Pro finish. My suggestion: If you were used sealed back mid drivers, the bass from the sub will be good. In this condition, the mid drivers acted as passive drivers and may damage it. Sorry for my English.
I’m. Urgently researching speaker builds and although I can’t comment on the audio specifications (I’m still learning) I can comment on the workmanship and that is A1. Amazing craft and care to detail on the housing. I’m sure your next speaker will be even better, I hope mine turns out as good as yours.
Nice job, if I was being critical, I would have gone for a matt finish on the front, the high gloss cheapens it slightly and the perspex window will be doing nothing to improve the sound. But apart from that well done.
Really great build sir, I wanted to build the same, please suggest that what are the ideal box dimensions if we use the w6 1139sf TB sub, and also port size? Waiting for reply.
Este foi um dos trabalhos mais perfeitos que vi aqui no Itube, destea modalide muito bom mesmo dava para fazer em serie e vender um bom produto e otimo acabamento, perfeito mesmo parabens!!
Congratulations, great job, I want to make constructive criticism that can help to make your work even better than it already is. In a stereo baffle use a single tweeter for a single channel (L or R) or combine them is not good at all, the middle and high frequencies usually have a well-defined separation between the two channels, however not so at low frequencies, reason why some commercial and professional sound systems have a dedicated baffle for low frequencies; having a single twiteer produces the sensation of a monophonic sound and the loss of general quality; also the speakers of the two channels must be isolated between them and the wofeer. Greetings.
Some more constructive criticism: Since your setup has not a lot of power, your subwoofer is basically obsolete. If you had more power, you would run into problems such as the subwoofer working in the same volume as the middle tone loudspeaker distorting them since the air-pressure will handicap/change their amplitudes and frequency range.
One of the best bluetooth speakers built here on UA-cam. The only bit missing is you haven't provided with links what and where to buy all the stuff from. I am sure this sounds the best cause it is three way. Mickey if possible please provide a list of the stuff you used and where to buy them? Thanks for uploading.
Awesome work man, and nice background score. At least you didn't put this trashy EDM in the background like other Indian UA-camrs, special thanks for that.
amazing Craftsmanship, the way you prepared the whole setup from building the 3d model and then making the build, But i have the same fear which below mentioned many have said but my question is right now Sub Woofer is simply in a open setup, while many like me thing if you have created a sort of cage(confined space in the setup only) for it , it will not push or vibrate other speakers in the assembly. Do you sell the Kit in India?
Nice speaker! But you really should change that battery, I build a speaker with one of those; 4800Mah claimed and 1900Mah in reallity, I bought another one from aliexpress for around the same price (11€): Liitokala 12v 4400Mah wich features 6 18650 cells and after testing it, even exceed the capacity: 4500Mah. Those are really great for value
I bought one of those battery packs rated at 10,000 mah and was very disappointed by it's performance. So I tore it apart and found three Lipo batteries with a total of 650 mah each. And an old cell phone battery just shoved in there to take up space and add weight...
John Quimby a lot, I've been using it for a month in short periods of time with approximately 70% volume and its still not out of battery, I tried too, to use it at ~50% volume until it died but 2 days later it was still running so I stopped.
Even if you get a quality pack, it seems like you have to choose between total mAhs and recharge cycles. I say order vape batteries and solder in series yourself. Bout the simplest soldering job there is.
Hi ive just seen your Video and what an excellent speaker you have made and i was wonderin what where the settings you used for the engraving of the acrylic name plate and the power of your laser. Thanks for your time AL.
I have two subwoofers of sound link 42mm (1.5 inch) How many inches of box do you have to make for this speaker's good effect? Without bass resonance. No Bass Resonance. is going to use Bass Air Tube
@@beatsmyheart4539lol! You need to get the T/S paramters of the subwoofer. Put this info into some software like WIN isd , or bassbox pro. This will calculate the enclosure type, and volume for the most bass , and best response.
Hello @Micky Ratle I liked the way u designed the video , i ordered the same speakers, woofers and tweeters, but not aware of how to make crossover and then how to connect it,speakers, woofers and tweeters to TPA3116D2 amplifier board. It would be great pleasure, if you could make any detailed video or provide information on it. Sorry for troubling you.. Thanks in advance :)
Thanks for reply Response @Micky, Could you pls provide me box dimensions for cut the wood, am really un aware of computer it will be easy for me to cut if u can give me detail sizes for making box, it would be a great help
Does anyone know the detail on how he extended his bluetooth range? I read that the copper extension wire needs to be a certain length to work, and also that in some cases you need to un-connect part or all of the built in antenna contacts. Can anyone share any detail or insight?
Bro I'm very interested in this stuff what you are doing , you are the first youtuber I have found from northeaster I'm from Assam...Nice to see someone from our northeast I want to know where are you from
Yes I am trying to create this now. I do not understand the numbers of the components. I understand which is the resistors and such but i do not understand how to translate that to parts express part list, and thank you for replying back this is important. The only thing i am doing different is adding another tweeter running in series with the other one. I think that will work fine.
On mine there will be a driver and a tweeter on both sides and the woofer in the middle floor of the box. I do believe I will have to increase the size of the box volume as well to accommodate the sound. There will be a divider separating both sides with the woofer in the middle. It will be braced up as well. All will be operated with a KAB-250. I will welcome any help on what size of box would be best.
Great build and vid edit. Poor build though. Those speaker should not be in the same cabin. Or at least, the mids should be in a separate compartment to get better lows from the woofer.
Wow I’m blown away what a beautiful design and the way you executed this build is just phenomenal.
Very cool build! I bet the front cover would look amazing with a satin finish!
The low frequency driver should have its own volume ! It interferes with the midrange speakers
nice build man! peaceful music ,not "glueing" the speakers and not messing up everytime. keep the great work up!
One of the most satisfying build
Awesome build! I just saw this. THanks for the recognition in the video description. You did an awesome job!

