Hi Ian. Nothing to do with this video, but I had to share this with you. A very loud, low plane just went over my house and landed at the Hamilton, Ontario, Canada airport. Right away, I went on flight radar to see what it was. Turns out to be the RAF Boeing C-17A Globemaster III. What a beast that was. Not sure what it is doing here and wish I had a picture flying so low over my house. I knew by the sound it was something special, like the Lancaster when it flies over.

Great video Ian with lots of different aircraft, some nice maidens especially the tiger moth as these have a tendancy to nose over on landings....jeff.

Hi Ian … very interesting unboxing …. This is so well packed and all credit to manufacturer for taking the trouble to pack so well in groups of parts … This is something for me to look at in retirement but guessing not cheap but quality !!! Thanks .. Michael

Looks good, I can say the TB canopy is the best I've had from align thus far, I have had zero issues with it. Loved the unboxing, I'm looking forward to the build set to see what i could have done different. I love the TB 40 like I mentioned I will be going for the 60. The Tron orion 5.5 has caught my attention as of late. Have a wonderful Christmas If I don't get to chat with you guys before then. Jason.

Merry Christmas, helicopter is not my thing, but I have one question, why are there so many flying sticks and so few helicopters with a body that looks like a real helicopter?

loved the 500x build video series, the piper j3 cub v4 video at first when I viewed the video some months back I thought she was a small nitro. the decal and aesthetics with the engine looks awesome, yes 1400mm is not a small plane for some reason she has that 900 - 1000 look to her. beautiful none the less. I do love a good rain out day, ample time to do all of the other items i usually procrastinate on. enjoyed the video. Good day to you Ian.

They land like a dream .. the v8 fms p51 was equipt with a 580 kv motor and the v7 was equipt with a 540 kv .. most owners do a zip tie mod to the back of each prop hub to increase pitch 1mm for extra power and staying within the esc limit .. another beautiful bird to fly so good I have 2 of them 👌lol ..regards Jeff 👍🏻

Another very enjoyable video, Ian! I completely empathise with your nervousness about flying the 2.0m D.H. Beaver. I suffered the same with my first ST Discovery. Having been enticed back into the hobby by James May's Toy Story glider episode in 2012/13, I got this RTF trainer... unboxed it... put it together... and then put it back in the box, filed under "Well, that was a bad idea! Where am I going to fly it? It's HUGE!!! I can't fly that!" So it went into the loft for five years. I lost five years of flying and I kick myself now. These days, I just get stuck into it and what the Hell 😁

They were all very nice flights, I especially liked the Spitfire! I wish I could show you when I got my own Discovery to stay in the air. It was exciting and immediately afterwards I was worried about how to land on this. Nice to see memories like this. 🌝

I enjoyed that, Ian! Your journey to the Spitfire was pretty much exactly my own, and your videos gave me the confidence back in 2018 to at least buy the Spitfire as an aspirational target to achieve. Please do another video like this! 👍

Awesome speed runs I like seeing the difference between the goosky, align, and 330. I do love the sound of the 500x best. in the runs. the sound is amazin, they are quick.
