Thank you for the video. For some reason, when I switched the boot to secure and pressed F10 and went back into windows, my system information still said Secure Boot State was off. Fixed the issue like some others by going back into the bios menu, changed secure boot to disabled and an option that said ‘standard’ to ‘custom’. Restarted the pc and let it load windows fully, went back into the bios again and switched it all back to standard and enabled secure boot. No idea why that had to be done but it worked.

For anyone who is still stuck, when you change the option from custom to standard, click "yes" when it asks to load factory defaults and then click "no" when it asks if you want to exit without saving. Do that and it should boot with secure boot on.

You can check the partition style from CMD in recovery mode:
diskpart and hit enter then type list disk to show all connected drives. Note the disk number of the one you want to check. In the disk details, in the GPT column if there is * (asterisk) then it means the partition scheme is 'GPT', and if there is no * then it means the partition scheme/style is 'MBR'.
Then if you get a message like:
MBR2GPT: Attempting to convert disk -1
    MBR2GPT: Retrieving layout of disk
Failed to retrieve geometry for disk -1
Just type the number of the disk that the disk part utility gave you. For me it looked like mbr2gpt /disk:0 /validate and then mbr2gpt /disk:0 /convert.
Worked like a charm! Awesome video!!!

Thank you so much for this video. I had everything ready to go except my master boot record converted to GPT. I didn't know anything about that and couldn't find anything about enabling secure boot. That was my only hang up. Thanks to your video, it identified my issue and once I converted my MBR to GPT, Windows Health Check said I was good to go. Unfortunately Windows Update said otherwise. However after Googling it, I found the commands to run in command prompt in administrator mode that fast tracks windows update to finally allowing Windows 11 to be installed. I'm installing it as we speak. Thank you thank you thank you!

I watched your 3 videos on the topic and would like to share that you have earned my Subscription. Today disabled CSM due to other issues and shortly after found out that I shouldn't have done that without checking the disk format (thankfully it is GPT) and the TPM (Thankfully I somehow have it enabled and active) - so now I only need to enter the BIOS and Enable Secure Boot the way you showed in these 3 videos. Thank you.

You can skip a few steps in Disk Management. Instead of going through a couple layers to get to the disk's properties you can get their directly.
Find the (C:) drive, but instead of right clicking on it, go to the very beginning of the same row, right click where it says "Disk N" (where "N" is the disk number) and then select properties.

I also don't usually comment but the first part of your video (changing your Hard drive from MBR to GPT) should come with a warning... Noobs like myself did not know about the partition failure!! When you transition a drive, if the drive has partitions for recovery, buffer, etc; the. The conversion process will spit out a complete AND an error message of "cannot find winRE"??!! This is because the conversion erased the partitions and then It doesn't know how to restore them without winRE...
This is all well and cool if you have win Recovery on a disc/USB, but I upgraded to win 10 from previous windows through the windows assistant.
Either way, it is a good video. Just needs a warning for the MBR/GPT for noobs
