  • After the camera went down yesterday, Paul and Krista were successfully able to apply the stainless window trim to the rubber. Now we're ready to install it in the Bugatti. For those asking, this windshield is for a Volvo P544, which is what Bad Chad initially used when he started fabricating the body.

Excellent job Paul and Krista, I wanted to comment yesterday but I was too angry at the small minded critics to respond properly.
I'm one of the top VISTA techs in north America. And worked on a ton of the old 544 Volvos.
That includes glass work. I still have the factory manuals for those cars and can tell you that you installed that windshield exactly perfect according to the people that made the car!
Keep on being the best you, and "live like you mean it"!
    Fred.

It's great watching a craftsman at work.
As an Apprentice tin basher I loved watching the older guys, they made the job look so easy, but most of all every one of them was eager to pass on knowledge and help those younger guys.
Disability has taken me away from that trade, and unfortunately there's not enough kids moving into these hands on trades and they are going to be needed.
CNC/CADCAM has obviously taken over a lot of those skills, but there will always be parts on every build which can only ever be hand fabbed, and unfortunately they are dying trades.

Hi Chad, Jolene, Nate, Paul, Krista, & last but not least Fina! I really give Paul a lot of credit for pushing through the hard work, he looks like he is getting tired but he keeps pressing on! Chad I am sure it is a good feeling to get the glass work out of the way. Think how good it would feel to round up headlights for the Shoe Box and get it painted! Nate you are fantastic with all the little details on the engine job on the Terraplane. It is a good lesson for people who do not understand all the small details that go into making something custom. Krista you and Paul make a good team and it is nice that you can be there for him! Jolene great camera and video work as always, you are so good at what you do including the teamwork with Chad. Fina is such a good girl and looked like she was overseeing Paul's work on the Terraplane.

What an amazing group of talented and kind and great natured Nova Scotians. . Paul and Krista are truly dedicated to their Craft. What made my day watching was when Paul and Krista finished the windshield installation, Chad asked Paul if he wanted to come back another day to do the rear side glass in the Hudson Terra Plane. Because Chad and Jolene realized that Paul was getting a bit fatigued . Nathan is a true mechanical genius . The manifolds look great. Thank You All for the wonderful and heart warming entertainment.
