@@kawasakizx6r813 my brother and our friends all own Xboxes, so I’m not too sure whether you’d need the ultimate tier to play games cross platform between Xbox and PlayStation, but I’m aware that you can play PC games and Xbox games cross platform with the ultimate tier. I did try googling it for more info with little luck finding answers for you
@@kawasakizx6r813 hey, i hope you've already found the answer you're looking for - you should be able to play Rocket League online on Xbox with cross-play to a PlayStation with no subscription as all Free To Play titles allow you to play online with everyone, even without a Game Pass subscription. To play more games online you can subscribe to Core to get online multiplayer benefits for all games, or subscribe to Ultimate to do that & access the full Game Pass catalogue with pretty much endless choices for games - although this is unneeded if you only hop on to play Fortnite and Rocket League every now and then. Hope this helps :)
I pay $60 a year for my ultimate (cheaper yes ik) and I definitely think it’s worth it atleast for me however I don’t believe it’s for everyone especially at the much expensive price of $17 a month which is basically $200 a year

There is no annual tier for where I live. So I pay around $8 a month which rounds up to $96 a year.

You probably got the Xbox ultimate pass from a foreign country like India. Which it’s possible to use. But you have to set up a IP acct.

I got an email this morning informing me that my xbox live gold/gamepass ultimate will be increasing in price from 10.99-12.99 a month!!! I know its only like 2/3 pounds more a month but they don't understand that its actually quite a lot especially since we have been paying more than standard anyways... frikken joke. I miss the good old days when u just come home from school or college, slide a brand new disc into your console and boom a whole new chapter... now its too much

if you have x-box unlimited do you get the same games that you would get with x-box core? Also if you have one of these game passes, would you need to also buy the Pc game pass? or can you still play the games you have on your xbox. And these work for every xbox right? (i just started using xbox, sorry for all the questions!)
Xbox core titles are games that are included in the "standard Xbox Game Pass library" which you get with Unlimited. Xbox PC Game Pass is a completely separate subscription for PC users, and you will need one for PC and Consoles.
One work around allows you to play Game Pass console subscriptions will allow players to stream games via the cloud to PCs. Which won't require dual subscriptions.

I've always got my game pass ultimate from the Microsoft rewards, and it's gone!!! I hope it comes back to the rewards soon. But it's worth the money/points either way.

Yeah, I was just trying for the last month to redeem for ultimate, which is 10,500pts/month. It is on the Xbox console rewards app. But just crashes when you redeem. Obviously not working and customer service won't help. One guy actually told me they're out of stock and working hard to restock inventory of game pass ultimate rewards. ..... haha

They wont be rotating, games wont leave the lineup but new games will be added 2-3 times a year.

@jimyarbrough9935 you do though, it's just a name change for XLG. The games won't leave your library and are playable as long as you're subscribed which you need live gold (now Core) for MP so you have to be.
To keep them, you have to purchase them. No subscription wait for a sale, with a subscription wait for a sale. Sometimes subscription discounts are cheaper than sale prices, but just wait for sales, very good deals. But still keep the subscription it is very good.
My ultimate will increase to $20 from September. Time to get the Core one coz I normally dont play other games rather than FIFA.

Agree with everything you said. When I first saw the change I was upset for a whole 10 seconds, but realizing you gain so much more for a couple of dollars is soo worth it. I suggest everyone upgrades to Ultimate.

No need to pay for both. Ultimate is the most advanced. if you pay for that, you will get all options in Core + more. While core is a bit limited. Got for ultimate if you use multiplayer and core if you just play alone.

Yes, after June 29th the Xbox360 Marketplace will be not available, so if you want to buy DLC's or whatever do it now. However, I don't really know if we will still be able to play multi-player after that date. Help?

You have them for as long as you're subscribed OR they remove them which can happen with 3rd party games...
if you really like those games then you should buy an Xbox and buy the games. You can find them for really cheap these days. In fact, if you pay for the subscription every month just to have those games then you're actually paying more than those games are worth.

