Hey guys!!! I stumbled upon this problem today, as someone who barely knows anything about computers. I solved it without the tutorials I did use some of the tips like the control shift + alt f2. And eventually stumbled upon a setting that I don’t know was mentioned in the video. 1. So you follow the steps to get into the advanced settings. 2. Press control shift + alt f2 3. Scroll through advanced settings and search for the BIOS guard which you enable 4. Save and exit 5. Load Valorant and it should work For me the other settings every tutorial mentioned were enabled but this one wasn’t, I took a risk by enabling it but it worked so I wanted to share!
Why is Valorant the only game making us do a bunch of stupid shit in order to play the game?? For as big as it is it shouldnt be like that. I feel they've lost players because why would I trust a game that is asking me to enter my BIOS just to play the shit?
After watching many videos this is the tutorial that finally fixed it. Ill admit the video isn't very good at explaining exactly what to do and how many bios are different however with a little common sense and knowing the things are slightly similar we managed to get it done than you I subscribed you fixed my friends problem.
for the folks having a lenovo laptop ( ideapad loq legion) , if you are having the problem of setting secure boot enabled and then finding it status disabled , u need to hit reset factory keys before enabling secure boot , that fixed it for me
Thank you! Searched a bunch of videos and this one was the best. Also thank you for thinking ahead and showing the various options for intel as well as other processors!
Thanks for the excellent tutorial, but for now I think that's it I'll give valorant a break, uninstalling in 3.2.1.... RIOT needs to fix this, I don't want to have to do a thousand things to play valorant

For those non geek people, secure boot avoids malicious codes running even after restart. Some malwares injected with cheat engines are programmed to run in startup and some are even tricky they can hide their registry. Vanguard scans regedit for malwares running in background and in startup, so secure boot is a handy help to avoid those dodgy malwares that Vanguard can't detect.
