Fabrics are beautiful! I use to sew a lot of garments when my kids were small and life got busy and took me away from my machines. I’ve thought about trying quilting now that I have more time again. You are inspiring!
Oh yeah!! You should try it! I am still surprised by how much I enjoy it. I have older videos that cover a lot of basics so that would probably be helpful, but I am planning on doing some super easy beginner quilt projects.

I am so glad you are having success with the Missouri Star affiliation! I would hate to see your channel go away! I swear that we have the same taste in fabrics and colors because I love everything that you choose! 😊 I really like that you have projects in mind for what you are buying too. I used to just buy stuff that I thought was pretty, but now I am wiser about my selections and I am trying to just get things that I have plans for. I pray that life gets easier for you soon. You are such a good person...I enjoy your videos and happy that MSQC is working for you. (I will love to buy more for your sake, but I really have to STOP buying more fabric - even though it's on sale.) I have some other quilter's that mention they are ambassadors, but none of them seem to be doing as much as you do.
Thank you so much!!! Missouri Star has given me so many opportunities. It has not only provided the resources I need to keep going, it has pushed me out of my box and to try all new things. I've been picking out fabrics I would never have considered before. I still suffer from from the oh it's so pretty I have to have it affliction, but I'm getting better. I think anything I get in my PR box should be designed to go into a specific tutorial or project. They you all can see it used in something and not just an unboxing.
@@MartyLawless-kh2jd Oh my gosh!! Please don't buy too much stuff on my behalf!! I totally understand what you mean though. I'm swimming in fabric and projects right now so I'm getting myself reorganized. Truthfully, a lot of people do youtube as a hobby and don't rely on this or a website for their income. Most other people are married or have outside work. THIS is my work and what I do as my job. So I do tend to be a little more salesy. I'm sure not everyone likes it, but I have bills to pay like everyone else. And even though mom is better, she is in failing health so I have a lot on my shoulders if I find myself alone sooner than later. I probably should not be so transparent about it, but I like to be honest about my motivations. Also, I would not push it if I didn't really believe in the products or the company. I'm very selective about what I share with viewers. You can't believe how inundated I am with people who want to send me stuff for videos. But I generally delete them all. MSQC is a great company and I love the family story. I'm honored they chose me to work with them in this capacity. It's been a huge blessing for me! I'm thankful every day for it and for such lovely viewers as yourself.

Thank you so much!!! It's literally my computer webcam and I added my grow lights that I use for task lights as an extra light. It saved me from having to set up the large flapjack light I would typically use.

Oh thank you!!! Mom has improved greatly! Thank you for asking. She's still bedridden and that probably won't change but she's gotten such great care from our team. I'm forever grateful to them for helping us. And YES> Honest to goodness Missouri Star essentially has saved my channel! I'm grateful every day for them! I've had other affiliate products but nothing performs like MSQC.

Thank you!! It's been quite a challenge and I'm hoping I have the paperwork done properly to facilitate the next stage of things. It has NOT been easy. I love the Verbena, but it's an older collection now so I will probably not do a sew along with it at this point. I did piece two panels from the charm pack to construct a new Alice bag for myself, so I'll definitely show you that when I get back to it.

Oh my goodness, I brought that same fat quarter bundle and made Jenny’s double friendship star quilt. I did make the block about half the size since I was using fat quarters.

The verbena fabric looks great with the red, white & blue bundle. I love 16” blocks too. Your lighting is fine. On the live streams, unfortunately I can’t be on during the daylight hours as I’m usually gone to various classes or at various dr appoints for my parents . However, I always watch on replay. Just received the strawberry garden squares along with a patriotic Chuck. Plan on making the strawberry wall hanging soon. Appreciate all that you do.

Is difficult to see the stars shape around the Square in the Square. I would suggest you would reverse the Navy with the gold for a better contrast with the background. For beginners you could use a four patch in the center of your stars.
I want yellow star legs so that doesn't work for me at all. I want it to look like a summer sun. That would be way too much blue with the diamonds for my taste. It would be off balance completely if I did that. But you could certainly make one that way!!!

Hi Pattymac, well I have to say Hip hip hooray ! I received an e-mail from Missouri Star and the Whiskers panel in the white colorway is back in stock and so of course I had to order 2 of them. Thank you so much for introducing me to the Whiskers fabric line. I can't wait to receive them. I have to say the fat quarters you showed in red, white and blue are very pretty. The red and blue are so rich looking. I'm a Canadian, but I've always liked those colors. That is a massive tote bag - wow. I'm looking forward to your next video. Cheers.
I'm so happy you finally got them for yourself! You will not be disappointed because Whiskers is absolutely darling. The red, white and blue works for France also so I don't know if you're in a French Canadian province or not. Red, yellow and blue, which is what I'm putting together is considered primary colors, so honestly, it can be taken a lot of different ways. I'm just super excited to see the fabric in the design! You could use whatever fabrics you prefer if you wanted to make one of these along with me.
I like big blocks until I try to quilt them on my little foot frame.
That actual quiliting of the quilt is kind of a task!

Thank you so much for that feedback! I'm definitely going to plan on hosting that for us in July! It's only 2 block designs so it should be easy in terms of tutorials. And if we complete a row a week which is only 4 blocks, we can finish by the end of the month. I'll get the fabric requirements together and talk about the needed skills, which are HST units and Flying Geese. You could do all HST if you prefer but I'm going to demo it with a mix. I'm looking forward to this so much now!

Loving your channel. The quilt along info you asked for…set a date, tell what fabric you will use and where to find it. Perhaps show some alternative colorings, 2-3. The do an information ahead of time for cutting questions that may come up. And remind everyone of the start date (although encourage flexibility to the viewers. But some people count on the dates you set up so follow through with that. I’ll be on it. You’re great. We all want to be here or we wouldn’t be here. If you enjoy it, do it. Keep doing it. Thank you so much Lisa! The whole idea of it over whelms me. I tried to do one before and I didn't do so great of a job. I'll do better this year! I kept it to only two block designs so that should simplify some of it. I guess we could construct a row per week and join completed rows at the end of the week so in the fourth week we can do the last join and put on the small border. I'm going to cut and paste your suggestions into my notes to help me get this planned out. Thank you so much!!!!!!! I really appreciate the help.

Thank you!! It will be a while so I'm just doing my best. I've been decluttering a lot of excess stuff to make it easier for me to keep up with everything, but the decluttering is also a big job. But little by little I've been working on that too.

Oh it's called Broken Dishes!! Just google it and you'll see what I mean. It's so pretty and uses only half square triangles.

Oh thank you! I just drew it a couple weeks ago and I want to see how it looks in person. I am going to demo the blocks on the channel in July and sew it together then. I did a row quilt a couple of years ago the same way. I don't have it written as a pattern yet, though.

I think that you made a bag out of it. I did a table runner and followed your video to make it. It’s still one of my favorite table runners! So keep the content coming!
