on the kayak so much this year but these kinds of trips are fun!
That's my favorite hiking trail in Jax. One of the only places to hike with hills!
Def an awesome place. And full of history.🤫
Where at? I won't tell nobody
Thanks, Mr. Browne ;)
Great content
Thank you!👊👊
Great video sir!
Thank you!👊
Nice vid as usual! Keep up it buddy!
Thanks so much, I def will!👍
Nice vid! 🔥
Thanks bro!👊🤙🙏
Sweet video! Hurting my heart watching you throw them back in 😂😂
Thank you! LOL, it's OK to release them sometimes. I already had some fish at home🙌
Love a spot with some resident flounder!!
I’d like to find some resident 20inchers lol
Won't be walking that trail without sunlight! Awesome video as always dude
You got that right! Who knows what is walking around at night in those woods!👻
Great video, the editing and all the camera angels , much effort! and great catches aswell ofc :)
Really appreciate the feedback brother! How are things going in Sweden. I imagine it's freezing Winter over there right now, right?
freezing cold here! but i have been out in the water and fished for sea trout without any luck ,yet! @@VISUAL-LY
Great video as always man. Good stuff.
Thanks brother! Let me know when you’re ready! We’re looking forward to it!
@@VISUAL-LY Yes sir. I am too bro. We’ll stay in touch. Can’t let you off that easy hahah.
Hot chip challenge?😂
@@VISUAL-LY Bro I’m ready. I think 😱
spots like that are cool, I would want an ebike if I went there very often... Thanks for the adventure.
💯Those e-bikes are cool! I rode them in San Fran. Maybe should look into getting one
2 mile hike and a grave stone😮 its always a fun challenge for me tracking your new spot😅 but im on...stay safe always broh!!
And I heard there’s an entire graveyard somewhere back there!😱😱
Great video!! Would love to be able to go with you on one of those land exploring adventures……..please!
Thank you! We can try set something up! Have any spots in mind?
Hell yeah brother. Great episode. Kinda spooky bout the dead homie on the trail tho. Jeez
Dude, I mean the dead homie was right on the trail! I got the chills while recording there😱😱
Did u leave b4 dark.. spooky apparitions
From 1820!! That’s old old. Not trying to mess with those spirits at all! Lol
Came from Fisherman's Life 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻 just subscribed
Wooooo!! Thanks for the support!🤙
Happy new year sir! You should launch your kayak out of the Rebault club. Another one of my spots. 👍
Happy New year! Yeah, I’ve launched back there many times. At least one or two of my old videos. Great launch location!
Hiked out there Monday and saw you. Glad it was productive Peaceful spot
Did you see me on the trail or while i was out there fishing?
@@VISUAL-LY When you were fishing. Was gonna ask how it was going when I was nearby, but decided it was better to leave you to it, rather than disrupt your day.
Ahh ok! Hope you enjoyed your hike, was such a beautiful day🙌
Nice video bro man you be killing it I went a few times an no luck from shore man please just give me one spot I promise not to over fish an still no sheepshead even at Nassau sound help me bro 😂
Thanks man! But honestly, I can give you every location and if you’re not fishing it right, wont catch fish. It’s not really about the spot. It’s the bait/lure, the tide, the weather conditions, etc. You just gotta learn that stuff with experience. Going out often and trying different things. Like Ft George is loaded!
At 72 years of age my doctor tells me to get more exercise. A walk like that might do me some good. I am not too far from Jax being somewhat north of it in Hilliard, Fl. Thanks for the great video. By the way, there are a number of such places in the Yulee area.
Oh cool! You should def explore those yulee places! Just make sure to always bring a rod!🙌🙌 Thanks for visiting the channel! Glad you enjoyed the video!🤙
Artfully done vid. You took me back to my youth along Charlotte Harbor. But did I see hills in the distance? I don't know what was prettier, the fish or the oaks.
Thank you! The area I was in does have some bluffs but what you see off in the distance is man-made, unfortunately. But yes, the oaks in the area are amazing!
I know exactly where you're at.
Always love your videos!
Is thereany tips and tricks you use from the shore in Jacksonville?
Not much, Except for one. I do like to cast up current and work the lure/bait flowing with the current. I rarely cast down in the direction of the water flow and work the lure against the flow.
@@VISUAL-LY that's a good tip! I've been doing that all wrong, I'm use to live or dead baits and am trying to learn how to use lures and fake baits but to me has been more difficult so far. But also could be my locations. I don't have a vehicle right now and changing spots every hour or so isn't an option for me unless it's within walking distance from the first spot. 😅
@williamdavis2159 I’d bring a couple rods. Toss one out with a live or dead bait and let it soak. Then have a rod just for casting artificial lures. Def Increase your chances that way
@@VISUAL-LY thanks for the great tips!
Could you figure out how to kayak back there? Although a long walk this time of year isn’t bad.
Not unless you’re ready to kayak a very long distance and/or crossing some dangerous big water
@@VISUAL-LY enjoy your no nonsense content, I mainly fish clap board in the area of palms fish camp ramp.
@@papazoo1 appreciate it! For some reason I don’t fish clapboard or browns a whole lot. Need to make it a point to explore those areas a little more this year🙌
Could tell from the vid you were not on that side, paused vid and used maps before your first cast lol
😂😂if you figure it out, don’t comment it on here😅
It was a fun video to figure out where you were. I figured it out but obviously won't post
haha appreciate it!@@pbm9cje2n
Tired of you exposing these ancient and super secret spots. 😂 You should show the gun and knife your carrying for protection when your exploring these spots. Another vs at a new spot?
A du ma!! Let's go my den!!
Dust off the skiff? Haul the yaks? Or land based ?
Let's do some exploring on the ground!@@richardcuenta194
