How to loose $20k in 5 seconds. Huge RC Jet Crash. Florida Jets 2022

- It’s like Nascar you hate to see them crash but everyone loves to watch them. This was a beautiful BVM Yak 130 that unfortunately lost the steering servo and had a run in with a Chan link. Unfortunately this crash hurt to watch but at least it was on film.

That’s not 20k lost..maybe $1000 or so to fix but not a total loss at all..more of a hit to his pride
Got to play the UA-cam game 😉
@@MerryBoozerRC oh dear LOL
How is $1000 dollars in repairs not a loss?
@@shelbyseelbach9568 because the jet will fly again....if it was a total loss, the jet wouldnt be repairable. and the jet itself is a lot of money its honestly probably more than 20k
@@WickedMoto Does it have to be a total loss to be a loss? Losing $1000 isn't still a loss? But I do see that you actually said total loss originally making my point fairly moot. LMFAO! That's what I get for commenting at one in the morning. You are correct, not a total loss. Just a regular loss.
Naw, that will buff out. "Tis but a scratch.
Ayo bro watch yo jet, watch yo jet bro WATCH YO JET
Thank you for this lol
Exactly. If you're going to make a smoking hole, at least have it on film. That way it's not a total loss.
Who put that fence there..!!!
One of the great things of this great hobby,we've all become master repairers! Like it or not!
I'm gonna need to learn quick I'm getting a rc excavator an dump truck and bulldozer also prob a front end loader too
Yes, that was my first lesson in flight.
Wesley. Definitely an Awe Shucks moment and still painful whether it a 200.00 foamy or a 20k jet. :-)
New VTOL VR update looking crazy
Oh man, that will make anyone "Yak" like a cat after watching that (yes I'm a poet)! Thumbs up for sharing Wesley, sympathy for the owner! Best regards!
Heh I get it
Ian from the rc car community I feel your pain
How to pop a blood vessel and give yourself an aneurysm at the same time in 5 seconds
You mean a stroke yeah? Pretty sure someone got a stroke from this
Or a ulcer
The part of the hobby thats tough!
That's why you don't put an Ukrainian flag on a Russian aircraft. 😅
Thats what he gets for mixing the red star with blue and yellow LOL
Recorded vertically:(
And the baby plane named Yun ying cried after that crash
The student pilot and the instructor were fighting for control. As you can see there's a Ukrainian flag on the nose and a Russian star on the tail. This flight was bound to end in disaster...
The plane was trying to rid itself of the nose markings 😂
Ouch🤦🏾♂️
Oh man that's a great model
I wonder if he had any kind of side slip gyro at the very least the assan from Castle.
Who else thought it was a real jet at first
Gotta use that nose steering!
That’s a bummer. Big toys big expenses.
Get the duct tape and it’s ready in 10!😂😂😂
That will buff right out 😂
Thats not a lost at all... thats just a day at the shop.
No nose wheel steering?
So when someone hits you car and break your bumper you loose the whole value of your car now? Not just the much lower repair cost?
I actually thought it was a real jet for half a second there
i regret clicking on this, it hurts to see that
The moan hits different😂
That wasn't a bad crash I was expecting something worse
I’d imagine the most expensive part of that aircraft is the jets but he only damaged the wing
this was at maram park near Coral Springs I go their all the time for bike trails
I cringed more at the idea of spending $20 on an rc plane then the wreck
Looked like the front wheel was struggling.
Dukttape fixes everything
Nah that’s fixable
He was testing durability come on guys.
First few seconds, I thought it was real haha!
Why use a airstrip close to a fence?
It's only about a $1000 for the damage. I don't know, actually it looks like it can be fixed.
Bro I would cry
What plane?
my favorite rc jet so sad....the yak looks so sick.
Your right, it does look pretty sick after that crash. Will need some time getting better at the "Shop Hospital". When the plane is named YAK, yah just know it's gonna puke.
Unfortunately that is just inexperience pilot error.
