The biggest short coming I can see is the need to use the turn based mechanics in the safe places. Nobody wants to not move freely in these areas as there is no combat.
The AI art character portraits really bring me out of it. Also, the voice acting seems to drastically change scene to scene? 5:15 for example, she goes "I AM OUT. HAVE TO RELOAD," like an AI voice/robot unlike her earlier Southern accent. I also think it's a weird choice to have voice acting during exploration/combat, but not during the important cutscenes, it infers that the cutscenes aren't important, but the gameplay is, if that makes sense.
Interesting premise - I think the sound design and character voicing does a huge amount for these kinda games re: immersion and I think Urban is a bit lacking here.
