Ford C-Max engine fault (DPF) Additive tank empty

In this video we show you how to fix an engine malfunction in your Ford C-Max. The cause of this problem is an empty DPF additive tank. With a bit of skill, you can fix this problem yourself. All you need is an additive of approx. 2 l, diagnostic software, a filling kit or a pump. The additive tank is located under the car between the fuel tank and the spare wheel. Connect the pump to the right connection and pump until the liquid flows out of the left connection. Then the container is full. Then you connect the diagnostic device (FORScan software is free) and confirm the filling and carry out diesel particulate filter static regeneration.

i got engine codes P2584 and P2585, is probably empty DPF fluid tank right?

The OBD trouble code P2584 states that the fuel additive control module has detected a malfunction and is requesting that the engine warning lamp (MIL) be activated. This indicates a problem with the additive system that may require service or repair.

I had the same issue a few months ago, car went into limp mode and everything. It went into limp mode for about a week and then the problem went away. The car has been fine for 2 months now, what might be the problem?

Also i had some mystery fluid leaking from the rear of the car, im guessing it was the additive

There is a small dosing pump in the additive container, which becomes leaky over time. The only solution is to replace the containers with the pump together because you cannot buy them individually but they are expensive at over $1000

Если вы имеете в виду топливный бак то скорее всего датчик уровня топлива не работает

я имею ввиду бак для присадки жидкость ЕОЛИС заливаю обнуляю удаляю ошибки и всеравно пишет низкий уровень прсадки???????????????

Сигнал о недостаточном уровне жидкости поступает от пьезодатчика который стоит в дозирующем насосе который стоит в бачке присадки .возможно проблема с датчиком