No that’s a mechanical failure, no pilot who is flying a turbine jet is gonna fail to steer it on the runway
Now weather that was a failed maintenance checkup or not is another story
My when i dont see the plane going on the runway
Probably didn't flinch when it hit the fence.!! Got more $$$.!!
Ouch that hurts ☠️
The average joe don’t understand how expensive these can get
Wouldn't say huge crash and he'll have that fixed in no time
He forgot to quicksave
Oh darn
Have to agree with everyone else that is literally just a scratch he'll have it flying next weekend
Yak 130 ❤
Its a simple wing and landing gear replacement. But what im wondering is how it tilted towards the fence
Needed a parachute and an airbag and maybe a left turn on the rudder next time ehen it starts miving off the strip to the right. Just a thought
One of the reasons that i own RC Tanks and not planes. Tanks dont crash. 😅😅
What jet is that
Great spot for a fence lol
It is a great spot for a fence, a child could have stood there and get srsly hurt
When that's a 1% damage, the jet costs 2000000$?!?????
Yakolev 131 nice plane... This rc gone wasted just because of its controller..
You need to use a little bit less expensive glue
Not sure how much of this was his fault. If you look at the front wheel, not only is it turned slightly towards the fence but also looks a little crooked, though that may be just a case of perspective.
That was very unsatisfying
Big sad energy for sure
Now that just hurts
I Heard that moan at the beginning.
Need to be letting someone experienced fly that.
It actually is around five seconds it looks like no one was injur- I hope no one was injured and ya that’s bad I don’t even want to know how much that costs
177M Nooooooooo
He's lucky nothing worse happened.
It'll fly again...
That is the purpose of a Flightline chain link fence!!.. .
I've done this myself. But if you're gonna fly em you're gonna crash em.
Ouch
My $300 foam plane has steerable nose gear and reverse.
Nothing some hot glue can't fix😎
Purely cosmetic
Даже некуда долитеть неуспел
Thats maybe a few hundred to a thousand dollars worth of repairs, he didn’t lose the entire 20 thousand dollar jet stupid.
I’m guessing a steering servo or gyro went out, has happened to me and it’s very annoying lol
Ouch 🤕
WHY!! are the the fenced pilot station right on the edge of the runway? This is a stupid flying field design. They should be back at least 20+ feet from the edge and have a 6" tall grass buffer
At firsr it looked like a real plane
The ghost of kiev
Ohhh noooo 🤯
Yep hurt to see it but….. makes for good UA-cam haha
@@MerryBoozerRC indeed it does👍
parachute ! for those moments when you think your going to go out of control.
Yakity yak dont come back
Ouch
I can barely afford a pizza, bro
I would have cried
it's spelled LOSE not Loose.
It's a good looking plane. What plane is it?
BVM yak 130
Deu mole.. vai ter q voltar para o treiner asa alta 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Not a total loss maybe 200-1000 to fix and about ten-50 hours worth of work to fix and she will will be like new I promise, I fly my biggest balsa plane I have which is a giant vintage stick from hanger 9 clipped the left side of wing on a light pole about 200 yds away coming in for aproch and never landed from that way before but had to that day cuse of the wind and turning in I clipped wing and broke in half, about 10 hours of gluing cutting sanding and fitting the broken wing back into place and using bals ply as doublers on the balls ribs that are cracked in half and I flew it right after fixing it and it flew like it was never in a nasty crash. Only plane I have destroyed or crashed that hard on the 5 years I been flying I'm only 30!but the first gen apprentice plane taught me how to fly on my own self taught thanks for the as3x fligjt stabilization and the 3 modes advanced to beginner and the panik button when learning to do flips rolls and basic acrobatics and my second plane is the horizon hobby 1.2 m spitfire MK2 and it has all those functions as well except it was bind and fly so I could use my new spektrum transmitter I bought to be able to fly any plane I want
Poor yak130
after that, fighter jets were no longer supplied to Ukraine
Air brake means nothing of you still on the throttle
i think he needs dji refresh
You wish you had an irl plane, 3 million repair cost lol
Its like UKRAINE
breaks and is expensive
