You don't see many modified 208 GTis (well, I don't at least), so nice to see something a little bit different.
They are nice, haven't seen many moded ones about.
my grandad had one 😂 but my nan kept complaining he was driving too fast so had do downgrade when it came to changing it.
Mine is sitting at 240 hp and 350Nm , went with a little less cause I got the stock exhaust and the engine creates a lot of heat. Fun little car. Eats corners for breakfast 😋
But also the fuel consumption is amazing.
Having fun around 7.5l/100km
But also 6l/100km daily use is possible. :D
Cost me a lot so far cause its one of the first ever built but I love it so much :D
What mods have you got on your 208?
@@TheParker1232 Software , Intercooler , Intake, Airfilter , turbo valve. All things that got changed.
So much better than a generic 'dsg with stage 2 map' type of review
Love the 208gti, sold mine about 6 months ago. Seats look like they hug but they dont. All it takes is a fast corner and you're swaying all over the place

He done what I done with my previous car I was looking at Sts ect and thought what else is there, ended up getting a kia ceed GT as there are rare, you should get one of them on the channel you'll be impressed 1.6 twin scroll turbo just over 200bhp as standard, I had it for about 2.5 years and full on ragged it every day and was totally fine! One of the Best cars I've had! Definitely been the most reliable upto now just hope my s3 changes my mind now 😂

Tempted with one of these. Cheap tax insurance fuel, 6.8 secs 0-60 which is good for a 14 plate car for 6k. Would need to spend a lot more for something similar age that is german
could have sworn these can run 300+ on stock engines? one on LLF thats stock pistons/rods but might be wrong
About 250bhp safely on this version of the EP6
The 308 gti i believe it has the same engine. And it produces 270 stock.
@@tugaoverlord its not the same engine. 208 after 240/250 starts to fall apart both on internals and gearbox.

@@mc1996 Thanks mate! Honestly think the clio handled better overall, rear end stability & balance were way better in the 182. The 208 in comparison however wins everywhere else. Brakes are amazing when hot, power much more aggressive & the mini steering wheel feels SO much better.
@@tomharper2709 Great to know! The original steering wheel on the ph2 Clio RS is way to big on my opinion.

@@Triicks111 yea they are in fairness the 182 clio is a better car but I bloody love this red baguette have u got insta then I can follow the build pal ut yea everyone seems to think the 206 doesn't have bigger engines than 1.4 or 1.6 so see this keep up with type r or in twisty stuff keep up they shocked lol

If u think 400s alot u should come make a video on my e90 335d with 747nm and 381bhp😂 or maybe my 500bhp subaru Sti version 7 import? 👀Or my e60 535d 760nm and 380bhp?? Take ur pick🤔
But it's coming from a 1.6 engine and pulling 1000kg so its probably more torque per tonne than your cars mentioned
The glove boxes are hilarious. My DS3 has exactly the same one 😂 Same engine too so I happily go without a real glove box! 😂

I got the same car and the same torque with 270hp
I bought a 208 gti a couple of months ago, and i basically want to do the same modify... And i probably going bankrupt in a couple of months haha
