What Apple home products are your favorite?
I'm just beginning with a plan for a new home. Of course, I love my AppleTV, but I'm looking forward to having a unified HomeKit based smart home. I see you are using Eufy cameras. I've seen some issues of compatibility posted elsewhere. Any tips on what to look for? Thanks!

Thanks , nice video . Hue and Eufy are my favorite . Just one problem with Eufy 2C Pro vs Eufy 2C , i’ve 2 cameras in the same area and
I have to charge my 2C camera twice as much for the same number of detections
that is possible based on the battery health and other factors. thanks for sharing your experience!
Interesting you use the Eufy as a baby cam. I’ve been searching for a good option here as well and currently using the Tapo C125, it just drops offline way too frequently (which is odd bc I have an AP in the room). Aqara continues to tease they will offer this feature in a future firmware update but I may have to give eufy a try.
thanks for sharing your experience with the tapo c125, i haven't heard of connection issues before! and yeah any camera can technically be used as a baby monitor, depending on the specific features you need

Great video - with the Eufy 2C cameras I now have 5 and the limit for HomeKit is 4 😠 Do you know if there's a workaround to get all 5 into Homekit? BTW Love the channel.
You can have unlimited amount of camera live streaming in HomeKit. there's a limit to how many cameras can record (HomeKit Secure Video) based on your icloud plan. the 2tb plan and above allows for unlimited amount of cameras to record, anything below that there is a limit to how many cams can record.
This is the puzzling thing. I'm on the 2 TB iCloud plan but it will only connect 4 cameras to HomeKit??@@AdamsTechLife
I am converting over to Apple Home automation and just installed two of the Eufy Cam 2C Pro cameras and a HB2. No problem getting everything up and going, but I have gotten quite a few false alerts in Home on Day 1.
I’d love for you to share your relative settings in the Eufy and Home apps that you’ve landed on.
i have different settings for each camera based on the location of the camera so it's really a trial and error of what works best for you and your setup :)
Can i use homekit to have my security cameras show up on my samsung monitor if so what cameras do you recommend
if you use an apple tv, yes. otherwise, not really. and the ones i recommend are the ones i use and this video answer your question :)
What are those sensors you’re using on your gate? They don’t look like a standard Aqara sensor, and I can’t find ones that look like that anywhere.

@@AdamsTechLife I don’t see any information on the weatherproof housing. I have a number of the sensors sprinkled around the house, but I haven’t seen any way to mount them outdoors.
I notice many of the smart things you are using get screwed into the wall. Many People Rent and are not allowed to create permanent holes in the walls or siding. Could you make a video for new 2024 products that are rental friendly? I have an Amazon Echo and Studio as hubs.

how is matter less reliable than wifi?
good question. idk why some "matter" devices seems to sometimes not as work as devices that don't support matter. my guess is because it's still a new technology and there's still bugs to be squashed.