Loving the clear plexi element
Молодец, руки растут из нужного места.
Very nice work! The etched window in the top is a nice touch.
a very good job on the housing and around it. manny detail realy good paint job but inside you can make that visually beautiful too.
I just overjoyed watching this video, the music takes me away 😎
Good job, nice outcome

Wow, you have your own website with free build plans and tutorial. You have really helped me plan my build for speakers I'm going to build.

Does the mid and the speakers are connected in s stereo, right and left and woofer in mono channel?

Excelent work, where you purchase the metal foot ? please let me know
I see your amp also has HF distortion due to lack of resistor on the output. I wish they would fix them.

Dear Micky,
How did you cut those small circles with router? Could you please show me? :)

Fabulous I really like that project. The dimensions are standard?
It would sound better if you saparate the woffer from small speakers. I know you currently don't like this speaker sound when big bass is kicked in.

What kind of feet are those on the subwoofer? I like those.
One could add an Amazon Echo Link and create multiple of these for a multi-room speaker experience :)

Ótimo trabalho.
, it's not a three way as the header says, it's a 2 way speaker with 3 drivers, two midbass drivers and a done tweeter.
Great work! Where did you get the feet?
Nice...
well done! Any chance to get the measures of the box?
Great job.

nice work!! would love to know more about the battery pack you used
Awesome video, awesome speaker! Great job man!
Nice.. ! I like it...👍👍👍
Awesome build man. I’m guessing that’s an 8000mah battery. What’s the average battery life you get in a single charge ?
Incredible job !! Confirm you only used glue to hold the box together ? Does the sub not have to be in a separate compartment ?
They're sharing spaces with mid-range, which is not a good idea though
And I expected more power to the sound itself
great speaker and great videos... but the light in mica istoo bright
Very nice 😀
10:00 wait is that background sound is Rick from Rick and Morty? :'DD
Btw good job for this speaker, so awesome!
Very nice my friend....i like it!!
Nice work. Can you please tell me what is the sofware used for designing the speaker?
Victor Teodorescu thanks. I model the crossiver in passive crossover designer (PCD) by Jeff Bagby. Box dimension, i use winisd.