For some games but not every game...there is a section in the Xbox store that has all the free multiplayer games...if you want to play other games then you just have to pay $10 for gamepass core.

I took advantage of the conversion from xbox live to game pass ultimate for 3 years back when xbox live was only $60 per year, so it was a great deal. However once the conversion period ends, not sure I'll continue on ultimate as my pc is not great for gaming and only having one game needing paid subscription to online gaming on my console. Might renew with only xbox console, or might not, have also bought a couple of games and unlike movies or music it can take a while to finish each specially if you want to fully unlock all trophies and collectables as I am.

They just killed Gold to force people onto Ultimate. Not even cancelling console just taking multiplayer away. And that's after the times square ui update. This is almost as dumb as when they required gold to use netflix.

Those 2 games don't require a subscription to play online. Just like rocket league. There are quite a few games that are multiplayer that have free online play, they have their own section in the Xbox store.
Na been a GamePass Ultimate sub since it launched.. and will continue.. best gaming deal on the market.. much better than PS+

Game Pass Ultimate I buy a 3 month subscription like every other paycheck lol for me or lil bro but I def need to get him a console so I can stop paying for both. Then again when are the Game Pass Family plans hitting the US if they haven't canceled the idea? I am fully on PC but still have my PS4 and the value of XGP is just unmatched. They add in CoD I'll likely never return to console lol I think Core should have cloud access especially when they add purchasing like Sony is doing here soon.
Console share bruh, subscriptions and games can be shared, and you both can use it paying for both once. You just have to make his console your home console, and enable gold sharing for everyone on that console. Content owners, yourself, can play on any Xbox.

Core IS worse. Not every Gold monthly game giveaway was bad. Some were actually bad ass. And unlike gamepass, those can never be taken away as they have the same status as 'bought'.
I have a ton of PERMANENTLY mine games from claiming them each month. That cant be taken away like gamepass games can cycle out. Alot of them arent even on gamepass. So it helped me try out and enjoy games I would never have (i wouldnt have bought them and they arent on gamepass).

I may be wrong, but I'm sure that your Xbox One titles that you received with Games with Gold don't have the same status as purchased titles, meaning if your subscription lapses you will loose access to them. Only the Xbox 360 titles are kept and playable without a current subscription.
Xbox has stated nothing about games leaving the core linup and all except for like 3 of the games announced are xbox studios or bethesda games meaning theres no contracts or deals that would make them remove the titles.

Game pass is a joke for many reasons such as for the last few years the catalog has the same games. Another is e.a. games are included, taking up a 3rd of the catalog when e.a. has its own subscription separately not to mention they have almost every Madden game on there taking up alot of places where there could be other games. And the prices of it has gone up more than a dollar or two.

i loved to scam microsoft by making new accounts and paying 1 dollar for xbox gamepass ultimate sadly they got rid of it though or at least everytime i make a new account it says 15 euros instead of the 1 euro it used to be (and i've been a xbox live gold member for around 1 year)

Why don't they have gamepass console. It bogus they have gamepass pc but not console. They force you to have core or ultimate, but if you don't have a pc then it's wasted money and a useless feature. Why not have a console version also that let's you play the console catalog instead of games they think you might want to play.
All this did was shaft ultimate members who got a price hike for NOTHING !!!! In fact, a price hike for the same service and alot of new issues. Like having to wait 45 minutes to get onto a game since that garbage fest Starfield was released and NONE of the games promised when Microsoft was buying everything up.

This is such BS. So they took Game Pass Live and split it up. If you want multiplayer, you need one and if you want the games you had before, you need the other. Which would be $20 a month instead of $10. Basically they want Ultimate to seem like a deal. I don't want EA or cloud. I'm so pissed. Everything is a money grab.
You're mistaken, if you want all the games you had on gamepass before then you would pay $11. That doesn't include ea, cloud, or multiplayer...and ultimate is $17 not $20
I don't think it matters what tier or name change they offer, if all they offer is Crap games! The core games look like old crap, and you know on ultimate they constantly add cheap crap games nobody's heard of or interested in! Crap retro, anime or decision making story games.. YAWN!!
