For the first time ever, I have found out after 25 years of sewing what a cover stitch is. I had no idea I could by an overlocker which did that until I watched The Great British Sewing Bee programme. Your video is so helpful.

These 3 videos have been just what I needed to learn my new 1000CPX. The ending and lock stitch is the best! Had no idea how to do it and was using a needle to push the top threads to the bottom and tie them altogether to knot. Thank you so much for all your tips & ticks!

I hope that Janome is giving you a share of their profits for selling this machine for them. I went to 2 dealers, neither had the machine in stock to look at , would order it, but only if you bought it & when I inquired on lessons would only agree to show how to thread it. I have watched your videos on the subject enough times that I now feel brave enough to order one online as trying to get one locally doesn't seem to offer much hope down the road. I sure hope I never have to get one fixed. Can't wait to learn more about you & your co. Thank-you so much for your educational videos.

Thank you for your wonderful demonstration. You inspired me so much I am ordering Janome 900cpx coverstich sewing machine. You made it so easy and it looked like coverstich sewing machine is much less complicated than serger.

Thank you so much for sharing all these great tips, after watching all 3 videos I am ready to buy a coverstitch machine. You have taken the fear out of trying it but I know I will use it a lot. I am doing a lot of alterations and the serger is helpful but I need to do nicer hems on knits. I am short and want to shorten my tank tops and other knit tops and thing this will be great. Sewing machine with twin needles is not as nice. Now when I see a T shirt I like but it is too long, no problem!!!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Your a really good instructor. I’m very new at using a serger and cover-stitch, in fact, I purchased my server several months ago and a cover stitch machine is on its way to my house! I’m just learning how to use them and also working with knits...I hope you have videos on working with those types of fabrics...thanks again and keep them coming!

Regarding removing coverstiches: does this technique work for removing a row of 3-needle stiching as well?? I cannot get mine to ever unravel as easily as what is shown here (I have the same machine), so maybe it is simply not possible when three lines of stiching are in place. A really useful video, thank you.
