I love my 2g Frontier. Just drove it to Colorado currently there wheeling it in the mountains about to drive it home. Definitely a dated truck but it is a trooper
@@FitmentIndustries you missed tons g35, g37 being one of the most sold sedan and carrying nissan/infiniti the now not so much underrated cd009 transmission, vq37hr, pretty timeless body style like i get youtubers wanna stay around the 10 minutes mark but if you’re gonna drop an informational video on a company instead of deopping a video with known information to the general car people to reach ur monthly view margin dive in and give a breakdown. This is why I’ve strayed away from this channel and by looking at the views many others as well. Just gonna wait for donut media video at least they get it right most of the time
Actually the q50 and q60 are really cool cars and can be made really freaking fast. I believe stock turbos u can run high tens. Record is like 10.5 on stock turbos that’s pretty good!
That car was the reason for the gentleman's agreement. A 300 something HP production car that was marketed to the everyday driver at an affordable price point? Unheard of, Ferraris and Lamborghinis were the only things making 300-400 at the time
My first Nissan I’ve owned (and still own) is my 2005 Nissan Altima SE-R, and that car made me fall in love with Nissan. I now have a G35 coupe that I’m dailying while the SE-R is getting some much needed love. Also have had a newer Sentra (2016) that I had for a while but they’re really and truly only good for around 100k miles before the transmissions start to have problems.
Carlos definitely stole money from Nissan, but, they could have possibly had to close the doors if he hadn't come along. Idk. It's a wild story that deserves a movie.
I wouldn't put Infiniti as a negative as a whole. G37 was great, and q50/q60 are some of the best they've made. It's more just Infiniti suvs that let it down
Thing I hate is the fact they still advertise the maxima and even the Altima on their website as “sport sedans”. 🤣 there is nothing even remotely sporty about a CVT.
I know I’m basically two weeks late, but how can you put in a clip of a 2018 INFINITI and then show a 2022 Lexus when talking about INFINITI being slacking? The new INFINITI cars (sedan and coupe) look GREAT.
I do find your infiniti segment to be extremely biased and lacking research for fact infiniti is killing it with their Red sport lineup, their sport trims in sedans, the Q60's etc.
One of my friend's mom in highschool had a Murano and honestly it was a pretty good vehicle for what it was. The convertible version was so weird though. - Sam
Bro, y’all do know we’re in 2022 now? And so is Nissan? The Altima reputation is ass I’ll admit but the cars are at that price point for a reason. If you want, go buy a Toyota or Honda. And as far as CVT, they aren’t trash just stop driving on without proper maintenance and flooring the mf as if it were a z or gtr.
^^EXACTLY. A lot of people who actually start to have issues with them either neglect regular maintenance or buy them used from people who neglect regular maintenance. My CVT Sentra was great but I personally hated having a CVT, not that it was messing up or anything, just hated not hearing my car shift into another gear.
Day 318 of asking for a "So you want a nissan juke" Edit: He said that nismo is good so that means that the nissan juke nismo is an amazing car (AND they come in manual too 😫)
I was with you for a lot of points... I til you mentioned the QX56 qx80. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean they're bad cars. The vk56 is a fantastic V8. You said nothing about the car except how you don't like how it looks. Shit take bro.
The power trains in those trucks are bullet proof and reliability sounds solid. I just have a hard time getting interested in them since I'm not a huge fan of their looks...just me though. - Sam
cheap plastics?!? ...oh please... i drive a 1998 general motors vehicle... i SEE ur "cheap plastics" & i RAISE u one f-body interior... i win! ...or... i guess, i loose... (haha)
I’m a Nissan fanboy, owned a maxima, rouge, 350z, 370z and soon to be new Z. Very excited to see where the brand goes
Hopefully in the right direction! 🙏
Making a 4th car using a modified 350z chassis.
I’m gonna miss the maxima.
The first gen 1991-1994 Nissan Sentra SE-R was and still is criminally underrated!!!
This is very true, I have a huge soft spot for the SE-R. - Sam
Very true super underrated car, I’ve always wanted a B13 SE-R so bad
You forgot to mention that the second generation Frontier was produced for SIXTEEN YEARS before Nissan released the third gen this past January
Jesus
That’s a good truck tho
Lol, I should have put that in there. It's insane how many they sold around the world too - Sam

Dude 90's nissan was the best of the best, also the Z32 was arguably the most innovative car of the 90's as a whole

Bit harsh, the Infiniti G37 manual coupe is one best cars Nissan ever made IMO.
They are pretty dope to be honest!
Do BMW 3 series or Camaro next. I’ve seen other channels do it but it’s always nice to see people have their opinions.

