i love the Ugly Betty, named for the lumpy surface and the tv show was popular when UB came about. I live about 10 West of you, the powdery mildew wreaked havoc on my grove. Caution with the rotting fruit, Small Hive Beerles can live in them.(UF Bee lab)
I didn't no the history of UB or the corrolation between hive beetles and rotting fruit. Thanks for that info. If it's not one thing it's another. We used to be overrun by Sri Lanka but I hardly see them anymore. Powdery mildew wasn't an issue this this year although it has been in the past, mostly on new flowers.
@@s.fla.beekeepingmangoesand1517 thanks for the reply might want to try m4 or honeykiss then, my honekiss is one of my most productive and smallest tree on par with pickering

Please recommend few mango varities as per their sweetness
What do you use for fertilizer?
I don't fertilize. I only use mulch.
Why did you cut the venus? Supposed to be good tasting and productive
I planted it cuz I wanted a late season mango but didn’t care for the taste. The fruit is huge and the tree is a vigorous grower.
