Im always amazed how you are able to cut through the material and rely on just the cardboard for backing and not cut the top of the units

I’ve been installing for about 15 years. I’m always a bit surprised when installers make due with boxes or stacked tool boxes instead of a proper MFT to cut on. But it looks like your supplier delivers more complete product than I’m use to.

hi mate. Why do you make 2 passes to cut a board? Is the cut more clean?

1st cut is a scribe cut ,approximately 3mm deep, then full depth cut, reducing chipping of melamine

Yes sometimes you need to cut a panel or a filler so that material is laminate board in order to prevent chips on edge of the cut you have to do 2 mm scoring cut then do the full depth one