Nissans my favorite company. Want a R33 GTR, but currently loving my 2007 Sentra SE R SpecV 😁

Agreed!
Yes, this is perfect to listen to as I play Need For Speed: Carbon.
Here at 1 like (I liked it)
Nissan for the win
Also I’m an Infiniti tech. I can confirm we take forever to update our shit😂 but when we update it it’s definitely nicer on the inside
really liking this series, do Mitsubishi next!
Thank you! I'll make sure they are on the list. - Sam
Nissan Maxima was a pretty good car I have a 01 20th Anniversary Edition with the VQ30 non turbo those were pretty good cars
nissan was crazy in the 90s if they kept going in the direction they were going they would’ve been the best car brand
Putting Infiniti under the bad section of this video hurt ngl 💔😭😭
I'm sorry 😬 - Sam
im punching air rn
@@jakeosborn3504 LMAO 🤣
I'm not a huge Nissan fan but I really like the Xterra for it's capability and the new Z looks very promising for years to come
I had a Nissan cvt last to 375,000 and was still going strong when the car was totaled 🥲
😲 how did that happen?
I'll always remember the scene from _Superhero Movie,_ of the “1983 Nissan Shitbox” selling for $300 USD. 🤣

You right, you right.
Love my 370z but gearing up to make the switch to the Supra I think. Same weight but more powerful but it’ll be hard to sell my Z 🥺
Love my 370z wouldn’t trade it for anything
Well maybe a gtr or a 911 gt3🤔
I mean....that would be a fair trade 🤷♂️
We have the SAME tastes… nice!
YESSS I RECOMMEND THIS ON THE LAST GOOD BAD AND UGLY VIDEO!!
🤝
Lol cuz the z32 300zx wasn't a technological wonder from the early 90's...
Please do a video on the Laurel and Cefiro!!!! Drift Gods
Nissan was my favorite brand, until I nabbed a B16 Sentra. Those CVTs are a thing of NIGHTMARES.
Still love me some pre and post-Carlos Nissan though
I'd say take another chance on a different Nissan!
@@FitmentIndustries Oh, I’m gonna!

I’d still love to have a 200zr z31 I’ve had two usdm 300zx z31 one a slicktop the other a t top
Not every single person has to like Toyota. this guy is a Nissan enthusiast and I'm Honda enthusiast.
My wife got a brand new 2018 maxima back in 2017 plastics and everything. And the transmission started slipping at 16k miles.
😭😭😭

One great Nissan the USA didn’t get is Nissan Patrol
Specifically Y60 and Y61 Nissan Patrol.
You are totally right! - Sam
I love my 370z such a great car.
Y’all forgot the hardbodies 😢
Those are cool little trucks, especially in black or yellow for some reason in my opinion - Sam
Love my 370Z but will never own their other cars aside from the GT-R. I'll stick with Toyota for my daily driving.
I'd like a sub 20k single cab truck that isn't boosted that gets 24+mpg. I need a cheap daily truck. Basically another b2300 like I daily.
Mitsubishi next!!
Love this vid but the music fr gets annoying

Still salty about Nissan ditching the IDX concept for the Murano Cross Cabriolet.
They could’ve been raking in the cash like the modern 86.

nissan 80s 90s cars are just better than anything.
Completely agree!
Nissan armada is sexy compared to the qx56 and qx80
90s shitbox apparently you don't know Datsun lol. The Era of the 240z cars and 510 were the thinnest sheet metal cars ever.
