Phil Collins is the most complete Artist in the world. Drummer, singer, and pianist. He can do it all.
I beg to differ sadly we Lost The Greatest on Christmas Day 2016 and I will never get my head around why he died so young or that I will never see him live again.

Amazing how close to the studio recording this live rendition is. Proof of musical mastery. i grew up listening to this. 1981 yeah babe.
Phil Collins is one of the geniuses in music and film but his music has gripped me since I was about 8or9years old as I had a sister who was 5years older and I have a brother who is 7years older, so I was blessed growing up with the sort of good music that was about then, and still today my sister who has passed away now always played "follow you follow me, and everytime I hear it I feel it's a message from her and dear lord that makes me feel good. Will anyone give me an AMEN for my sister please 💜☀️🙏👍🏻
This live version, for me, is the best I’ve ever heard, it beats the album track by a country mile……..those horns, wow !!

This may actually be my favourite Phil song. Phil, bury the hatchet, give Chester a call and make up. He was a loyal friend and rock solid drummer for both you and Genesis for close to 30 years. Life is too short.

What a band, my godness !!! Phil Collins at his best. The entire live video and his sound must be remastered as soon as possible. This live sounds heaven to me !
One of my favorite tracks from Phil's solo repertoire. This should've been a much bigger hit when he released it back in 1983. One of the best drum grooves I've ever heard, both in the studio when he laid it down, and live when Chester Thompson adds his signature on it. And the way he integrated horns into his songs was pure genius. Very underrated song.
Chester is so underrated, I'm a drummer too, he really has some "in-between's" you hear that brother? I don't remember this song and I'm 56! I was 17 when this came out. I was pretty close minded back then to mostly only listening to heavy rock and metal that's why I guess.

This tour is one of my most favorite concerts of my life. Also been loving this Perkins Palace '82 bootleg (audio) for 30+ years. It was a dream come true to download this whole show back then.

In this year he produced, arranged and played on Frida's (ABBA) Debut "Something going on", recorded 'Hello I must be going" did a Genesis Tour in the Summer, including a Reunion with Peter Gabriel in October. He played Drums on Robert Plant's first Solo Recording and finally went on Tour with his own marvellous Band here. Can you imagine he was "just a Drummer" a few years before?..... Genius! And one thing I have to add..especially Phil, Chester and Daryl...musicians who Play "supper's ready' and just weeks later a funky tune like this can play EVERYTHING ❤
