Hi nice mango garden mister bydaway where I come from n that is south east Asia..in Island of Borneo the way we get rid of this white annoying weavel bug n cotton mildew worm also variety of tree fungus at ours fruit field plantation is by using a magnesium carbonate powder mix with water that we sake it well in motor runs gallon of water spray then sprayed it through fully the effective part or wholely a once a month then u sure will satisfy the outcome Greetings from the Highland Green Touch Mango Garden of North Borneo 🔆
Thanks for taking the time to comment. So far our trees do well in spite of the weavels. If the bugs ever get out of control I'll consider your option. Take care,
I buy all new equipment from South Florida Bee Supplies in Miami. They are great and willing to share knowledge. The trees came from various nursery’s. Thanks for commenting.
The white bugs eating your trees are sri Lankan weavels and are from the pit of hell! I haven't found a natural way to get rid of them but spraying a soapy water mix slows them down.
They are from the pit of hell and that may be the reason I usually forget what they are called. I just smoosh them when I see them. Once a tree is established they don't seem to have any measurable negative effects. They hinder young trees IMO.
Neem oil works for me against them lil bastards. And then i spray iv organics and they seem to be controlled. Leeche trees are doing great as are the avocados.
@@ogog9554 I don't prep scions while the tree is holding fruit. Most of my successful grafts have been in October with scions being prepped in September. What trees are you interested in? I know Truly Tropical sells Scions. They have channel and are in Delray.
@@s.fla.beekeepingmangoesand1517 I can wait till you are ready & able to harvest scions. I have a large East Indian I would like to top work & use it as a host tree, attempting to graft to it. If possible I would be interested in couple of scions from each of the trees you highlighted in your video with the exception of julie (already have 2) Valencia Pride & East Indian. Thanks
Orange Sherbet, Ice Cream, Ugly Betty, Sweet Tart, Rosigold, Alphonso, Angie, Fruit Punch, Lemon Zest, East India, Julie, and Valencia Pride are the trees from this video. I also have a Carrie and a Venus elsewhere. Thanks for asking.
Love your garden

Spray the weevils with Dawn dish soaps water, which will kill them.
I'll give that a try. Thanks.
hey where are you located
Dania, Florida
That’s not aphids the white bug is called Sri Lankan weevil, very hard to get rid off because they lay eggs in the soil
You are correct. They are weevils. Now we just need to figure out how to terminate them.
Friend are you sell Mango plants.
No I do not.
Please share all varieties name also
Tank you brother
