- So after this video im deciding to keep my MPS didnt really give the car a chance to impress me but seeing how it performed when me and Russ took her for a blast really made me want to keep her!
Ill make an update video soon as to what the plans are next and i think its time to start modifying her!

@@jimmyscivicEP3 learn about what you talk about, these are proper good, just an intake, fuel pump, downpipe you'll be at 340hp, more capable then focus st's and gold gtis, in fact it has the same amount of torque as a brand new golf r and same 0-60 as a new type r

Glad to hear your keeping it, it’s a really nice car the MPS, that ticks all the boxes and has a lot of potential. I felt that if you sold it you’d be downgrading to an N/A Honda most likely! Didn’t say anything at the time as it’s your choice and I didn’t like to type negative comments, but now your keeping it I can air my opinions 😜

Ok, well to even things out, I believe both are true. Selling & getting the money he wants for this (especially in these weird times when nothing will sell easy) is proving almost impossible, but meeting another MPS enthusiast & seeing the possibilities for making the car a litter rawer & fun, it has relighted his enthusiasm for his cool white, rare MPS.

Hopefully you read this mate as I’m going to waffle on a bit but i think its worth a read 🙂. So i got a 56 plate Audi A4 2.0 turbo special edition and i bought it knowing it wasn’t fast enough from stock (220hp) but it had potential, i fell out of love with it last year for the same reason as you have/did with the mps, it just didnt give me anything in return and i hated driving a stock car until i could afford to do what i wanted to do, and mate it was you and seeing how much you loved your car that made me realise how much i loved the audi and made me stick with it now its set up ready for stage 2+ and even though its been a couple if grand its been worth it as its a different machine all together, basically what im saying is i felt like you do and you kept me focused and on track so you need to find that thing that keeps you going and it will be worth it in the end.
Love it the style for me is perfect mean looking with subtle visual modifications

with an upgraded PCV plate, the stock one way PCV backs with oil over 15 psi of boost, and sends oil from the crank case back in to the intake causing blow by. I was losing mass amounts of oil and didn't know why after the turbo upgrade.

Down pipe it

Hello Jesse at a rough guess your mps is mapped as minimum requirements for map is a intake and exhaust I would say about 300 or just under either using versatune or mazdaedit, hope this helps

Hi, I need to know what is the difference of a MAZDA 3 2.3 DIS MPS (2006-) vs MAZDA 3 2.3 MPS TURBO (2006-)?

If you go from 1st to 3rd then back to 2nd you don't get the crunch sounds from the gears. You don't have to release the clutch when in 3rd, it's just a quick in and out and back to 2nd. This is just for daily cruising mind you, not something to do when getting serious in a run.

What's happening with the hondas?
The diff isn't electronic, they have a gkn super lsd as standard. Don't know why 80% of people assume it's not a proper diff.

Ordered plates from Monsta Plates after your recommendation, they took my money and then haven't responded since. Ignored all emails! They seem pretty poor. When you go on their Facebook page there are multiple comments from people asking where their order is or why they aren't responding to emails lol
The exhaust note reminds me a bit of a Subaru lol sounds awesome.
Crooksy92 these have the same boxster engines as the subarus
Both have unequal length headers I think that's why. My MPS 3 sounds like a Subie as well.

Jesse and me discussed this on the day and its like any car, some people can be very unlucky and blow a engine with just a map, and yes maintenance is key and having someone who knows these cars map it.
