Bah hahaha! You got me with the title screen. lol I sure do miss regular visits from Stelt-meister. You are a piece of work, my young man. Keep pounding that steel.
For the paint sprayer most paint is too thick for it you have to get some paint thinner to thin it down or some acetone depending on the type of paint and the sprayer will work a lot better.
Old man here, so I had security system in my garage for years, but a small advise is not to show the location of the sensors. Always a way around them. And having rare thing like 1 of six vises; yepp, you definitely need a system.
I get nervous every time I see Will move heavy machinery, the "NOOOO" from his power hammer fiasco still haunts me. Even though Alec uses it for comedy now, heartless bastard.
Hello, Seasoning a chalkboard (also known as priming) is necessary prior to use. Without seasoning, any marks you make on the chalkboard will leave “ghosts” meaning the marks will never erase completely. Before writing, season the surface by rubbing the side of a piece of chalk over the entire surface and erase. This will leave a coat of chalk dust that will provide the best erasability.
One of the first lessons of security is not to tell people where your security systems are located. Security by obscurity should never be your only defense, but it still is a valid layer of defense. An attacker that knows what you have and where it's located is going to be more dangerous than one that doesn't. If you want to do a demo of the devices then I would recommend doing a showcase before you install everything, but if people know where your cameras and other devices are located they can pick an ingress method that is less likely to reveal what they look like, and delay triggering your other security features until they're ready to book it. My recommendation is to get some more cameras / door / window sensors, or at least move the ones that you have.

Hey Will. Just a little tip for you with this paint. First paint the wall with a normal black paint. Then use the chalkboard paint. It will cover more the wall and it's a lot cheaper. As someone said the company who make this paint had stocking issue this year.
I've got to say that i love that Will included the giant cross on his chalk board wall. There are a lot of people that are afraid to put their faith on display simply because others will hate them for it. So even if you don't agree with Will in his choice of religion, respect him for his dedication to it and not letting others stop him from sharing his faith.
Security tip: you should actually mount a camera below eye level at your front door angled up. It's much harder for someone to hide their face when observed this way and the mere presence of a camera situated like this can help deter theives.
Re: Your security concerns. Montana recently permitted manufacture of machine guns in state which is not subject to federal law because there are no interstate sales allowed. Best security system in the world imho.
Oh, you bought the small paint sprayer. I have the big (but homeowner grade - Graco Magnum X5) one, and it takes longer to clean up than it does to paint. Glad to know we had the same thought for "really classy first design" 🤣
I also have a huge wall painted with chalkboard paint. If you want it to last a long time and not become all grey and washed out you need to place a hard putty on the wall and then sand it smooth before you paint it. It’ll get rid of all bumps and holes in the plaster. Also some chalk crayons are hard enough to make a mark in the plaster which you don’t have to worry about if you do the putty first. And as for cleaning, a smooth and flat chalkboard wall will stay blacker for longer. 😊
Great job. Love your videos. Can't wait to see more videos Will. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend Will. Forge on. Keep making. God bless.
This might be redundant at this point, as you have probably finished the shop, but you might wanna invest in a roller pan and a proper brush... Don't get Purdy, they have gotten too expensive- There's a new good brand out there called Jines, and they are extremely good for how cheap they are. also, get a metal roller cage. DON'T GET A PLASTIC ONE.

I do believe that I will follow your channel as long as you produce and as long as I have access to a computer with internet. GOD Bless you. Peace, Love and Happiness to you and your family.
You can make your own chalkboard paint out of regular flat interior latex paint. Just add in some Plaster of Paris, a cup or two per gallon should do it. I used this once when trying to make a matte finish green wall for video work.
Hey Will, did you thin the paint before putting it in the sprayer? Some sprayers won’t spray paint that isn’t thinned. Just a tip for the next time. God Bless.
They should have a product JUST for that purpose. They could call it....uh, paint thinner! I'm gonna leave this up on the board for ALL my classes to see.

HI Will, like your chalk board idea, at one of the places I worked at, steel fabrication, if there was something that had an interior the words of wit flowed like paint. At the sameplace, we had a parts rack outside, about 50 feet from the concrete to cinder ash drive, first shift said we know you got the parts off that rack, last night, how did you do that?🤔🤔 They left the fork truck bearied to the frame 10 feet from the concrete for me to get out. 2 sheets of plywood, said the farmboy to the city slickers.👍👍

most paint sprayers (especially with thicker paints like chalk) require some kind of thinner to attain a consistency that can comfortably run through the feed tube
I painted a car once with that stuff for a laugh (seriously). Put it on with a gloss roller looked amazing for a few days. Any oil or anything though would leave marks in it. Was no problem tho quick sand down and another coat only took about as long as a good car wash lol. Going to be a nightmare to get looking even in a workshop :P.
