Hello Rosa, some interpreters say that getting in legal interpreter is hard because there are not many positions available. Others say that getting the cerrification is not a big change talking about money. Would you please give us your feefback? Thanks
Hi, Ronald! I would say it depends. Opportunities vary greatly depending on the state and the language. Where I am based, for example, Chuukese interpreters are in high demand and Spanish interpreters, not so much, but I’m sure that in CA or TX the opposite is true. About the certification, again, using where I am as an example, registered interpreters get $25 p/hr and have the lowest priority for assignments while certified interpreters get about twice as much and with priority. Great question! 😊

Pues si buscas algo gratuito, MedlinePlus es un excelente recurso porque tiene todas la información disponible en inglés y en español. Puedes hacer tu propio plan de estudio, por ejemplo, seleccionando temas específicos por especialidad (endocrinología, gastroenterología, etc.) e irlos estudiando.
