- Easy how-to and tutorial for cleaning or washing dirty climbing shoes. All you need is a soft-bristled brush and some soapy water. Clean gently but thoroughly and let air dry before climbing.

We haven't climbed in or tried washing Simond shoes, but I would expect them to be built the same way as other brands, so I'd say go for it!
Am I best off using hot or cold water?. About to send my shoes in for resolving and thought it was a golden opportunity to clean them.
Shouldn’t make a difference in general. A nice temp that makes cleaning comfortable 🙂
I would think hot would be better as it may help dissolve soluble dirt faster, and is also just more comfortable.
So I recently went down a crazy soap rabbit hole and apparently most soaps work the same in warm and cold water... Warm ís nicer tho!!@@tuxido4913

@@walrusclimbing I did it an the session after the rand broke and went through the leather. I had them for only 2 months 😭 but I think it’s just a coincidence and the could be due to other factors like footwork how much I wore them took them off and I think i downsized to much I did the same washing process to a pair of boreals I had and they are fine.
