I just flew my Turbo Timber Evo 1.5m in -15C temperatures here in sunny Indianapolis using vinyl medical gloves covered with mechanics gloves and many layers of clothes. It was fun with no drama. May your passion for the hobby keep you warm! Cheers, Bradford
Hi Ian hi Cheryl Great to see you 2 out n about good honest scale flying nav lights BRILLIANT the cam might be the most expensive bit of kit but Cheryl has got to be the most precious. She does extremely well just like ol Alan with gina... Unsung hero's ALL the best Brian

Congratulations, you’re the first person I’ve come across who has managed to capture the great lights the plane has, it’s got a bit to do with the weather conditions. But still, a nice entertaining experience thanks Dave
Aww thanks David, I know I did post a video where I flew the Timber Evo in the dark, and using the nav lights to fly it!! Thanks for watching and commenting 😀👍
Great flight my friend! The lights are awesome. Glad you got to fly, we have had some really bad wx lately as I know you have too. Great flights Ian. Thanks for going out in the cold and filming for us all! Cheryl did a great job as well with the camera...thank her for bearing the wx with you for us!!
I wonder if any of the locals report UFO sightings when you fly your turbo timber in the early mornings 👽👽👽👽 I may have been cold and misty, but a nice morning for some nice flying Ian 👍 Glad you and Cheryl had the opportunity to get out there 👍
Sorry not been about had the flu last few week knocked me to cracking video all ways injoy watching the amount of work you put in top job 👍👍 doing a premiere tomorrow at 8pm UK time pop in share your channel link will mack u blue so u can you legend 👍
Aww sorry to here you've been ill but glad your on the mend, I'm up to my eyes mate!! My girlfriend has been trying to get me to move in with her for years!! I've put up a good fight but have give in!! As resistance to women is futile!! So I'm off work this week in order to move my planes and Helie's in to hers!!
Morning Ian….. Great controlled flying in difficult dark conditions…. What a lovely versatile aircraft… rock solid and the nav lights are fantastic … I admire both of you in your dedication to starting so early in the cold and dark to fly and bring us your lovely films… Dedication to the hobby at its best because of this and your sharing … Really enjoyed this film…. Thanks.. Michael
I finally ordered one of these today . I hope i like it . If it's anything like the old one should be great . i just wish they would have done something different with landing gear . It looks the same as older one's . It's ok but could be better .
I don't think you will be disappointed, I love this model plane!! The nav lights are amazing and overall it seems very robust, as for the landing gear, I haven't had any issues, and the field I fly at is pretty bumpy!! I guess only time will tell. One thing for sure put 4s in her and she's like a rocket Lol thanks for watching and commenting 😀👍
I was looking at some other pictures of that plane last night . The landing gear is a little different on this one . Older turbo timber and my night timber x is foam between landing gear . I noticed that this one has plastic . That was the problem . We put 3d printed braces on the older one to stiffen the center up . Won't be necessary on this one .
Nice flight . I don't have that timber . I have the old one 1.5 and night timber oh and umx timber . like all of them . I had the timber x but crashed it . I want a PA-18
You would be able to get it from Horizon Hobby and you would need a Spektrum transmitter like the DX8 Gen2 DX9 Gen2 Nx6 Nx8 as the Bind to fly version has a Spektrum Receiver 😀👍

Ahh right!! They must have strengthened it up then 😀👍

I like the PA-18 in fact I like all Cub's 😀👍
Which is more difficult to fly, a plane such as this one or a helicopter?
Most definitely a Helicopter 😄👍
Yes, let not weather be a deterrent.
Aww I tried but then it just got a bit to wet!! Thanks for watching and commenting 😄👍
Where in the US can I buy this, and what transmitter goes best with it?
