Excellent video...I will never tire of hearing Kurt Cobain stories. 🖤
Happy Birthday Kurt zum 57.
...wir vermissen dich...ohne dich ist die Musikwelt nicht mehr dasselbe...RIP
Have you noticed they kept bringing up that word, and how Courtney is always there to "save his life"???
Hätte sie sich mal etwas weniger gekümmert, würde er heute vielleicht noch leben...ich hoffe weiter, das es Karma richten wird...
But she was there.

Photographer: Hey, Kurt.
Kurt: Gotta bucket?
Thanks for sharing. Love from Latvia!
That same night I would see Nirvana live for the first time. I was 14. By the way, the cardigan was sold at auction and so were Kurt’s patched up jeans which he left at rehab and were kept for many years by Gibby Haynes of the Butthole Surfers who was also at the same rehab.
Great piece bro !
Very interesting story
You got the days mixed up. Just so ya know. This was the day before...
The Jesse Frohman Photo Shoot was taken on July 22, 1993 at the Omni Berkshire Hotel, then after that Nirvana rehearses at the Roseland Ballroom, then Kurt and Krist attend a Melvins concert at the Sheraton Hotel, then Kurt was Interviewed by Jon Savage at the New York Palace Hotel.
July 23, 1993 - Kurt Cobain overdoses on heroin but is revived without being hospitalized. Nirvana performed at the Roseland Ballroom, New York, NY (No one in the crowd or even Krist or Dave knew Kurt OD earlier that day). After Nirvana show at the Roseland Ballroom (New Music Seminar), Krist Novoselic attends a Pavement concert at Irving Plaza, New York, NY.
A wonderful musical and awesome guy .
Rest in piece kurt Cobain🙏🙏
peace
I saw on Instagram last month someone is selling the same cardigan he wore in the final shoot and at roseland. It’s from the 1960s thrifted 🙀🙀
Can relate. I hate having my picture taken as well.
Have a good day
I wouldn't call it OD (overdose). Puking is just a side effect of smack; it is something that can happen at any time.
OD is most of the times referred to passing out or dying ... not really something as insignificant as puking.
Just a clarification.
Of course puking is not the same as overdosing, but in fact he did OD and almost die that day, the exact moment is not clear though.
He did overdose and almost died. In his hotel suite. This happened in the very early hours of the morning. Paramedics were called. Later that night Nirvana played with Jesus Lizard at Roseland. My 14 year old self was in the crowd. Didn’t find out about the OD story until I was in college. I saw Nirvana for the 2nd and last time in November of 93 at the old NY Coliseum.
There is no almost dead there is alive and dead
Where can you get this book?
It's crazy to think that clothes belonging to Kurt are selling for tens of thousands of dollars when he probably paid a buck or two for them at a thrift store.
I have watched countless videos about Kurt and how he almost died from overdosing etc. Let’s face it, he loved to get high and he couldn’t stop. Idk how he was miraculously saved every time by Courtney, like idk what the treatment was for opiate overdose at the time but either these stories were fabricated, or he was the luckiest person on earth…so I guess April 1994, regardless if he was murdered or did himself in, he was not gonna make it much longer.
i think he got off drugs after this incident because if you look at photos from august, and later in 93 he looks like a different person.
