    Missouri Star Affiliate link for 20% off your purchase of $50 or more: glnk.io/mzmmj/pattymacmakes. You simply click the link which takes you right to their website. Then shop as normal. When you have $50 worth of products, the discount will come off automatically in the check out cart. Not everything is included with the discount, and I don't have any control over that. Generally the big ticket items like sewing machines and furniture is not included, but most everything else is. Including fabric and notions already on sale. Often they allow us to stack the discount onto the sale price so it really makes it worthwhile. I do explain it more in my most recent videos if you would like a visual representation to follow. There is no limit on how many times in a month you can use it!

    The I Spy Panel would make a beautiful tummy time quilt for a baby. Panel looks like it was designed to cut the blocks apart. Stitch on the small inner lines. I havent seen a panel like this in quite awhile.

      Oh that is a great idea! I agree those are probably cut and stitch lines. But for someone who's never quilted, stitching on the cut lines would make it super easy to follow. I think it's a great panel for multiple skill levels!

    Love the panel. Perfect for Ispy with little kids. The van is nice. But there must be a place to sew/make quilts. When we all start our UA-cam channels, you'll have to give us all your tips. So fun to hear you. I watch your videos but don't always comment.

      Thank you!! It's quite a lot to take on, isn't it? I'm glad I can do it, and having the channel and my website means I can work from home and be here. But gosh I'm so tired. And I'm at the bottom of the list these days. Hoping it's going to become a little easier for me. I'd love to have that van so much!! I'm more of a glamper than a camper, though. LOL

    The eye spy panel makes a great kid quilt. I cut the individual blocks and used them as centers to square in a square blocks. The kiddo I gifted it to still uses the quilt at age 4. I bought two panels so she plays a matching game with her quilt when they take it on picnics.

    Your projects are cute. I have the whiskers in the teal and coordinating fabric waiting for me to complete. Thank you for sharing your dream of the van life. I also looked at that one time and had sticker shock. Prefer my space when it comes to that amount of money but would be a life changing experience to do that for awhile. I heard you can rent them so maybe try that first.

      Thank you so much!! I was mostly interested in the vans as a way to stay in the area where I currently live but reduce my costs. It's all getting so expensive here! And my mom's health has been really uncertain, though she's really improving and hopefully I'll have her with me a few more years. Ideally I would love both that gorgeous van and a condo, but IDK about that right now. The price of everything here is going insane.

    Such a great video ❤i hate i missed the live. I still haven't received my Riley Blake sale stuff yet. Im excited to see it. I hope i got everything i ordered. I agree with you on the panels. And sometimes they are cut crooked and you really lose out. Ah, such is life! Right?! You could pink the edges of each square & sew it on a square of fabric & make it as large as you want. Just thinking outloud....

      Thanks Bex!! I actually published this as a normal video. With mom and the nursing visits and the garden going crazy, I can't really make a live meet up during the week right now. But I do want to get the videos out there! If I get to the panel this summer, I'm going to show it as a whole cloth quilt and not binding. I think new quilters or young moms would like to see something like that. I want to offer some options for people who haven't quilted yet or people who need a true quilt in a day project.

    Hi Patty, I tried to order the Whiskers panel in white that you showed, but of course it was sold out. I put my name on the list for when it comes back in stock. That was 2 months ago. I'm too impatient, so I ordered the panel in the teal colorway with a couple of the other prints. Thank you for introducing me to this fabric !

      I'm so glad you love it!! It's really an adorable collection and I so hope the panel comes back. It might be available elsewhere if you dig around online. I'm still planning to share Whiskers projects but the garden and yard have kind of taken over so I'm adjusting to the extra outside work.

    I love panels and bought one recently online where the edges were cut too short and the image will have to be cut down quite a bit to square it up. Disappointed and not sure I will take a chance on ordering a panel like that again online.

    • @PattymacMakes
      @PattymacMakes  3 місяці тому

      Oh that is truly disappointing! I've had generally good luck and success with ordering online, and I think it's more to do with the way the panel is printed than anything else. But you can't see that until you get it home.
