A good book is such a great entertainer. In my opinion, great books are equal to or better than any entertainment the electronic devices can give. And they make your parents shut up about getting off the "screen"

I liked the 200/200 100 100 appearance as well.
It's such a pure joy to see this kind of ZvT, I think it can be laid as a fact, that ZvT has been the most popular mach composition in sc2 so far. I've stated previously that my preferance at the moment is ZvP, because I find those games have been a lot more variable than the ZvT games. But a game like this, where there's the absence of that (for me a bit boring) big bio based stimpack Marine Marauder army, it makes the game such a banger and interesting to follow. Hail out one for mr. Lowko for again such a great cast. This is why we are with you mate, you have the heart in the casts. Briefly summarized, these kind of games are why we enjoy ZvT and Lowko's casts, thank you for sharing.

Having recently finished Wheel of time and read Stormlight beforehand, you're in for a treat. Almost wish I had amnesia so I could re-read stormlight fresh again, fanastic read.
I am actually re-reading Stormlight Archives as well, its been so long since a new entry. I know they came out with a spinoff, but I am really craving a new entry.
If you enjoy Stormlight Archives, I recommend Malazan Book of the Fallen.
I know is frustrating for Zerg to send army after army and Terran holding. Now see it from the other side. Terran feels like I have destroyed their army 5 times and somehow am still on the defensive if I lose my army one time the game is over.

As great as the Stormlight Archive is it might be best to start with some "lighter" reading from Sanderson 😂
I like to recommend The Emporer's Soul. I feel like it gives you a good taste foe his work and is a relatively small commitment.

To be honest, 15 hatch against Terrans with obnoxious Reaper micro like Byun or Clem seems like a must. Even Serral doesn't handle Clem's Reaper perfectly so all Zergs will certainly benefit from it.

Waiting for Stormlight 5 this year, awesome series, 4 was kind of mid, but the first 2 books are top-tier

I recommend Malazan Book of the Fallen if you haven't checked it out. It is ten novels, but a great read.
Also anything else from Brandon Sanderson is also quite nice.

I think why the last book wasn't that great, is because we didn't see any real development on Kaladin.
@@IcariumGaming And also the "flashback character" of book 4 is a let down IMO, Listener culture was never that interesting for me, and the Navani scientific rambling was way too much, i'm not against it, but it was too long.
About Malazan... Not gonna lie, i'm a bit scare of start it. 10 books are a LOT, and Malazan series has a reputation of being hard to get.
From Sanderson i already read Mistborn 1 and Warbreaker, not bad, but not on the level of Stormlight 1 to 3.
@@eded9157 Yeah, it felt like Book 4, was focusing a bit too much on the character development of characters that were not very popular, and even at the end of it, I still didn't like them any more or less. It felt like 4 was a placeholder.
I agree about Malazan, 10 books is extremely intimidating. However Erikson does a phenomenal job with his descriptions, and when we are following another character the entire writing style changes to reflect their personality and intellect. You are sucked into it and engrossed into the story. The one largest downfall I had was a specific character I hated, was prominent in book 7 I think.... that book takes me the longest to read because I just don't like him. When people gush about Game of Thrones, I think about this series and how if they were compared it would be GoT 3/10 and Malazan 9/10. Also Erikson communicates with fans through his various websites which is a nice touch, where I find most successful authors are closed off.
If I recall correctly Mistborn and the Stormlight Archives take place in the same "universe" it was a good read, but I agree that Stormlight is just more interesting. I enjoy grand scale wars, and high fantasy.

Playing Mechs into Zerg knowing they have Zergs? You know full well Zerg is going to have full tier3 while you can't use Thors cause you'll be abducted to no end. At this point I'm convinced the most successful way to play versus Zergs is to just rush them as quickly as possible and just close out the game.
Just need to do 2-3 drops harassments. If you get 1-2 libs and 1-2 drops and do those at the same time Zerg loses like 5drones minimum and has to split queens zerglings and you can always pick up rinse and repeat. That’s how terrans do well because if you saw how much reynor lost in vipers and ultras you would see Zerg can’t push in more than once against ghosts

ahhh, a Cure game, playing mech, with my last 30-pack,12oz Root beer that I got for Christmas, there's nothing better than that.
Also, Lowko, you haven't been using the 'battle report' feature, which allows us to see what actually was last during a specific fight instead of just everything lost. I'm wondering if you've forgotten about it, or it's just not available for matches?

Tbf most of the match reynor had overseers and broodlords towards the front but i wonder how much a few widow mines mixed in could have done for cure. I mean other than hellions cures armies were like 90% mid or high tier units. A few cheap widow mines could have done a lot i feel like

Stormlight is soooo much better when you read the other cosmere books/series. Such as mistborn, warbreaker, Elantris, and white sand. It unlocks a lot of hidden depth and crossover references

Why do terrans never open with 3 banshees then keep producing banshees to surprise with 10-12?
Zerg looks so broken
I'd like to see Smart Servos get more use. The ability to transform four of the Terran's key mech units faster means repositioning Siege Tanks and Liberators easier and Vikings and Hellbats shifting their role in battle as necessary. Dunno if the upgrade just isn't worth it or if Terran players are sitting on it.
EDIT - Pardon me, I assumed it affected all transforming units. I wonder what it would do if applied to the Siege Tank or Liberator.
I am surprised you caught that without a comment. Unfortunately it would make Siege Tanks and Liberators too powerful. They are extremely powerful area denial, and splash damage, their one downside being immobility.
@@IcariumGaming True. I'd also had the idea to swap the Banshee and Liberator in the Starport - Banshees don't need a tech lab but Libs do, and nerf the Banshee base damage with better upgrade damage to compensate. That way Liberators are a bit harder to mass in the late-game, while Banshees could come out a bit sooner.
@@DrakeyC It's an interesting suggestion. I think banshees being quicker would really wreck zerg though, since they rarely have anything except queens that can shoot up until mid-game. However how quickly the terran can amass liberators shutting down entire fights is quite painful late game. Maybe put both on the tech lab, but then it would only be a nerf.
@@IcariumGaming Well a I envisioned it, the Banshee's damage would be reduced from 12+1 x2, to 9+2 x2. That way at Tier 3 upgrade their damage is identical, but they can't two-shot workers anymore without at least Tier 1.

If Terran turtles like this and its very inefficient trading for Zerg why don't they just wait it out and farm the map, build like 20 proxy hatcheries then do like 4-5 full max army pushes. What's the reasoning for constantly sending troops into the Terran Grinder?
there's no reason not to switch to marine/medivac/mine style that clem plays pretty much in over 70% of his games.

I think in my opinion the first game of the year 2024. That's one thing you don't have to distress that much Lowko, when you announce a game of the year, it always means this far the current year. And for me this has been the best game of the year, but I expect that 2024 will bring us even higher content on this game. Sc2 is alive and well. 😊
