- Tim Ballard, the founder of Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) is breaking his silence after being condemned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
While on a tour in Boston, Ballard addressed a crowd of supporters and encouraged them to send his recorded statements to the media.
“It’s not true, nothing you hear is true,” Ballard begins in the video.

I think something stinks. My first thought is someone doesn’t want Tim running for senate. Fastest way to torpedo a senate run in Utah is get the church involved and have them condemn that person.

Something stinks? Sure, a boy with a history of having a "treasure hunting" business he sales to other locals...is visited by an Angel and shown some "gold" plates...translates them by looking at some rocks in a hat...and only his closest friends are allowed to see it...hmmm, yeah, stinky for sure.
This other dude has his own employees reporting that he has "a pattern of distorting and exaggerating their international rescues and their role in domestic law enforcement operations". Hmmm, never known a business to "market" themselves that way? As far as causes go, one would be hard pressed to look down at it, yet I do see peoples affinity to the spectacular and grandiosity i.e. showing everyone a plate of food you ate? Pictures with someone that ACTED like someone else? Dangerous stunts? Filming yourself hand poor people money...for views?
Social Media is absolutely valuable and connects us quite a bit more, yet it has its trappings and pitfalls. Tim, it seems, got a bit ahead of himself.

This is not a normal course of action for the LDS church. A council would convene and if allegations found true, he would be excommunicated. The church does not comment on ongoing investigations.

My LDS church kept taking money from my Alzheimer's suffering mom. Even though she already gave her tithing and she would forget and do it over and over again, the church leaders were okay with it.
When we found this out, we stopped having her give her tith. So what they did to punsh her... they wouldn't let her go to church...
Did they know she had Alzheimer’s? Did you talked with someone above them? Had any legal document saying if that was her will? Directives aren’t just for when we die, we can have legal documents with instructions about how we want to be treated if we have a disease like dementia and how we want our money handled. Of course if she was paying more than once a month then that’s probably not her will but just forgetfulness. But considering that once the person handling the money don’t know how much she makes, then they also don’t know how much she should be giving. If you don’t talk with them they will think that that’s her will and they won’t to ask because is a personal matter.

He is talking more about not being notified. Some factors don’t add up in this story of vice media and what Fox News 13 has put out. I think there’s more to this than we know.

Where did the statement come from? Did they get this statement from Vice or from a church spokesperson?
The statement first came out through vice, with no credibility or reference to a spokesman name. And at that point I thought, “something doesn’t add up.”
Basically it caught fire all day yesterday, but this video with the email screenshot wasn’t posted til late last night when it was originally posted. They had to re-upload it though this morning. This video brings a whole new version of, “what, did I hear the right?!”

Let's assume your friend said something about your and her relationship. I want you to discuss what she said but you can't reference her or your relationship with her. I think it would be difficult for you to do so. Especially if it's off-the-cuff, like Tim Ballard's scenario in this video.
Time will tell whether or not the allegations are true. Regardless of the mormons, the issue is did he coerce women to get into bed or shower with him? I can understand him saying sometimes he had to pretend the women working with him was his wife by way of a cover story, but unless the people he was pretending to were actually in his bedroom to see them sleeping in the same bed or showering together, why would they be doing that? I hope he's innocent given the work he has done, but time will tell.

Actually, it’s had a schism the whole time. Lots of current religious communities that came from the Latter Day Saint church. Now, could we see a more modern schism that splits the current church in half? It’s possible. Other churches have felt with this in recent years.

I’m speaking more to the younger generation who looks to church leadership and feels less in tune with the direction of the church each passing day.
