You should use stabilizer fins, if you get an inaccuracy multiplier

Thank you for the advice! I can use stabilizing fins instead of tracers. I just hope that the slow-down wont affect overall kinetic danage that much.

      @@DerHeizmeister You are welcome =)
You can use both if you need more accuracy but usually ime below 0.2° is fine. Hit rate is more dependent on shell speed than actual gun accuracy because the game uses a first order prediction to aim at moving target (more speed = shorter time to target = better first order prediction).

I see... Considering that I plan for engagement ranges of up to 1200m I think I should be fine using stablizers only. And 900m/s of shell speed is not perfect but good enough. More can be adjusted during the testing phase.

today you started your vid with "eatings ladies and gentlemen"
fitting for Halloween i guess ... but i doubt that was on purpose 😛
my typical order in which i plan my craft is this
    > role/purpose - aka what is the craft meant to achieve and how does that fit into the rest of the fleet?
    > size - how big will it have to be to achieve that role/purpose?
    > systems & system size - which systems/funtion should the craft have and how big will they be?
    > layout - where should each system/function be within the craft?
    > hull shape - build the basic hull shape
    > compartmentalize - add bulkheads and decks (though they might need to be moved, or sometimes even removed entirely, once systems are being placed)
    > system placement - roughly place the systems in order from most sensitive to positioning to least sensitive (e.g. start with the main guns, then the secondaries, the propulsion, then the rest)
    >super structure - roughly shape the superstructure so that systems can be placed in and on it
    > flesh it out - place the systems and adjust their sizes/shapes
    > prototype - finish the first iteration
    > testing & improving - perform thorough and rough combat tests and improve on any issues one finds during them
    > completion - paint and decorate the craft (don't forget - easily shot of decorations effectively reduce the HP of the craft)
so... what is the purpose and intended size of the "hovership"?

      Ima be honest with you…

@@thekringe4387 I am known for going a bit overboard when it comes to planning my designs ^.^
Though I prefer to call that "being thorough"
The results are fairly nice though, as one could see from the various designs of mine that heizmeister is using in his various campaign playthrougs

The purpose of this hovership is to be a fast and versatile attack craft that can chase its enemies down on the sea as well as on land. Plus, I need something that can approach from unexpected angles and engage land installations without being an aircraft of airship. For certain "reasons".

Yep, up until recently that was my way of doing it as well.

An experimental ship, should totally have at least one “experimental” weapon. (Wether that be a laser, massive railgun, huge missile, whatever) Just a fun idea. ;)

Well... I have heard somewhere that PACs work above, as well as under water. Just saying... ;)

      Yes yes
      Become pierce PAC enjoyer
(Also could just know add acbs to make it become a terrifying aa emplacement as well.

I was thinking of an underslung PAC mounted near the keel. Using close-range lenses for extra dmg up close. And of course ACBs to change particle type.

Your battle cruiser got very religious very fast. Some may say she's holey.
