Hi 👋 Mike and Blair wanted to wish you guys a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. From Oceanside California!! Glad i found you guys again.Take care be safe i will be watching 👍
Core support and grille mounts are 1973-74 only on squares. 1975-80 are different. You CAN get away with using the center bracket and the two outer brackets next to the headlights on the 1975-80 core support. I did it when I added a 1973-74 grille on my 1977 C10 without having to change out the core support. If you get too worried about the grille flexing too much, you could fabricate some brackets for the grille support but I personally wouldn't worry about it.
Yes the Blazers are becoming lesser ever year! Bet that Jimmy was a real looker 50 years ago! Alot of good parts and be a good builder project for someone that really wanted too have a Jimmy!😊 Merry Christmas to yot both! Take care.😊
Our shop is closed for a week in January, I was wanting to fly up and visit your shop, I think ill wait till warmer weather and visit you lads this Spring or Summer
They may not have the shop anymore after May due to their legal issues with the ALC. They're having another auction in April and probably shutting down the shop after that if they don't find another parcel of land to build another shop.
@@cariboooutlaw4852 I hear you, and it upsets me to no end. I'm just trying to not get into it lest I make matters worse. Maybe Mike can repair some farm equipment and that would check the box. You'd think it should be just that easy.
Hi,... just don't forget to lift that rad support back up onto the proper frame mounts! ... unless we're going for the "Nanook of the North" snow plow upgrade. lol.
Hey Mike try to take a one inch piece of pex water pipe cut it diagonal or spiral, and put them on door post of sq. Body and than see how they shut nice!
73-74 Blazer only Radiator support and center support for the grill. Mike order all the new body panels for the Blazer and put that repaired body on the Jimmy.
They have a week to roll it out in the yard. Sunday Two weeks for parts. This isn't a build, it's putting a shell on a rolling chassis. Using up parts. It's someone's project after its sold.
Come on bud !! Get into the 20th century! They make good cordless tools for working out in the yard!! Wrenching by hand is hard on the joints! Save yer strength for real hard work!!!
I would come bid on this on but I am told it would cost a ton of money to import it the US and you need special paper work and stuff. Do you have the paper work for this?
Most guys would epoxy primer the frame first if u go to all the trouble and cost of sandblasing , and then theyd paint the inside of the frame first, before the outside, im sure u know this Mine, but had forgot! Lol
Probably could purchase most, if not all, those miscellaneous parts from Classic Industries, no? I prefer restoring and using OEM parts, but for small items like those, I would make an exception.
Y'all are like he's building the truck. Mike had about three quarters of the outter pannels and a cab. The original green was rusted to nothing. Parts on a trailer. Slapped together, rust proof raw metal or it will start to rust overnight. No time to build. Assemble and move it out to the yard.
Primer over raw metal otherwise leave painted parts alone. It got rolled out in the yard on Sunday to wait till April auction. Mike has by now moved the next project inside.

Isn't there a difference between a small block and big block as well? I know my factory big block 78 is different because of the radiator mounts
@@Mark-um7eyno man there’s no difference what on earth are you talking about jeez
You keep stepping over that broom Sweep up since you're there.✌️😎

Blue steel. We use that on our rusty stuff. Ever use it ? Supposed to transform rust to goodness.
That paint job on the frame has the tail light warranty. It's good as long as you can se the tail lights when it leves the shop
